Candace Owens, George Farmer, and the Turn Against the Jews

Candace Owens’ sharp pivot toward hostility against Jews has puzzled many observers. Once a Protestant with Reformed leanings, Owens’ rhetoric took a noticeable turn after her 2019 marriage to British political figure George Farmer. According to Rabbi Tovia Singer, the explanation lies not in her politics but in her husband’s religion.

In a recent YouTube talk, Rabbi Singer explained:

“Her husband … is from an iteration of Catholicism that rejects the Second Vatican Council. Her husband … belongs to a version of Catholicism like the Mel Gibson type where they hold that the last Pope, the real last Pope, is Pius XII … She [Owens] used to be a Protestant … She converts to her husband’s Catholicism.”

This describes a fringe Catholic faction known as sedevacantism.

What is Sedevacantism?

The word means literally “the seat is vacant.” Sedevacantists reject the legitimacy of every pope after Pius XII (who died in 1958), claiming the Church went into apostasy with the reforms of the Second Vatican Council (1962–65).

Vatican II was revolutionary in Catholic-Jewish relations. Its declaration Nostra Aetate explicitly repudiated the centuries-old charge that Jews were collectively guilty for the death of Christ. It called Jews “beloved by God,” affirmed their covenant, and urged Catholics to build respect and dialogue with Judaism.

Sedevacantists reject all of this. For them, Vatican II was heresy, and the modern papacy illegitimate. In practice, this means they return to pre–Vatican II attitudes: Jews are seen as blind to Christ, in need of conversion, and often framed as hostile to Christianity itself.

The Owens-Farmer Shift

Owens’ husband George Farmer comes from this world. Described by Singer as “super-Catholic,” Farmer is said to hold that Pius XII was the last legitimate pope and that the papal seat has been vacant since.

When Owens married him, she converted. Her subsequent public turn — increasingly antagonistic toward Jews, skeptical of Israel, and aligned with conspiracy-tinged narratives — reflects this theological repositioning.

This is not merely a stylistic change, nor just politics. It is rooted in the anti-Jewish theology of a hardline Catholic faction.

Why It Matters

The story of Candace Owens’ change is a case study in how theology still shapes politics in unexpected ways. Fringe Catholic sects like sedevacantism remain small, but their influence can extend through public figures with massive platforms.

By tracing her shift through the lens of Rabbi Singer’s observation, we see the through-line: a move from mainstream Protestantism into a sect that rejects Vatican II and its reconciliation with Jews, and, unsurprisingly, the adoption of rhetoric steeped in that worldview.

Owens’ hostility, then, is not random. It is theological. And it helps explain why her once-vibrant public persona has become increasingly associated with hostility toward the Jewish people.

One small yet important observation I get from this is we can see that prior to the ‘Second Vatican Council’ of the early part of the 1960s, that Catholic Teaching was very Anti-Semitic and therefore would have had little problem collaborating with Hitler’s Nazis.
Candace Owens Husband advocates for that form of Catholicism and we see this hateful spirit being revived in Candace Owens.
It is the spirit of Antichrist and was behind the Holocaust.

14 year old ‘Scottish Girl’ who brandished a knife and axe supposedly defending her friend from the unwanted attention of a Male Migrant.
According to X users she has been charged by the British Police.
She is now being hailed as ‘a hero’. An image of British Girls whom are exposed to the worst consequences of Mass Illegal immigration, and a government that does little to enforce the Law.
She symbolises the idea that No safety or Justice can be found from the Corrupt Political system and that Girls must therefore look to their own protection.
That this is a very real problem cannot be denied. The country is understandably in an uproar about this yet now many in the Anti-mass-immigration movement are using her ‘Motif’ to symbolise their angst. This is not good for the movement… let me explain why…..

This is Sad. The National Independence and anti-mass migration movement is tainted by this image.
It may be provocative and stir many Britons out of apathy and into action… but I’m concerned it promotes the wrong sort of action.
Am I over-reacting?
I fear the powers that be actually want the movement to descend into civil unrest very much like the US BLM and Antifa Riots that destroyed cities and people died.
Those riots were allowed to kick off because they served the political interests of the Democrat Mayors, Governors, etc.

The image of an angry little girl with knife and axe does not represent or promote the Righteous way to protest or resist Evil Government… Only as a last resort ought the people to take up arms, and those arms ought to be directed towards the Evil Criminal powers… not other ordinary people… not even against migrants (except in self defense). Too many people are being miss-directed into hating the wrong group. People need to appreciate the Illegal immigrants are as much Pawns in this evil agenda and the Citizens are being treated. Fools don’t appreciate this whole ugly business has been purposefully orchestrated to generate social unrest and chaos.

So in this way if the Patriots start to behave like savages and turn to violence, etc, they will be playing directly into the WEF Puppet masters hands. For now they can unleash the Goon squads… under the guise of keeping public order. Now they can outlaw Nationalist organisations and speeches… under the guise of combatting extremism.
Ie Any unrest caused by the Anti-mass migration movement will be the pretext for utterly crushing the movement and making any protests… even peaceful ones… Illegal.

Any so-called ‘patriots’ who resort to rioting and violence will have vindicated the Globalist Leftist’s slanders that the movement is Far Right, Extremist, and dangerous.

Where are the dissident leaders calling for *non-violent* peaceful resistance and civil disobedience?

Resorting to arms is only a final recourse and it is literally to overthrow the corrupt government… so unless the British people actually want *a revolution*, they ought to shun violence, and instead gather in mass and demand Starmer and co Resign, and have new elections… no one who having promoted Mass migration or the woke agender being fit to stand for office.

I 100% agree with you Tommy.
The Big problem is the Righteous Nationalist movement against Mass migration has been infiltrated by Far Right White power racists advocating pure racism.
Good British people are rightly alarmed at the evils of the Globalist Left agenda driven systematic Mass migration using Migrants of alien culture and backward manners that are incongruitous with free and civil society to destroy Western civilisation.
We Civil Citizens can see our governments have sold us out to the WEF who seek to destroy Western capitalism… seek to bankrupt western nations, and cause Social calamity … so that they can implement their ‘Great Reset’… Globalist Totalitarian New World Order. We Know this. So we are rallying to defend Freedom, our Culture, and The foundations of our civil society… Yet Far Right Racists are actively subverting large numbers of the Nationalist movement, and are fooling thousands of people into thinking this is primarily *a Race-based struggle* rather than an *ideological struggle*.

Not all Black People are Poor.
Not all White people are Rich.
Not all Black people are criminals.
Not all White people are honest.

It’s a question of Values and ethics… not race.

Good values and ethics tends to Self responsibility. hard work, thrift and avoidance of Vice.
All this tends towards prosperity and higher quality of life. It tends towards being trusted… good business relations.
These people function well in freedom.
They vote pro-freedom… low taxes.

The person with poor values and ethics rarely has the integrity to admit their woes are mostly of their own doing… because of their own poor choices.
They rather tend to shift the blame onto others… and claim they are the victims of oppression.
It’s as simple as that.
They want government hand outs.

Statistics prove Black Americans, and Maori New Zealanders… lack Good values and ethics.
That is why they have terrible social statistics… not because of racial prejudice.
These sorry types are also preyed upon by Far left socialists who feed their envy and malice and use them as political footballs for their own political gains.
These ‘blamers’ vote far Left.

Blacks with good ethics rise above their peers.
Maori who migrate to Australia and elsewhere do well for themselves… because they tend to be individuals who are prepared to work for their own betterment rather than wallowing in self pity and blame.

Whites with poor Values and ethics suffer the same fate … they live in poverty… they tend towards crime… they blame others for their lot in life… and vote Left.

Christian X user asks the question… “Should Porn be allowed on this platform?”

Public nudity in a free and civil society has always been a contentious issue. Even the discussion of Sex is contentious.

As a Libertarian Christian I have defended the rights of Sex workers, and Public parades such as ‘Boobs on Bikes’ from Oppressive Councils and laws that were under pressure to prohibit these things largely from Christian activist lobby groups.

Some people will wonder how as a Christian I might take such a position? I take that position because I believe in a separation of church and state, and I do not like Christianity and the bible being used as a bludgeon to persecute sinners and infidels. I believe that to be absolutely Unchristian, and also a corruption of the Law… and a violation of individual rights.

Many anti-freedom people think that by taking the side of prostitutes that I am endorsing prostitution, yet that is false. I do not want anyone (man or woman) to prostitute themselves, yet that does not mean I therefore should support laws against them.

I believe In liberty.. as a Libertarian Christian we have far more hope of saving people from prostitution if we show love for them rather than hateful oppression. Christians can still work to reduce prostitution via the gospel… which is the true Christian way to battle sin and improve the world…. all under freedom.

Now I said all this here to give context to the question raised above. Porn in Western society may be construed as being anything from showing a nipple… to full on Sex. I personally am not bothered by the former being allowed in public yet would be very bothered by the latter… so even Libertarian Tim thinks there must be a line drawn *somewhere*.

Myself… applying the principle of Equality before the law when supporting ‘Boobs parades in Hamilton’ was that if men are allowed to walk topless down the street so too should woman be lawfully allowed to. Instead of allowing woman to do so, we could instead simply create a new prohibition against men having bare chests…. yet is this the best direction for society… less freedom… more laws/rules/punishments? It’s obvious to me thats the wrong direction to take society… that leads to what is happening in the Islamic world with Burkas and Beard police.

The truth is Christians need to be tolerant of others who do not share *all* the same values and sentiments we do… yet who are still peaceful and civil. Ie seeing a boob on the street you may find offensive (I don’t) but is certainly does not violate any of your rights!

If we were to apply that to social media platforms and boobs were allowed… then anyone offended by it could scroll past that post… and even block the sender of the post…. thereby *self policing* their own content without imposing their views on others. And this is how a free and civil society really works. Tolerance… and Individuals taking responsibility for their own moral standards rather than expecting the government to act like the Taliban.

X could set up an ‘R18’ tab (maybe they already do) and users could click that tab to prevent any R18 content appearing in their feed. They probably already do this… I’m not sure. I’m fairly certain most x users don’t want explicit porn turning up in their feed, yet I’m sure the odd boob pick from a chick on the back of a motor cycle does not bother too many people????

Ultimately such questions are for the Platforms themselves to figure out… yet if they get it wrong It would impact on their User satisfaction and cause people to leave. Lets say X allowed nudity yet not explicit sex acts… at first some millions who cant handle the sight of a boob to leave. That would be an expected cost. yet eventually those numbers would recover and users would just take such stuff in their stride like adults. And personally speaking I think that is progress… an escape from the petty legalistic prudish attitudes that still support Legal oppression under the guise of Christian virtue.

If nudity was allowed on X that would not mean Christians could no longer maintain their own virtues. They might face more ‘temptation’… yet it would be up to them to overcome that as all Christian ought. Ironically It’s the more Pious types that have the most problem when confronted with a boob! Everyone else just laughs… or scrolls past.

That’s my 5 cents. 🙂
