According to a new Army report, as of November, 303 active-duty, Reserve and National Guard soldiers had committed suicide in 2012. During the same period, 212 men and women in uniform were lost due to combat fatalities in Afghanistan.
It’s depressing, and disgusting.
Our military has sacrificed precious blood and treasure in Afghanistan for an ill-defined, and as such probably unwinnable, war. They’ve been given an arbitrary withdrawal date which has nothing to do with the accomplishment of any military goal and everything to do with politics. While they wait to leave, they’re still forced to fight, but their Commander in Chief has offered them little in the way of an objective.
When they finally do earn a ticket home, they return to a broken, barely functional, America. The economy is in the dumper, jobs are nigh-on impossible to come by, and – as a result of their low pay – former soldiers find themselves in an extraordinarily difficult financial position. All too often, this is leading to depression, substance abuse, and suicide.
Given the lack of leadership, coupled with the reality of the U.S. fiscal situation, are we really supposed to be surprised about the ugly numbers?
The President, the government, and every American citizen should be ashamed that we’re doing so little to support the men and women who protect our nation. This is the darkest scandal of the Obama administration.

Once spooked by some crisis, Terrified Sheeple beg the State to take away rights and liberties…to persecute and oppress.
When no crisis conveniently materializes of It’s own accord, The driven Machiavellian will orchestrate one, what is known as a false flag black op, The Reichstag fire in 1933 is a good example, The Nazis used the fire as a pretext to destroy their Political enemies… the Communists , and passed the Enabling Act …Hitler assuming the Powers of Dictator… ending Democracy.
Hitler also covertly orchestrated chaos in Czechoslovakia so that he could Invade, annex, and occupy it under the pretext of protecting the minority German population there.
It is in the light of such tactics and historical precedents, that I want to look at the Coming Civil Unrest which is about to befall America and a great portion of western civilization…any day now.
Unlike many Western populations whom have already been disarmed and left defenseless, America was born out of Armed revolution and Gun ownership is a matter of Patriotism for millions.
The Founding Fathers instilled the doctrine of ‘the Right of Revolution’… The right of the American people to take up arms against their own government if and when it becomes despotic…the only defence against tyranny being an armed and vigilant population.
Many will not surrender their arms easily… esp those whom have a healthy distrust of Government.
Since 911 and the infamous Patriot Act, Millions have been watching the systematic destruction of their constitutional rights and have been preparing to resist being dis-armed by an ever expanding Tyrannical State.
Barack Obarma Fears what the Armed population will do when the finacial collapse begins… He fears those Armed Citizens whom believe that Freedom and the constitution is worth fighting and dying for, and only hesitated from signing a UN global initiative which would violate the 2nd amendment because in doing so would have cost him his job in the coming elections.

Was is convenient Happenstance for Obama that Anton Lanza went on a shooting spree in Newtown Connecticut December 15? He Murdered 20 School children and 8 adults, provoking outrage among the General public and esp the Anti-Gun lobbies whom want to overthrow the 2nd amendment.

I find the idea incredulous, none the less using this Horrific event as a pretext, Barrack Obama and a bevy of Anti-gun Politicians have quickly moved to push for massive Gun restrictions, esp on Military style assault rifles… ie the sort of weapons that during a Civil War would be effective against the Government forces.
It has been reported that Anton Lanza did not use an assault rife in his killing spree, but several pistols. Police removed a rifle from the boot of his mothers car, yet this fact has not been allowed to hinder Obama and co, from pushing for Assault weapon ban.

My friend Johan’s story is on stuff today – well a small part of his story.
There are a few bits I’d like to comment on…
A former Barnardos counsellor is trying to sue police and Child, Youth and Family for defamation after they contacted his employer about unproven allegations that he touched some girls he was counselling.
Johan Aarts, 46, of Rotorua, says his career was destroyed when Barnardos was told of the allegations in 2006.
He has been fighting to clear his name ever since.
But Aarts suffered a setback in his attempt to sue the Crown departments last week, when a High Court judge in Rotorua granted a temporary stay of proceedings, mainly on the grounds that the case was still before the Employment Court.
Aarts has gone public with his story because he wants to send a warning to other men in counselling and teaching positions that police or CYF will contact employers even when investigations have found no evidence of inappropriate behaviour.
In 2006, two sisters, aged 12 and 13, alleged that Aarts had touched their legs, put his hand in one’s lap, cuddled them and put his head against theirs during domestic violence counselling sessions two years earlier.
It’s not clear if the children actually made these allegations – in fact the evidence that’s been released so far indicates that the Police and CYF made up these allegations after Barnardos decided to keep Johan on as an employee. One CYF document states “the children did not disclose any inappropriate behaviour”.
Aarts denied this, saying the only touching was the occasional pat of encouragement on the shoulder. CYF called police, who conducted an investigation.
In June 2006, Detective Matt McLeod wrote to Barnardos to say that, while there were “no disclosures from the girls in respect to criminal offences”, the girls had felt uncomfortable and scared.
He said police considered Aarts’ actions to be “very inappropriate” and he had warned Aarts that he needed to be careful about placing himself in situations where such allegations could be made.
Documents obtained under the Official Information Act by Aarts and his supporters show that CYF staff originally referred to Aarts as “the perpetrator” and the incidents as “substantiated sexual abuse”, until police advised that the alleged incidents did not amount to such. One internal document said: “It may be that he has not committed any crimes yet, but his behaviour has all the hallmarks of grooming and without a conviction and without advising any professional body, he could easily get a job elsewhere as a counsellor”.
CYF wrote to Barnardos, which it funds, reminding it of its responsibilities to protect children and asking what action it planned to take.
CYF said in the letter: “You will be aware that the police do not consider that Mr Aarts’ behaviour constitutes a criminal act, however this does not reduce the level of concern that CYF has.”
A Barnardos regional manager wrote back to say that Aarts had had regular supervision, no concerns had been raised about him previously and “like the police report, we were unable to prove any inappropriate behaviour took place. Johan continues to deny he has done, or would ever do, anything wrong”.
However, Barnardos no longer had confidence in “Johan’s professional boundaries” and his continued employment “could put children at risk”. Aarts was then sacked.
It was only after CYF threatened Barnardos’ funding reminded Barnardos of their responsibilities that Barnardos lost confidence in Johan.
Aarts took a case for unjustified dismissal to the Employment Relations Authority last year, but it was ruled that it was lodged too late. He appealed to the Employment Court, which will rule in March.
It took a long time to figure out what happened and there’s still more to figure out. State employees have been obstructive the whole way.

His defamation action also comes out of time, and he has asked the High Court for leave for it to be heard.
Crown lawyer Antoinette Russell said in submissions that if leave was granted, a qualified privilege defence would be run, which afforded protection to a person acting in good faith and without improper motive making a defamatory statement.
“There is a clear public interest in New Zealand police freely and frankly communicating with the employer of a counsellor who was alleged to have acted inappropriately towards children . . . and in CYF ensuring the bodies it funds . . . are meeting service standards.”
The Crown lawyer is arguing that what the Police say to your employer about you is “privileged” i.e. it should be kept secret from you. What the Crown Lawyer is arguing would deny people the opportunity to defend any accusations that the Police (or any state employee) made to an employer. Disgusting.
Aarts has been fighting for the release of the videotaped interviews with the children, because he believes they will show that the police did not provide an accurate account of what was said. Police have refused to release the tapes on privacy grounds.
The privacy grounds is BS. At one point Police National Head Quarters ruled that Johan could view the interviews then the Police District Commander prevented the viewing from happening. Now everybody is trying to prevent the viewing.
“Why is it that the police can contact my employer, make damaging statements about me, causing me to get sacked, but they don’t have to provide any evidence?”

Like all populist sensationalism which appears in the Media, the Hype has provoked the National government to act out of self interest resulting in a ‘socialist vs socialist’… Agenda vs Agenda situation… The National Party vs SuperCity Mayor.
Feigning Benevolence… with the aim of easing the extortionate rate of buying a home in Auckland Bill English has told Len Brown to ease council restrictions to free up land to be developed for housing… Or He will force the issue via legislation.
Super City Councilor Dick Quax put out a media release (Here) in approval of The government stepping in to force an easing of Council restrictions.
This is one of the rare occasions in which I too am in favour of Bill English using political coercion!
This coercion is aimed at forcing a tyrannical socialist council to loosen it’s grip.
it is a move which improves property rights (albeit ever so slight… It’s certainly not a fundamental reform)
Of course this artificial crisis offers Totalitarians like Brown both the the pretext, and the financial advantage to expand state housing… in the form of High-rise apartments… capitalizing on High rents in the city.

A prominent proponent of medicinal marijuana has been sentenced to 12 months’ home detention after being caught in an undercover police sting.
William Duffield McKee, 58, of Levin, was found guilty at a jury trial of four charges of selling cannabis and one of cultivation, and was today sentenced in the Palmerston North District Court.
McKee hosted the GreenCross website, which promoted the use of cannabis to prevent medical ailments.
He was targeted in Operation Relief between February 2010 and May last year – four times selling small amounts of cannabis and related material to an undercover police officer.
When police searched his house on July 8 last year they found 66 cannabis plants in various stages of growth.
Judge Barbara Morris today gave McKee credit for saying he would no longer push for political change about medicinal cannabis by selling the drug.
“You now accept that the change you seek must be done within the law and by way of submission,” she told him.
“You were not driven by commercial gain and to create a luxurious lifestyle.”
McKee’s right leg was amputated five years after he was the victim of a hit and run shortly before his 21st birthday.
A number of supporters watched from the court’s public gallery, and many held placards and handed out pamphlets outside the court.

Aucklanders Need to listen to what Councilors like Dick Quax, and how Auckland could be saved from this Socialist Nightmare, and the Kiwi dream restored by removing the Draconian restrictions on Land development… and allow the City to expand outwards. This will cause House prices to stabilize, and even make the construction of cheaper houses possible.
And with more space… everyone, esp the children will have a better quality of life than the Slum conditions, the heavy Rates bills, and the lack of personal transport which are all the inevitable consequence of Len browns implementation of Agenda 21.
