The Australian Jewish Association (AJA) is urging all Members of Parliament to reject the draft ‘hate speech’ bill

AJA CEO Robert Gregory said:

“Antisemitism has surged in Australia under the Albanese Government, and it is clear that decisive action is required. While the proposed bill contains some potentially useful measures, the manner in which it is being rushed through Parliament is deeply concerning.

This process denies Australians the opportunity to properly scrutinise and comment on legislation of significant consequence. I have spoken with members of the Jewish community who are shocked that measures purportedly designed to protect them are being introduced without genuine consultation. The Australian Jewish Association was invited to make a submission but was given less than two days to do so, despite the significance of this legislation.

The Government’s haste is particularly offensive given its failure to act on the Segal Report, which was handed to it in July 2025 by the Special Envoy on Antisemitism, an envoy the Government itself appointed.

It is also unclear what problem this bill is intended to solve. The Bondi Beach Chanukah massacre was allegedly motivated by radical Islamic ideology, yet the proposed legislation goes out of its way to avoid confronting that reality. By excluding radical Islamic extremism, it is difficult to see how this legislation will have any impact on preventing future Bondi-style attacks. If the legislation is expanded, as expected, it could perversely result in victims being prosecuted for criticising the ideology that inspired the violence against them.

Furthermore, the bill’s carve-out for hate preachers fatally undermines its effectiveness.

There are serious concerns that the Government intends to expand this bill to cover additional ‘protected attributes’, potentially criminalising the sincerely held views of many Australians, particularly people of faith. Ironically, many of the victims of the Bondi Beach attack were religious Jews whose traditional beliefs may themselves fall foul of future expansions of this legislation. For that reason, this bill will rightly be seen as an attack on religious freedom.

Any government that proposes to criminalise speech must act in a sober, cautious, and bipartisan manner. Governments should concern themselves only with the most egregious forms of speech, such as direct incitement to violence. This bill risks regulating subjective opinions and relies on vague concepts such as ‘intimidation’. Australia risks heading down the same path as the United Kingdom, where thousands of people are arrested each year merely for expressing opinions.

I am deeply concerned that invoking the Jewish community as the justification for this deeply flawed bill will, in fact, lead to an increase in antisemitism.

I have consulted with leaders from other religious organisations, and they share these concerns. Legislation of this magnitude must command broad community support. Australians, both Jewish and non-Jewish, must be given the opportunity to have their voices heard. I urge all Members of Parliament to reject this bill.”

My Commentary….
Just as I believe the case was with NZs Radical Globalist PM Jacinda Ardern and her Gun Confiscation legislation which immediately dropped just days after the Christchurch Terror attack,
Many Australians believe the Albanese Labour Regime has had their 500 page draft legislation… ‘The Combatting Antisemitism, Hate and Extremism Bill 2026’… that outlaws criticism of his governments immigration policies, and bans the patriotic fervor of Australians for their own heritage and culture was sitting ready to go in a draw waiting for the opportunity to rush it through into law.

Like Ardern, Albanese has attempted to use The murderous Terror attack on Jews at Bondi by Islamic extremists as pretext to call parliament back into session early so as to push through this absolutely shocking piece of legislation into Law before the people of Australia have time to rally against it.

The Bill is supposed to combat Antisemitism.
It does nothing of the sort.

Thankfully… due to outrage expressed on the Social Media platform X none of the other parties in the Australian parliament are prepared to support his bill… and as you can see (above statement)… not even the Jewish community supports it.

The above statement by the Australian Jewish Association clearly states that the bill utterly fails to address Islamic extremism which was the key factor involved in the Bondi Attack, and also the legislation is a violation of Australians Rights, and Religious liberty including the religious liberty of Australian Jews!

The proposed legislation is being described as even worse than what the Starmer Regime has enacted in Britain under which 12000 Britons exercising their legitimate rights have been arrested for newly enacted ‘Speech crimes’.

It’s easy to appreciate why Albanese’s legislation is completely devoid of prohibitions against Islamic Extremism and hate because the last thing he wants is legislation that imposes an obligation on Australian Police to start arresting Islamic migrants within whom Antisemitism is rife!

Why have these arseholes forgotten about the separation of Church and State?
Islamic ideology is not compatible with a free and civil society.
While small numbers of individual Muslims might be able to live peacefully within the Christian West (Christianity being the predominant ethos upon which Western Civilisation is founded and from whence most of it’s culture takes its form) There is no way can Islam be allowed to influence the Government and laws of the nation.

While in past decades via Controlled immigration Societies with Christian values have shown great tolerance towards Muslims who have made Western countries their home, allowing them freedom of worship and to build Mosques and this has been largely a success, yet in the past decade with The Globalist agenda to swamp western Nations with waves of Foreign Aliens who do not adhere to the same enlightenment principles in an attempt to disolve the foundations of western civilisation and redude them into some Globalist Multicultural mire The Political class has been systematically entrenching their people in key social institutions such as the Courts, the Police, etc and systematically suppressing public protest. systematically suppressing Citizens from exercising their Religious freedoms and rights… under the malicious agenda of ‘social cohesion’.

Yet let’s be clear about this… they will come back again and again until they get what they want *unless* some constitutional Legislation is framed that specifically and permanently outlaws this and establishes the fundamental right of citizens not to be assimilated into any such means of Absolute control or Social credit system.

This needs to be coupled with an Iron clad right to privacy which prevents Banks spying on what citizens are spending their money on, or from being able to demand to know what large withdraws of cash are being used for. The right to use cash must also be constitutionally guaranteed.

Governments must also be constitutionally barred from attempts to impede free speech on line.
This has become an essential right to defend freedom from tyrannical agendas.

Then there is the violations of privacy from setting up surveillance cameras on every street corner. There must be legislative protections that forbid governments from using these to imprison individuals from freedom of movement (outlaw the concepts of 15min cities- Carbon limits, etc)

All these legislative moves are required because of massive leaps in technology that Governments and corporations have been deploying against us without mandate from We the people… implementing Tech programs that exponentially increase government and corporate power at the expense of the peoples Rights and liberties.

All the legislative changes I’m suggesting are all *Limits to State and Corporate intrusions* of Citizens lives the absence of which has allowed totalitarian designs and agendas to be devised and rolled out taking advantage of the Void of protective limits on the use of technology.

New Zealand First has today introduced a Member’s Bill that would protect New Zealanders’ ability to use cash. The Bill will provide for the enduring use of cash as a private, accessible, and reliable method of payment.

“People who rely on cash due to barriers to digital banking deserve assurance that cash will be preserved in the increasingly digital world”, New Zealand First Leader Winston Peters’ says.

The “Cash Transactions Protection Bill” would mandate vendors in trade to accept cash payments for goods valued up to $500.

The Bill acknowledges that cash is a critical tool for vulnerable populations like those in
rural communities, the elderly, and low-income earners who may experience barriers to digital banking. It mandates that vendors accept cash payments and have sufficient cash infrastructure to support access to cash and its circulation.

The New Wave of Far Right populism have been sowing confusion in Political discourse with their attempts to distance themselves from Nazism.
They have been busy online seeking to convince the Masses that the Nazis were ‘far left’ and they use the term ‘socialism’ as proof… yet this is not the case… you can have socialism of the Lefty and socialism of the right.

This notion that the Nazis belong on the Left side of the spectrum comes from the Modern populist Far Right seeking to distance themselves from Nazism.
They dupe the ignorant by pretending the term *Socialism* is fundamentally a leftist term. That is historically false.
You can have socialism of the Left, and socialism of the right. This distinction was clear in the 1940s when you had the Nazis and fascists on one side and the Communists on another…. and the Free Protestant Christian Capitalist nations of the British Commonwealth, USA etc.

The Nazis are Far Right.
The Communists are Far left.
They hate each other.
It’s bonkers you guys don’t understand the Difference.
Communism The State owns the means of production (no private industries/ no Private property).
Fascism is where some private industry (and property) is allowed (Schindler, Krupp, IG Farben), as long as they comply with State regulations (Crony capitalism)… and the State is Totalitarian in Nature.
When you understand these definitions you then can analyze to what degree different economies are Communist or Fascist or mixtures of both.
Only to the degree that an economy is Laissez faire ‘Hands off’… Truly Freemarket… can it be said to be Capitalist.
Virtually all Western Nations have *Mixed economies* and heavily regulated industries which most closely embody the Fascist model. When regulations are repealed that is a move towards a freer… more capitalist market.
This is Economics 101.

Communism is Socialism of the Left.
Fascism is socialism of the Right.
Under both views The State is what matters.
The individual may be sacrificed to the will of the State.
When States Nationalize Property or industries that is a move Left towards Communism.
Communism is ultimately economically untenable… so too is Fascism… yet because it contains some elements of Market economics it is a slower death.
The USSR imploded.
China saw this and is abandoning Communism and embracing Fascism… which means they retain totalitarian power… yet ultimately that model will collapse too.
Same with the US and all economies in which the State takes on Parts of society that ought to remain Free and outside political control.
This is why All western nations are Taxing their citizens to death and borrowing massive amounts, and teeter on the very of collapse.
Libertarians Understand all this.
We know what are the legitimate functions of government… and they are few indeed.
Small government leaves the people free to build their own prosperity, and live according to their own conscience.

It is vitally important we do not allow the confusion being generated by the Psychopaths of the Far Right to prevail.
When the meanings of terms gets confused or changed by those seeking to subvert the truth, this creates a disconnect from the historical narrative that only benefits Evil.
An example of this is the Term ‘Liberal’ which used to mean the politics of individual rights and freedom (Classical Liberalism) yet the term was allowed to be hijacked by the Left and morphed into meaning the politics of Big Socialist government… rendering the term unusable in it’s original context and creates the delusion that the original enlightened benefits of early Liberalism were somehow *socialist* in nature! That is False.
So then the Word *Libertarian* was coined to replace the now corrupted term Classical ‘Liberal’.

Fascism is Historically denoted to be *Far Right* distinguishing it from Communism.

There is a lot of focus on the ‘evils’ of immigration… When large numbers of peoples ‘less civil’ Murder, rape, and steal. Yet that is not the only ‘threat’ a native population might face from ‘immigration’.
When a people with greater work ethics colonise your country… watch out! they will out perform you. And your children will end up working for their children.

This explains a lot about what happened when the British showed up here in NZ. It was not via oppression and racism that they took over… but because of their work ethics and other superior values that caused them to prosper…

Migrants who are prepared to sweat and toil, and live frugally … will Conquer all… not via evil… but because of their superior virtues… They grind harder.. they are more thrifty… they out entrepreneur your children…. whose fault is that?
You forget the price of Freedom and prosperity?
You got soft. You got apathetic. You forgot the ethics of your Christian pioneering heritage.
You deserve to wane.
Had you raised your children to be worthy… there would be no such threat.
