IMO Damien is probably New Zealand best freedom orientated political commentator who gets footage in the mainstream media, even though he often says things that get up my nose.
He is definitely an advocate of less government, yet frames his articles in such a way that his personal proclivity is not punching Fascists and Commies in the face… and that is why he gets published in the mainstream when few other Liberty minded people do.
Via his style he is able to squeeze in some very important Libertarian takes on thorny issues that otherwise never reach the public discourse, because he splices them seamlessly within the cloth that otherwise might appear to be congratulating the successes of the advocates of Totalitarianism (and it is an objective fact that Woke Far left activism is kicking arse and making us freedom advocates look like Chumps!).
Today’s article (link below) is a perfect example of this strategy.
It may be painful to read… but it’s 100% true… or at least 95% true.
Though in no way can it be said that Damien is an Anti-vaxxer, I don’t think it is a coincidence he penned this article now… after the Big Propaganda piece ‘Boiling Point’ much lauded by those who hate the Anti-covid lockdown protesters just dropped the other day.
IMO this is Damien’s stealthy impartial way of defending that historic and righteous protest… in principle.
The topic is participating in our nations democracy. Grant makes no mention as to why our particular brand of Democracy makes being ceaselessly active far more critical than it otherwise would be if we had an enlightened ever vigilant Liberty loving population who prided themselves on self-reliance, and an iron clad constitution that kept meddlesome power mad totalitarians in fetters.
Oh what such a blessed state of affairs that would be!
New Zealand was once a strong self-reliant population… the envy of the world… yet we have lost this and become a nation of woke sheeple begging for safe spaces and hand outs.
We should sit in sackcloth and ashes.
We have become consumed with envy. Men have become effeminate from decades of ease.
Our system of government… the unconstrained arbitrary powers of our parliament means none of our rights, liberties, or property are secure. We are being bleed dry via taxes. Any hysteria, or trend can and does move parliament to act rashly and swing a club.
When seeking to prevent any constitutional restraints being put on parliament Margert Wilson once called the status quo ‘Our wonderfully fluid system’… yeah right!

This is a youtube channel I have only just discovered. These people look like they have been the target of the system for a long time… over a whole raft of issues.
My first impressions are this guy appears to be a genuine advocate of self-reliance and independent living.

As I only found out about this Bill a few days ago, and leaned that the Public’s right to make submissions was also closing by midnight tonight, I made my own submission in haste, and for that reason it is not my best work by a long shot… and yet given how the Diabolical Engine of Comrade Ardern Steams forward, I simply had to submit something.
I have made a couple of spelling fixes to what I submitted… etc.
Some people might think my submission is whack.
I certainly know some of my ‘recommendations’ will be open to challenge in the sense that it might be a struggle for me to be able to justify them completely via Libertarian principles, and I am happy to discuss any criticisms on that basis… I simply have not had time to chew on these matters to the degree that I can offer a fully cogent argument. I was running on intuition that I will be able to defend most of what I have said.
I also decided I needed to be fully open about my religious views about what is at stake.
I realise many readers will take these views to completely discredit me as a serious thinker… you are entitled to your own opinion in that regard… yet I stand unapologetically by what I have said.

New Zealanders have been able to conduct plenty of business globally, and securely via the internet so we must ask… why all of a sudden does this government feel the need to pass this legislation?
Please spare me the trite about this being a genuine need and request by the people for such legislation.
The desire is not coming from the people… but from ideologues in power … with a nefarious agenda they are not prepared to openly admit.
This is about a grand scheme… a globalist centralisation of power and legimisation of the Global ID system into New Zealand Law.
Step by incremental step.
This ID system is the foundation for that planned Global Government, a Social credit system that discriminates every individual persons ‘privilege’s’ dependent on their compliance with the powers that be, and a new Global monetary system whereby all transactions are sanctioned, and monitored by the Evil Eye.
This is happening because our current financial systems have been driven into the ground, and yet the super wealthy, and powerful see this as an opportunity to further entrench their own Domination over the masses.
This Digital ID system is the basis for a planned New World order without privacy.

For example the New Zealand Bill of rights section 11 which state no New Zealander can be compelled to take medical treatments against their will… evidently this too Ardern sees not really as a right… but yet just another ‘privilege’ government temporarily entertained.. but now revokes… despite having publicly stated she would never do such a thing!
If a New Zealander does not own their own body… We have no rights!

It is Undemocratic because of the lack of public notification that this legislation is even eminent!
I guarantee that if a poll was taken that only a tiny percentage definitely in the single digits are even aware of what you Sneaky devils are up to!
And this is intentional on your part… you want to quietly enact this legislation… without the public catching on to what you are doing… because then you would face the anger of the people!
This legislation is part of *A Global framework* for a Global system… a New World Order!
This will underpin a new cashless Global financial system that is planned under the title ‘The Great Reset’.
And this makes what you are doing treasonous to the Nation of New Zealand and our National Independence and our Democratic Sovereignty.
Little New Zealand is well on the way to being swallowed up by the Globalist system.

I make the following recommendations… that will be ignored because you don’t care about the rights and Freedom of New Zealanders … or our independent National sovereignty… still… I ask that you make no laws that shall erode our right to use Cash, or to make private non-electronic transactions.
I ask that you make no laws that make having digital Ids compulsory.
I ask you expressly prohibit New Zealanders from being allocated any digital ID without their consent and make it illegal for any private companies operating in New Zealand to make subscribing to a global digital ID system as a mandatory condition for any business transaction.
I ask you absolutely prohibit any Global initiative to remove cash as a means of transactions.
I ask you make it absolutely illegal for Banks to freeze accounts on the basis that Citizens refuse to switch over to a cashless system, and make it law that all banks must continue to honor cash withdrawals, All businesses must accept cash, and all businesses and individuals must pay their employees in cash should they so desire it.
I ask that it be stipulated in law that no NZ Government agency can demand of any New Zealand citizen that they must accept and use a Digital ID to enjoy any of their rights, or to have full access to government services.
I stipulate these things to safeguard New Zealanders rights from being compelled into subjection to any globalist scheme designed to entrap individuals and prevent them from being able to participate in New Zealand society, to provide for themselves, to run businesses, to work, buy, and sell, unless they submit to the Global ID system and cashless society.
Failure to do these things will evidence the true intention of this Bill… to take away New Zealanders privacy and autonomy, and to ensnare us all in the New World order for which none of us have voted for.
Finally I state that it is without shame I make my submission as a Christian Libertarian.

I can only assume my friend finds Bill Burr’s reasoning compelling… as my friend find’s my ‘Ccnspiratorial mindset and hesitancy’ to be irrational.
My friend also thinks Biden is the legitimately elected president of the USA!

I like Bill Burr.
He’s a funny guy.
Ridicule is a legitimate means of attacking erroneous ideas and bad people, yet most thinking people realise you should not take your political cues from Comedians, Sports Personalities, etc without weighing up whether or not their opinions can withstand scrutiny.
Celebrity endorsements are of dubious value. Their opinions can be as valid, or as misguided as anyone else.
Bill chose to get the vax, and he even explains in a funny way why he discredits some of the ‘Conspiracy theories’.
Bill thinks the Mega Wealthy and Elites need ‘Sheeple’ like him… unthinking morons to do their bidding.
This was weak… The Trans-humanist Tech Lords don’t need him to dig their ditches… or most of the billions of now ‘obsolescent’ classes.
They want the world for themselves, and they only require a few hundered million… at best… to service their needs… the rest are just a gigantic pain in the arse… a threat to their power and ambitions.
And these people answer to no higher authority than their own desires.
Barr also said he knew people who died ‘of the virus’… and he undoubtedly also knows many people who have been vaccinated who appear ‘fine’.
That people he knows have died will have generated fear that would have played a big roll in his decision to get the shots, and undoubtedly stimulates many hesitant people to take the ‘leap of faith’ and get the vax even though it is an experimental tech the real results of which are presently unknown.
Just because people don’t all drop dead immediately after the shot (though many do… the number being suppressed) is not evidence the vax is safe in the long term… though many people seem to use that metric.
Yet even if the Frankenshots eventually turn out to be relatively safe, the most compelling ‘Conspiracy’ theories I know of have to do with a massive power grab… ending individual rights, and getting every person on earth registered onto a Global passport system to do ‘The Great reset’ and impose the NWO… a Technocracy… with a global Cashless economy and Social Credit systems… and that the Pandemic is merely the means by which this is to be achieved by spooking the sheeple into compliance and accepting the loss of rights…. and total control.
Now *that* is a fundamental theme in politics vs individual liberty… the price of which… is eternal vigilance… not fear driven compliance.
Let’s get back to Burrs conclusion that the ‘Depopulation Conspiracy’ is not credible.
He shows no cognizance of the Massive Malthusian propaganda campaign regarding overpopulation depleting the Earths resources and destroying the planet… which is yet again another Fear driven hysteria designed to ‘soften’ up the sheeple into accepting the end of Freedom and capitalism, and embracing a New Totalitarian control of the worlds resources (By Noble benevolent Socialists)

I was also tagged recently into a new article which gloated about an anti-Vax person died of the Rona.
This was supposed to be ‘evidence’ of the folly of rejecting the vax, lockdowns, etc.
It is as if those who take the vax think that those of us who make the choice not to get vaxxed are all idiots who think there is no risk in our decision.
Most of us appreciate there is a real risk involved and that it possible could cost us our lives.
We also know that probability is extremely small.
Still as NZ is in full lockdown right now, We ourselves are not impervious to the heightened sense of danger that a lockdown brings with it… the public fear that this ‘Delta variant’ might break out of containment and run rampant.
This alone will no doubt sway many ‘hesitant’ people into getting the shot… whereas I will stand firm and take my chances… because *Freedom*…. because I don’t think it is the principled thing to *get an experimental genetic modification experimental shot* simply in blind faith of the Government and big Pharma… out of fear.
I think that is a fools and cowardly thing to do.

It is highly probable Bill Burr is like the majority of pro-vaxers and is like my friend who challenged me to watch Burr’s interview ‘if I dare’… and yet this position is not ‘the scientific position’ or even ‘the informed position’… it is the heavily conditioned message… and position… that has been artificially created to corral the sheeple.
I call for an end to censorship of Covid 19 discussion, esp of medical experts who suffer persecution should they dare voice concerns about the vAxx,,, such as… Wellington Dr Matthew Shelton.
Only one opinion allowed. Good on this guy… takes Balls to stand up for your own conscience in such oppressive times. He is 100% right to be concerned about children and Pregnant woman getting the vax… in other times this was the normal precaution… yet they will try and make an example out of him so that other Doctors keep their mouths shut.
The Vax program is not about science, not about best medical practice… it’s about compliance to what the ‘Powers that be’ want.

This abuse is happening in key issues because we have people in power whose ambitions are not constrained by the principles and limits on power and authority that are fundamental to a Free society.
They do not respect freedom. They do not like having to deal with counter-argument. And the certainly do not like having to accept that free people might choose to reject their advice or schemes… which the powers that be claim are for ‘the public good’.
So many morons buy into that scam… believing that those free people who chose to reject the governments scheme… ‘are behaving foolishly, selfishly, and pose a danger to ‘all the good, selfless, and compliant sheeple who have placed their trust in the government.

Fauchi knew waaaaay back that the Covid 19 gene sequence had hallmarks of being the product of gene splicing yet worked like a devil to bury the idea that the virus had escaped from the Lab.
He had a personal vested interest to mislead the public.
He discussed this in emails, yet even before this became public knowledge independent thinkers had already asked this question, done the math; and concluded that it was too much of a coincidence that Covid 19 broke out just down the road from the Wuhan lab for that high probability to be ignored.

Despite this the Social media tech giants set about to silence the voices of questioning citizens and independent experts who wanted to debate such matters.
Fauchi’s opinions and Fauchi worship were the only narrative allowed to be aired.

A month ago we suffered a barrage of Mainstream media Fake news about an approaching Plague that was expected to devastate the world, and we all trembled in fear as the media spread all the false information, and so we prepared for the worst.
Still rather than immediately throwing our toys out of the cot chose instead to voluntarily comply with the new laws Ardern began to issue despite personally considering them unjust for the sake of solidarity and the fight against the coming menace.
At first it appeared she was going to take a bold minimalist approach for which I actually commended her, but then she jumped in Boots and all with a full blown Police State Lock down.
In the next few weeks into Lockdown with an increase in data, as we watched the statistics, it very soon became apparent Covid-19 was no where near as dangerous as we had been led to believe and that we had in fact been deceived.
Voices began to reveal how the original data we had been fed from Italy etc was seriously compromised with dubious processes and Copious quantities of Media sensationalism.

He says false statistics are being use to terrorize the citizens of Italy and establish a dictatorship.
I fully admit I myself watched such skewed new reports with Alarm and mobilised myself into action to prepare for the worst.
Still, at no time did I advocate or endorse any actions taken by Ardern that were a violation of Individual citizens rights.
I was involved in many discussion with others that identified and commented on her many violations, yet still I was willing to voluntarily comply with common sense practices like social distancing… yet this is in no way an endorsement of compulsion or tyrannical law and we reserved the right to protest at such a time as we could. First priorities being taking care of our families as the Pandemic landed on our shores.
Even at this early stage some of my smarter friends were already questioning this narrative and suggesting the economic consequences of what was being proposed was certainly something to be alarmed about.
The primary factor that scared the shit out of me about the Covid-19 threat was that it originated in Wuhan … where China’s Bio-warfare lab is located.
The Problem is that there was no way to take China’s claim that the virus was of natural origin as gospel because their Tyrannical regime cannot be trusted.
They were in fact implementing a pogrom to cover up the facts…. Whistle blowers were ‘disappearing’.
The Chinese Regime is EVIL!
Over a period of weeks last month… before our lockdown… News reports were describing an escalating crisis in Italy of nearly 1000 deaths per day, and we also saw Social media flooded with pics of supermarket shelves being emptied… whole Cities were being quarantined,
Convoys of Trucks were sanitisng the Streets in China and reports of a full scale National emergency about to be announced and Lock down… for months…. It sure looked to me like China had accidentally leaked a Bio=weapons grade WMD… and that I had better prepare for the worst.
Despite claims that the virus came from the ‘wet market’ 25km away from the highest security Virus Laboratory in Asia, I could not bring myself to have any confidence in that as being a fact.
I am fully aware that Natural pandemics (such as the Spanish flu) can be absolutely Ravenous, yet I still believe that I would have been far less alarmed had the virus started in any other city than Wuhan.
I could not shake the fear that Covid-19 was a genetically modified… Potentised… weapon.
Empirical facts that eventuated show us our fears were unfounded, yet a healthy skepticism still questions the offical narrative about the origin and nature of Covid-19 as simply from Bats at a ‘Wet Market’.
The Wet market provides a very convenient cover story… though it is statistically improbable that the Market is the true origin rather than the lab.
If you wanted to artificially create panic, having a Pandemic break out from the same neighborhood as a Viral Bio-weapons Lab will surely do the trick!
If you wanted to generate a global panic to allow the introduction of Compulsory Vaccination… this would be how you would do it.
Irrespective of whether or not your mind is as suspicious as mine, it remains clear that Western Governments like New Zealand (further fueling Pubic hysteria) Usurped oppressive Emergency powers and implemented lock downs from a complete lack of solid information about the virus (ignorance), and the perceived potential Plague level Carnage it was about to unleash (based upon seriously Skewed Bad Data).
The True facts became clearer several weeks later.
Covid-19 is in reality no more dangerous then the common Flu.
The world had been fed false Data generating Panic, and as such the lockdowns were a massive and costly mistake.
A massive economic and social catastrophe is now unfolding as a direct result of Stupendous and gratuitous government over-reaction!
We should have been come out of lockdown at least 2 weeks ago.
There was truckloads of Data and expert opinion by then that made this clear and Ardern’s failure to admit her mistake and immediately end the lockdown is a true testimony to her absolute lack of Good Leadership qualities.
Three facts of reality about Lockdown are.
1. It is an economic disaster,
2. The Lock down involves Tyrannical laws that violate our rights and Liberties and empower a Police State…. people getting arrested for Non-crimes.
3. It is ultimately a futile gesture because unless a nation stays perpetually in lockdown with closed boarders the Virus will ride back into the country via the boarder.
The only solution is to gain herd immunity… ie weather the storm in freedom as we do with the Flu and bear the cost… as we do with the Flu.
This does not mean *there are no actions* we can take to shield the most vulnerable… like Isolating Old folks homes, etc when these sorts of things appear, and plenty of other wise moves …. all that help… none that require making Ardern Absolute Ruler… the one painful lesson we must take away from all this is that the government must be prevented from usurping unjust powers and sabotaging our economy, and making criminals out of innocent people who refuse to surrender their rights!
We must protect free speech at all costs so that we maintain the right to critisise the Government and the established vested interests of the medical cartel and defend the ability of Free thinkers and Renegade medical professionals to talk to the public so that we still get to hear their views.
Only that way can we make smart decisions about our own health and well being… having access to *all* the information and arguments… not just the arguments *The State* wants you to believe.
That is how a free country with free people functions… taking personal responsibility for your own lives.
The opposite is a Police State… and tyranny… the sort of people who prefer that are the scared sheep who dont want to carry the responsibility of thinking for themselves and instead *want to be told what they must do*… by an all powerful Nanny State.
These are also the ‘Collaborators’ with the all powerful State who *hate seeing other people not living in fear like they are… and choosing instead of submission to exercise their legitimate rights… and in this situation it would have been businesses that would have stayed open, etc.
And the thing is that when you have a free society that keeps the government in check and keeps people responsible for their own health and well being, *those who want to practice extreme isolation* may do so… they simply cant force everyone else to do the same… yet they can still *persuade* others… and that is how a free society works… by reason… by persuasion… not but draconian laws…. not by compulsion…. not by silencing voices of dissent.
Ardern has not saved us… she has dealt us a horrific blow and has Fooled the gullible into worshiping her heavy hand.

The Covid-19 hysteria and tyranny is a perfect example of why Free speech is so vital and also why Liberty in medical matter is also essential now that we are hearing calls for the state to pass legislation for compulsory vaccinations.
Just last year… well before Covid-19 was world news, I contributed to a book on the war on Free speech in New Zealand called ‘Free Speech Under Attack’ (Tross Publishing), in which I made commentary on how Free speech is vital on the subject of vaccinations as is our right to refuse vaccinations for our selves and our children if we deem the persevered advantages are outweighed by the risk… this portion follows below

One of my wife’s cousins had a catastrophic reaction to the Rubella shot and was crippled… and died young .
It has been proven that these adverse reactions can be a hereditary disposition thus Families are going to be far more aware of such propensities within their own kin than politicians who dont give a crap about such things and only care about their own tyrannical dictates… that they think are for the public good.
And most importantly via the right to free speech it is the right of those who believe vaccinations are dangerous to publicly make their case… and it is evil for the government to censor them.”

I will be the first to admit this would be a very testing time to be in Government.
A very testing Time for NZ PM Jacinda Ardern.
The greatest enemy actually being *ignorance*… so little being known.
Having to make decisions based largely upon conjecture… dubious computer models, etc.
The tendency in such times is usually to er on the side of caution, yet as time passes more data become available and a good leader should be looking to modify their plans as new Data suggests that is the prudent course.
She appears unable to do so.
Ignorance is no excuse for trampling over the rights and liberties of the citizens or destroying the economy!
Where did she get the idea that such heavy handed action was her right as PM to take?
The Minister of Health David Clark also deceived the NZ Public when he insisted the government had sufficient test kits available. Ardern perpetuated that myth too.
In reality there was a serious lack of test kits resulting in dire under-testing of symptomatic people .. many people were turned away who turned out to have the virus.
We can be thankful that it appears Covid-19 is no where near as lethal as was feared just a few weeks ago when Italy was in Crisis.
They should have been honest about this lack of test kits from the beginning.
New Zealand had gotten off very lightly so far, yet rather than this being a consequence of Arderns great leadership… I suggest it has in fact been in spite of her many grievous failings.
Covid-19 has presented the world with many moral dilemmas and it is in such times that an apprehension of some of the deepest Moral precepts and conundrums comes into play.
Ends…. and Means.
Just because she has usurped the power to act as she has done… does not mean she had the moral right or legitimate authority to do so, and in the years that follow… will she be held accountable for the misery and hardships her actions will bring… or the loss of rights and liberties that will flow in her wake?
Will the people of New Zealand accrue a tally on her account for any spike in Suicides, etc that ensue?
Probably not…
Yet still contemplate the following….

I say it would be more honest if these Ads were instead a video of a Gruff Uniformed Male Police Chief stipulating the The Law… in a manor as if they are addressing a crowd of unruly Teenagers upon whom they are seeking to make clear *the Real nature of these Dictates.*… saying it for Example like thus…
“You will obey these rules… or else!”
“They are not optional!”
“We the Police will enforce this Lock down!”
“Anyone caught breaking the rules will be severely punished!”

Well, to talk about Ayn Rand (or Jesus) and not get bogged down, it helps to have specific quotes and to also put them into the proper context. True?
Personally, I consider Charity to be a virtue — provided it’s not tainted by the Kantian notion of altruism (which, despite the modern Church’s reliance on this evil concept, is in fact a post-Christian and anti-Christian invention of Auguste Comte from the 1830’s).
As for “selfishness” as a motive … that term, in Ethics, usually refers to a bad motive.
Calling someone “selfish” usually means that they’re benefiting themselves — even when it’s at the expense of others. And they’re benefiting themselves in a way that’s indifferent to other people.
Yet, there is nothing in Ayn Rand’s fiction or non-fiction that advocates or esteems THAT kind of “selfishness”.
On the contrary, being “selfish” in the Ayn Rand sense — as she explained in The Virtue of Selfishness and encapsulated in her saying: “There are no conflicts of interests among rational men”.
Not to mention the whole model of Free Market Capitalism.
It is true, however, that Objectivism tends to underrate the value and virtue of Charity.
When a writer uses a word (or an expression) it’s important to understand what THE WRITER meant by that word (or expression).
When Jesus says “Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s” … we need to study what Jesus meant.
For instance he didn’t mean (as one of my colleagues recently argued) that Jesus is a supporter of taxation and “Big Government”.

Prodos, I think you have a better grasp than the average Objecitivist because you differ from the average in two aspects.
1. You dont have an innate hatred of religion and so you dont ‘need’ to ‘prove’ it is ‘Evil’… and that gives you a far more objective view when discussing such matters, and (2) this is a corollary (or complimentary) of the fact that you are not afraid to diverge from the Orthodox dogma of the Cult.
Now One of the reasons I accuse Rand of Sophistry is because she trains her disciples to Bastardise the English language by arrogantly abandoning accepted meaning of terms… Re-defining words to mean something other than what they have been historically understood to mean and then proceeds to pretend she can prove the whole world was wrong … *and that she is some sort of Mega-genius* when in fact she is a fraud who has literally re-written the rules.
…often giving terms the very opposite meaning… and most importantly… she has ‘Pre-loaded’ the new meanings so that they will now appear to mathematically add up to the conclusion she wants to achieve… eg ‘that selfishness is now ‘a virtue’…. Objectivists dont even speak the same language… they are disconnected from the historical dialogue and dont even realise they have been swindled… mainly because they share Rands hatred of Christianity and are consumed by their own Egos… and think they too are super geniuses… ‘John Galts’ far above the average savage…. I think think he is is a very interesting, and intelligent Man… a Champion of Liberty… a Man of Reason… who in my opinion avoids sycophantic Rand worship.

Despite the fact that Long Blog posts are unpopular, I do need to make one further clarification, and that is to say that though Christianity regards Charity as one of the highest virtues, and that People tend to associate this as a mentality common among left leaning political supporters, that it is a grievous error to automatically assume this means Christians ought to be socialists!
The notion that Christ was a socialist has been around for a long time, yet was systematically propagated and grew predominant among Western Christians in the 20th century when Communists infiltrated the churches and began to systematically sway Christians into supporting socialism… despite their Nations Prosperity,Freedom and capitalism being founded upon Christian protestant political reforms and values of Individual Rights, Private property, Hard work, Thrift, Voluntary charity, Honest Free-trade, etc.
This is quite a complex conundrum to untangle, yet when properly understood the confusion and false teaching gives way to definite clarity and broad understanding.
The Key is to understand the dispensational scheme of the scriptures and how things fit in properly with the plan of God.
Reading the Bible there are verses in the Gospels, and early Acts that appear to the unlearned to support the idea that Jesus was anti-wealth and promoted ‘Communism’… yet such an interpretation fails to take into account what Jesus was offering the Jews at the time, and that these instances… such as when he told the Rich young man to sell all his possessions and give the money to the poor… and follow him… are not representative of the future Kingdom Christ had come to establish but was a special time of transition … from the Kingdom of Mammon… into the Messianic Kingdom of God on Earth whereby these injunctions were tests of worthiness to enter his kingdom… repentance for rebellion and sin… and a willingness to forsake the gains achieved under Mammon.. wealth… power… social status… and to enter the kingdom ‘Naked’… fully trusting that Christ would reward them when he had overthrown the Romans and established his rule in Jerusalem.

A far more Libertarian and enlightened Character and charter needs to be set and presented to the voting public…one in which Libertarianism is expounded that shows Liberty is far more compassionate and Humane than Socialism ever was… and when you Look a a guy like Prodos Marinakis and his moderated style of Objectivism compared to the Rabid Rand worshiping Egoist and Millitant Atheists… the contrast is stark.
Its the difference between an enlightened and Tolerant, and thinking Libertarian… from an indoctrinated Fanatical Zealot of a God hating Cult of selfish arseholes!

When Judgement day comes for Any Rand she will be exposed as a fraud… In Reality she was not Great at all but a Delusional Woman full of the worst Character traits… and her toxic beliefs bring out the worst in those that are deceived by her.
Fortunately there are some New Zealand Objectivists and Libertarians who share the same virtues as Prodos… those that are prepared to think for themselves more and quote Rand less.
Any New party would need to maintain a separation of the Church of Ayn Rand and State… as much as a separation of any other personal ideology.
This is where hope lies and could be the basis for Cooperation between Libertarians of all persuasions.
Getting things all in their correct context and this way Libertarianism will have a much broader appeal… including winning Christians and others out of Socialism and into supporting Freedom where they ought to be. This will only happen when Egoism, and Atheism, and Selfishness are not the defining traits of the Libertarian party… But Enlightened tolerance and adherence to just principles, equality before the Law, and a desire to downsize Government and abolish unjust tyrannical laws and taxes… “He who governs best… governs least”. Here is the back story.
In the pre-Revolutionary era, British courts in London secretly issued general warrants to British government agents in America. The warrants were not based on any probable cause of crime or individual articulable suspicion; they did not name the person or thing to be seized or identify the place to be searched. They authorized agents to search where they wished and seize what they found.
The use of general warrants was so offensive to our Colonial ancestors that it whipped up more serious opposition to British rule and support for the revolutionaries than the “no taxation without representation” argument did. And when it came time for Americans to write the Constitution, they prohibited general warrants in the Fourth Amendment, the whole purpose of which was to guarantee the right to be left alone by forcing the government to focus on bad guys and prohibit it from engaging in fishing expeditions. But the fishing expeditions would come.
In 1978, Congress passed the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA), which was intended to rein in the government spying on Americans that had been unleashed by the Nixon administration. FISA established a secret court and permitted it to issue warrants authorizing spying on agents of foreign governments when physically present in the United States.
People born in foreign countries who are here for benevolent or benign or even evil purposes have the same constitutional protections as those of us born here. That’s because the critical parts of the Constitution that insulate human freedom from the government’s reach protect “persons,” not just citizens. But FISA ignored that…

The right of the people to keep and bear arms is an extension of the natural right to self-defense and a hallmark of personal sovereignty. It is specifically insulated from governmental interference by the Constitution and has historically been the linchpin of resistance to tyranny. Yet the progressives in both political parties stand ready to use the coercive power of the government to interfere with the exercise of that right by law-abiding persons because of the gross abuse of that right by some crazies in our midst.
When Thomas Jefferson wrote in the Declaration of Independence that we are endowed by our Creator with certain unalienable rights, he was marrying the nation at its birth to the ancient principles of the natural law that have animated the Judeo-Christian tradition in the West. “Whilst I cannot speak with authority regarding the rest of the country, Matabeleland is in the grips of one of the worst droughts we have suffered since 1991/1992. Aside from the poor rainfall, temperatures have soared. Whatever crops were planted after early rains have frazzled and are generally a total write off. Even if it rains now crop yields across the entire country will be markedly lower than normal.
Poor people are telling me that their relatives in rural areas are already short of food, if not starving. There is little sign that the government is doing anything about the growing crisis. Robert Mugabe and his family flew out to the Far East on holiday just before Christmas as if nothing was wrong. The State controlled newspapers are largely silent about the growing crisis. Yesterday when I first raised the issue on twitter all I got from the only ZANU PF Minister who is regularly on twitter – Jonathan Moyo – was his usual torrent of abuse.
The fact is that this is potentially a far worse crisis than we have ever experienced before. When we last had a drought of this magnitude in 1992 the Grain Marketing Board was better run and our silos were much fuller. For the last 15 years the GMB has been run inefficiently and corruptly. During the same period commercial farmers have been hounded off their land in pursuit of ZANU PF’s deleteriously bad land policies, in the process removing many of those with the skills to fully exploit our irrigation dams in commercial farm areas. Sadly although communal land farmers are excellent dry land farmers, when rains fail their yields plummet, which is precisely what is happening this year. Fly over Zimbabwe today and you will still see dams throughout the country in former commercial farm areas which still have substantial quantities of water in them, but which are lying unutilized. In other words there is little domestic fall back capacity as there was before.
What compounds the situation even further is that the entire region is facing a similar drought and countries such as Zambia and South Africa will need all of their own production to feed their own people. One thing we can be certain of is that ZANU PF’s so called “all weather friends”, Russia and China will not provide any significant food aid – they never have before and have little capacity to do so now. This means we will have to turn to countries such as the USA for assistance. We will have to import from other continents which takes time and costs a lot of money, neither of which we have.
The sooner this is declared to be what it is – a national emergency – the better. Mugabe needs to come home from the Far East; he is leader of this nation and all leaders need to be with their people in times of crisis. We need Ministers in the rural areas assessing the crisis. We need the appropriate Ministers flying to countries with food reserves to secure food supplies. We need to alert the international community that people will starve if funding isn’t mobilised. In short we need action, not an Ostrich mentality.
Finally we need to address the root causes of our failure to be able to feed ourselves in times of drought. Firstly we need to clean up the GMB and appoint competent and honest people to run it. Secondly we need to recognise that all Zimbabweans must be allowed to farm. The current racist policy of denying white Zimbabweans with skills the right to farm must end. Whilst tragically very few white commercial farmers are left in the country those who are still here and who have the skills to grow crops must be allowed to farm. Thirdly we need to invest more in programmes such as Foundation for Farming which promote zero tillage agriculture, which has been proven to produce greater yields in drought conditions. Fourthly we need to end the hostile rhetoric directed against the very countries which in all likelihood will now come to our assistance. We need to cooperate with those countries so that they invest in our Nation rather than shun us.
Finally we all need to pray that the good Lord will have mercy on our land.”
