My personal view on David Bain is that he is the killer. Maybe Robin was tampering with all of his children (unusual for a molestor to just abuse one) and David’s mother never protected them. I can understand that motive. No-one will ever know for sure unless David flips out again.
It’s the second time Judith Collins has impressed me (the other being the smoking ban in prisons) much as I hate to admit it.
One of my all-time favourite David essays (Sedaris that is, not Bain) is about patricide and matricide http://www.newyorker.com/archive/2006/06/26/060626fa_fact?currentPage=1

There’s no suggestion in the evidence that David was molested.
It seems David still loves his father and has not even spoken badly of him since the murders.
David was the molester. (Disclaimer: IMNSHO.)
But I’ll get to that in an upcoming blog post.
