I sit on the fence… not because I dont have an opinion…. but because I say *Both sides* have malignant Ideas mixed with some Righteous outrage… Both have Blame…. both are responsible for the troubles… Both need to get their shit together.
I will start with my criticism of the Police… because they are supposed to walk the high road and set an example of Character and Justice, and when the Police become Brutal, Unjust, and corrupt… this is an absolute catastrophe for the society.
This being so I believe *When a Policeman is accused of committing a crime*… this must be openly and thoroughly investigated so that the people can see the process is not slopped in favor of allowing Bad police to escape justice… and when found guilty… because of the professional Responsibility they have in our society… they should face *Heavier penalties* than Civilians who commit the same offences.
They are supposed to be well Trained legal professionals… brave… and of high character… which implies that they care about the people in the communities they serve… and when they commit a Crime… they are betraying the trust that our society places on their uniform.
What is also means is that *The Legal machinery that investigates and prosecutes Bad Police* must be scrupulously independent of the police themselves… and this includes *the attitudes of the Judiciary*, must be above reproach… ie Not be seen to convict defendants simply upon the statements of Police, or excuse criminality perpetrated by the Police.
Thus Like the Police… the Legal system must be transparently Just …. anything less and the people loose faith in justice… and Chaos and dis-order ensues.
Policeman must fear the Judiciary, knowing that they themselves are not above the Law, and will held to account with the full weight of the Law should they cross the line.
*None of this is happening* So it is not surprising that with the advent of The Cellphone Video camera, countless videos are steaming on line of absolutely abominable crimes being committed by police against ordinary people… grand mothers, Young men, etc.
This behavior is nothing new, but today the police are being caught on video.
Yet still… even with video evidence and multiple witnesses most of these corrupt police escape justice…
Some places insist their officers wear body Cams… and these precincts witness a drop in complaints against police for obvious reasons… the police behave better when they are carrying a video that will be examined by their superiors.
I agree with Ex Cop David Champion that one of cost effective things that could be done to help stop Police criminality is to issue all Police on the Beat with Body Cams, and *Any violence, police shootings, etc* that officers say ‘their cameras fell off’… etc should automatically call their version of events int question, and cause high suspicion of Criminality on their part.
Police, etc, cannot be lawfully allowed to withhold footage from independent investigators, or the press, without some sort of judicial process for special cases.
When Faith in the Justness of the Law, The Police, and the Courts has been corroded… Chaos ensues… police will start getting shot more often.
When Faith in the Justness of the Law, The trustworthiness of the Police, and the Fairness and integrity of the Courts is high… the People will be happy… the people will think of the Police as they ought…their friends…. and they will trust that Bad Police will not be tolerated, but will face the consequences of their evil deeds.
*This is what is conducive to civil order*
*This is what will attract the best people of the highest character* into the Police force… as a High vocation of service to their communities…. which is what the Police force is Ideally meant to represent… instead of what it has become… A gang of Lawless thugs whom perpetrate extreme violence and thuggery with impunity.

I must add this one particular comment on the Law itself…. *End the War on Drugs*…. This is a Law and order Disaster that fosters extreme violence by the Police … sanctioned by society… that can be reciprocated by those involved in the Drug trade.
Just as Alcohol Prohibition gave rise to Al Capone, Police Corruption, and Machine Gun Massacres… The War on drugs has repeated the grievous injustices and chaos.
Ending Prohibition ended so much unnecessary violence and chaos from both sides of the Law.
It is that only the willfully ignorant say that the police are the good guys… Countless videos on line testify to how lawless and thuggish they have become… and of course a Natural social backlash is in progress.
It is right that there is Public outrage about the un-justifiable killing and brutality of police, and The Police do need serious Cultural reforms… yet still… Outrage cannot justify the sorts of shocking behavior that is being perpetrated …Rioting, Looting, and Cop Killing.
Political Organisations like ‘Black lives Matter’ have sprung up with their own agendas… and to the degree that they seek to highlight a systemic problem within the police, they are to be commended and supported, yet sadly such organisations appear to be filled with *Racists themselves*… Blacks whom call whites ‘Crackers’… and who are taking opportunity to vent their personal prejudices and to Excuse the most lawless and despicable behavior under the guise of ‘Protesting Police brutality… Police Racism…. Etc’
They are conspicuous in their silence when Police brutalize or murder white people… obviously this does not fit well with *their Narrative that Police brutality is focused on Blacks*
These people claim to be a Civil rights movement, yet by their actions they Betray the ideals and values of the Great Black Civil rights activists of History…. Martin Luther King, Booker T Washington, Frederick Douglas… whom refused to dish up Racism for Racism… Hate for Hate…. but instead preached Unity, and Brotherhood *with White America*.
Furthermore ‘Black lives matter’, and many in the Media *Fail to identify the massive Cultural deviancy* that is behind the dire social statistics of the Black demographic…. and Falsely attribute the Lions share of the causes underpinning the squallar, unemployment,and crime which are characteristic of Black neighborhoods *on Racism*…rather than an absolute lacking of Personal ethics and good values on their own part.
It is all very well to expect the Police to walk the highest path… and set the standard for virtue…. yet when you have Black communities that are so violent and crime ridden… filled with all the absolute Mind rotting Gangsta Rapp… It is not surprising that having walked the beat for years… that many Police carry suspicion 24/7 against Swagger Cap wearing Jeromes, and have one finger on the trigger at all times.
The Police are *human*…. and they get sick and tired of the Getto Bullshit that so many Gang Bangas dish out that it is all too easy to treat *Them all* as scum…. when only perhaps 75% of the are…
These hypocrites running ‘Black lives matter’, are to a large degree *Rasists themselves*… they are willing to destroy their cities when a Policeman shoots an unarmed boy in a case of mistaken identity … yet never hit the streets to protest against the thousands of Little Homies who get shot by other little homies.

I was proud to ride with a group of conscientious Bikers who took time off work and braved the wind and rain to ride for Justice for Moko… a Beautiful three year old boy who endured horrendous treatment at the hands of Adults whom were entrusted with his care… and was robbed of his life.
Today, all through the country Kiwis gathered outside their local courthouses as this is the Day his Killers are to be sentenced for their unspeakable wickedness.
I ask myself what further proof of Humanity’s pitiful and morally lost condition, and alienation from God could possibly be demanded from unbelievers …. as evidenced by such unconscionable crimes as this…. committed against the most innocent????
Sufficient is the Evil thereof!

Though The evils and responsibility of Child abuse rest with the abusers… and you cannot blame their upbringing, the government, or any other single cause… Justice and deterrence demands that the Rights of Children receive the full weight of the Law and justice system behind them, so that these Monsters think twice… before committing their crimes… and when they do… they must receive full recompense for their Abominable Crimes against the most vulnerable members of our society.
Many would prefer to see these Vile perpetrators hung from a lamp post… yet without recourse to such Medieval punishments… we should at least expect the courts to deliver a sentence of Life without parole.

How New Zealand society is to reduce the incidents of such absolutely shocking crimes is not easy to determine… there are so many factors involved, yet if I was to single out some points of importance for me to would be *Personal ethics* and how our society’s P.C ‘pandering to victimism’… and rejection of what we might call ‘Old school Christian values’, in favour of Liberal de-valuation of the Traditional Family values… the importance of Fathers, the normalizing of Single parent families, Having children out of wedlock… The Socialist Government encroachments, via welfareism, The evils of the lies of Maori as victims of colonisation… even heavy Taxation, and trade regulations …etc etc… all corrode the soul out of our people… create excuses… make life harder than it needs to be… and esp robs people of an inner moral compass.
Too many people today hold to a nihilistic, amoral, ‘It’s all about me’ mentality.
New Zealand needs to stop running to Nanny State and calling for more Rules and regulations, and instead seek a moral re-awakening in *personal ethics and responsibility*.
No doubt many readers will thumb their noses at this notion… yet I believe it 100%.
This cant happen over night… and it will never happen… unless people take a long hard look at where our society is heading in this ‘post-Christian era’.

Why is it that *Today’s generation* are thought less fit to handle the same liberties older generations took for granted?

This is a massive topic in itself because though The Christian is called to believe the Bible, I dont deny that Satan has been at work corrupting, and twisting, and deceiving… The Father of Lies has his Minions… whom have busied themselves so that indeed there are many corrupted manuscripts, and Evil translations… championed by wolves in sheeps clothing who hate the truth, and seek to deceive.

This blog post started out as a simple tribute to Peter Steele, whose Music added flavour to my own life and whose death I felt as a tragic loss.
I did not know a great deal about him other than his music and so I started watching Youtube video interviews and what surprised me was how often he would slip in claims of being a Christian, usually in between some other strange comments… in particular his often claim that he actually *wanted to die.*
Now of course someone who belongs to a band called ‘Type O Negitive’ who wrote songs like ‘Everything dies’ and specialized on blatantly nihilistic themes, it should not be shocking at all to appreciate the Front man had a Morbid Fixation about Death, yet as a Christian myself I began to wonder if this Fixation had in fact stimulated some *Real contemplation* and that perhaps his random claims of being a Christian were something more than taking the Mickey.
It did not take much effort to discover that Peter Steele…. despite Everything his music represents… was indeed one of those amazing Heavy Metal Stars who with age… came to some form of Christian Faith before he died.
Though many of his fans would not at all be pleased by this , it was fantastic news to me, and a token of how *Real* a person he was because he would have known how unpopular his public conversion would be with many of his Fans.
Many wont want to acknowledge this aspect of their Idol and will probably slag me for blogging about it, yet I want to tell his fans that his bravery in ‘Coming out in favour of Christ’ was actually a great act of Love he had for his fans… He was showing them the way.
Though he did not seek to ram Religion down peoples throats, yet neither did he want to be an Apostle of Nihilism and Irreligion.
He does not want his Fans to think that Life is pointless and that Good and Evil are meaningless terms.
I can justify these things by his comments… listed below.
So Peter was not only a great Artist, but was very Honest and of great depth… and he was also a member of a growing number of Hard Rock/ Metal Icons who have professed belief in Christ… and I can relate to this myself as a Head Banger and Christian.

It is a Show… an act…. a story… that should be making you contemplate the Higher truths and searching for the meaning of Life.
Like Alice Cooper, Brian Welch, Dave Mustaine, and Others… Peter found out that Wealth, Fame, and Fortune, are insufficient in themselves to give real value to a persons life.
That Meaning and Salvation is Found in faith in God, and Jesus Christ.
Ask yourself Who in their Right mind actually thinks Alice Cooper, or Blackie Lawless’s Stage show personas are to be take seriously?

Unfortunately Peter died not long after making his faith public.
I can only speculate about the interesting perspectives he would have shared if he had had more time.
Fortunately He turned to Christ in the nick of time!

So I hope ‘a light turns on’ in the minds of Metal fans who read this tribute rather than simply getting angry at the thought of taking Christianity seriously, or feeling that Peter ‘Betrayed’ the hedonist cause.
He did you the best favour he could possibly do.
He showed that *Keeping it real* sometimes being brave enough to swim against the current, and be willing to suffer malice and hate, for the sake of being true to yourself and not living as a fraud.
So Rock on Metal Fans…. enjoy life… but dont be a complete moron and deny the true meaning of Life that comes from Knowing Jesus Christ.

“Most of you have probably never heard of Peter Steele, (left) who passed away last month at the age of 48 from heart failure. Steele was the bassist and lead singer from the band Type O Negative, a popular group in the 1990’s that was at the cutting edge of the emerging “gothic” music scene and culture – you know, all those whiny, self-pitying teens who dye their hair black and try to look like vampires? Though Type O Negative, as a niche band, never attained a real popular mass market appeal, they did sustain a strong underground following throughout the 90’s and into the new millennium. Because shortly before his death, Peter Steele converted to Christianity and even claimed to be a Roman Catholic. He went on talk shows speaking about how God has a plan for everybody and stated that one thing that helped bring him to Christianity was the conviction that there had to be some justice in life beyond this world; in his own words, that “someone like Stalin or Hitler just couldn’t wind up in the same place as Mother Teresa.” This sudden change appalled his fans (who thought he had sold out) and amazed Christians, who were once again reminded that nobody is beyond God’s grace. His was definitely the most unexpected conversion since the 2005 conversion of Korn guitarist Brian “Head” Welch. Unfortunately, unlike Welch, Steele died very soon after announcing his conversion.”

Without question, these sorts of attacks are terrible, yet is Duncans call to outlaw the Breed a rational solution that deserves serious consideration?
I want propose to you that it is *not a rational solution at all*, but Knee-jerk, childishly simplistic, and part of a far greater evil that is befalling our society.
His call for heavy handed political action is symptomatic of a disturbing lack of respect for Freedom, and the quality of life that Freedom facilitates.
The sheeple are so easily led down the path via their emotions and fears so that not only does freedom deteriorate under the onslaught of Nanny State tyranny, but so does the quality of everything get sacrificed to political agendas and Social engineering…. and thus despite the pretense that Socialism is supposed to care and improve things… in reality *our quality of life* gets degraded.
Eco-Greenism has resulted in ‘energy efficient’dishwashers that dont wash our dishes.
Any Sugar Taxes will result in horrible tasting …less enjoyable food… or food that has industrial chemical additives… sweetners that will be found to be much more dangerous than Sugar… yet dont quite taste so sweet.

And with all this mayhem…. few contemplate that 90% of the perceived ‘troubles’ are caused by a politically manufactured lack of self responsibility amongst the population, and the growing parasitic Political class who exist to tyranise and micro-manage our lives…. all under Auspices of the State education system!

Just the other day a facebook page called ‘Classic Kiwi’ posted a photo (above) of a string of Double happy fire crackers… and those of us old enough to know … got a rush of Joy…. simply from remembering how great Guy Fawkes night used to be… before the wowzers had them banned… sky rockets and Bonfires too!
Even in Cities there was usually a bonfire built in the local reserve and it was one of the few occasions when the neighborhood got together for a celebration.
We kids all got burned at least once… yet it was worth it!
Today’s Kids have been robbed of this in the name of Nanny State cotton wool, and Intolerance.
Many People today simply cannot contemplate such Free expression.
Some Kids did actually get seriously burned, yet everyone of us learned about management of risk, to enjoy life by being responsible and careful… and we all accepted the risks… and had a ball!

3 years ago Duncan thought a great topic for his Radio show would be to Tear strips off Public Menace Gareth Morgan for doing exactly what he is himself doing with regards to Banning Pit bulls… except Gareth’s target was Domestic Cats, and he wanted them Banned for the sake of ‘saving New Zealands’ native birds.
Immediately Duncan went on the offensive… calling Morgans Ban ‘Bonkers’.
I suspect *He* has a cat *he loves* and the Ban his mate Gareth was proposing *was a threat to *His family pet!*
You see for once a suggested prohibition was going to adversely affect *his enjoyment* and possibly kill *His animal friend*.
I would like to congratulate Duncan in this case for Rallying the people to oppose Gareth, yet it is obvious he did not do this from any principle, as he does not give a shit about people who love their Pet pit bulls…. dogs that have not committed any crimes at all…. yet are under threat from Mob outrage and Political oppression simply because they are a breed Duncan himself does not personally like but seeks to lay collective blame, and vent his paranoia.
I dont even believe Pitt Bulls are Statistically the most violent breed, or guilty of the most attacks.

Yes there is a cost involved regarding our native birds, and Garreth was quick to point out that cats carry nasty diseases that do affect human beings, yet most of us would prefer a much more sophisticated approach to these issues rather than loosing our right to own and enjoy cats.
The same logic ought to apply to managing the risks that living in a society that allows Dog ownership, because of the great value they add to our lives.
Pitbulls are like Double happy Fire Crackers, Jungle gyms and Bicycles… all part of the spice of life, though all of them are not 100% safe and require common sence… our society is better of *managing the risks they entail* than Banning them.
Having them in our society *Teaches self-responsibility*… and that is priceless…. indeed absolutely essential for a free and enlightened world.
I added Bicycles to this list because every year thousand of accidents and injuries occur from riding bikes, and many deaths too… yet few Nanny state evangelists of the likes of Morgan and Garner would dare to suggest Nanny State Ban them.
The Sheeple may be slumbering yet even they could be awoken from their Coma by such a suggestion.
So Stark would be the consequence of the loss of liberty.
And Bicycles have become sacrosanct under Political correctness as part of the state religion of the Eco-movement so PC wowzers turn a blind eye to negative realities when it suits their prejudiced agendas.

If you know your dog has nasty tendencies you need to sort it out, keep it isolated… or even have it put down because it is inexcusable that any innocent children suffer because you did not control your dog and take the proper precautions
Even if your dog has never shown any aggressive behavior, you still need to be aware of the danger and take precautions at all times.
Yet still there will no doubt continue to be dog attacks, yet if we love freedom… we know that there is no such thing as 100% safety.
Dogs save far more people from thefts and violence than they themselves inflict.
Take away dogs, and you render more woman and old people defenseless… and alone.
When any tragic dog attack occurs…. Be angry at the Dogs that were actually involved… Be angry at the owners… dont loose the plot and blame all dogs, and dont allow yourselves to be led down the garden path by the Minions of Nanny State.
All Parents need to teach their Children to be Dog wise.
That is a whole subject in it’s own right in which everyone should familiarize themselves.
And how about also teaching your Children the principles of Inalienable rights and Liberties, and the just limits to political power… so that they have the tools to defend their own Freedom when they have become of Age… and defend their Children’s future form the State worshiping Phobia mongers and power trippers that will undoubtedly arise in their time.

As a Libertaian, I dont believe the government should have any say in the private affairs and marriage contracts between consenting adults, yet as long as they do, I supported equal rights for Gays to get married despite many Christians who sought to confound this issue and maintain the prohibition of Gay marriage on the basis that they foresaw that once Gays were granted this equality… that they would then seek to impose Gay marriages upon Christians… force them to open their churches to them for their ceremonies… etc.
I had no doubt that such things would eventuate, yet was not prepared to allow this secondary assumption prevent me from supporting the principle of equality before the Law.
This New fight… is something else that needed to be fought independently of the marriage law reform.
You see the difficulty in being a Christian who understands that True Christianity is Libertarian in it’s modus opperandi… and that though I support equal rights before the Law, I retain my right to peacefully live by my own christian convictions and to vocalise my moral views from a soap box in the public square.

…actually, because it is nine months before Christmas, today is the day we celebrate God’s incarnation as a man in the body of the Holy Theotokos and Ever Virgin Mary!
In Greek this is called, appropriately enough, the Evangelismos. The Archangel Gabriel was the first evangelist, the first to give us hope and announce the sending of our salvation.
While it is rare that it falls on the date of Western Good Friday, it is somehow appropriate that it does, as we celebrate the very beginning of our salvation in conjunction with the ultimate path to it – the cross.

My Internet commentary and blogging have all been of very poor quality in recent months due to my sleep biorhythms being way out of whack… and I was thinking about how today… Good Friday being the traditional day that western Civilisation remembers the Crucifixion of Christ ought to be a Day that I release some Profound Blog post… given that Christs Crucifixion is supposed to hold such a high place in my personal convictions… yet the truth is I almost could not be bothered to write anything.
Thinking about this some more, I contemplate how much of this is due to my own lack of energy, how much of it has to do with simple apathy… etc… and one other factor came to mind that I think is worthy of making the topic for my 2016 Good Friday rant… because it must rank as the number 1 reason I struggle to find motivation to talk about one of the most important realities of all time…
It is the Hardness of Hearts… the coldness… the depth of Anti-Christ hatred that Christians face whenever they attempt to share their faith… and this hatred hurts the most when it comes from Family and friends… who simply dont want to know.
Having been on both sides of the fence I can sympathize with both camps.
I understand this confrontation and why the animosity exists (predominantly on the infidel side) … yet also why Christians can be annoyingly persistent, and I believe it is very worth spending some time looking at it.
In the Post-christian Era there has arisen a very unhealthy custom that says Religion and Politics are forbidden subjects to discuss.
It is said that you can believe whatever you want… just keep your mouth shut about it… it is said that ‘Christians’ dont have the right ‘to shove their beliefs down other peoples throats’… yet that same rule does not apply to atheism and the myth of evolution… the adherents of which assert they do have right to shove their atheism down everyone’s throats 24/7… under the excuse and assertion that *these are not religious ideas* but true scientific facts… and as any enlightened person will tell you… Truth and Science must never be muzzled … and anyone who complains must be *anti-science*.
The Duplicity in all this *never occurs* to the Atheist Antichrist.
It certainly did not occur to me when I was a militant atheist.
Reason was *my Ally* I assured myself!
I saw no reason for *me* to listen… be patient… or moderate my responses.
I supposed Religion to be the very definition of Hocus Pocus!
So believe me when I say I empathize with you unbelievers… I know your thoughts…
It never occurs to these ‘victims of religious persecution’ … that involuntarily suffer the onslaught of preachers… that they themselves could possibly be the ones who are superstitious, or that their claims of enlightened objectivity and defense of Freedom and truth… may in realty be nothing of the sort… but instead extremely naive, bigoted, highly Subjective and poorly grounded assumptions… or that such an edifice of assumption could possibly harbor deeper psychological and Moral antagonism to what they imagine as the unbearable ramifications for anyone who would even consider seriously contemplating the plausibility of Christianity as being true.
They make sure that any such confrontations with religious types are kept to an absolute minimum… and if employing some rudeness is necessary to hint at what a waste of time any further conversation on these topics will be… well then… the end justifies the means.
The Christian seeking to share the gospel is up against psychological bents that Close minds tight, and hardens hearts to stone… a hell bet determination to *Never to contemplate life* through the Christian Lens.
Naturally most Infidels recoil at the very notion of self-imposing *any rules and regulations* upon their Libertine desires and selfish ambitions… their universe is morally Sterile.
To such closed Minds the whole theistic Paradigm is completely Foreign… talking about religious concepts is like talking about an alien planet … speaking Klingon… about a completely make-believe dimension… a supernatural dimension.
They are sure that *in the real universe in which we live*… there are no spirits… Prayers dont work…. People cant rise from the dead…. and any talk of God/ Gods/ devils must be the invention of either deluded or devious Idol makers.
It never occurs to them that *Their materialist view of reality* is itself a completely manufactured religious belief and maintained by the very *closed mindedness* that they employ to shut down Christians… a determination never to seriously entertain any arguments Christians employ*… and so it is not necessary to properly analyse any criticism about any so-called scientific evidence for Atheistic Evolution… for it simply *has to be true*… the alternative is too fantastic… too unimaginably horrible to contemplate.
I will hazard to guess that the very length of this Blogpost … on this topic … will be too much to bear for most Atheists whom have the misfortune of stumbling upon it…. such is their apathy towards this Topic… which should in fact be held with the supreme importance that it deserves… yet they will insist this topic deserves about the same amount of diligence as contemplating the possibility that the tooth faerie is real.

“All Wars are caused by Religion”… “Catholic Priests are all pedophiles” ….”Hell was invented to scare people into paying money to the church*…. etc etc
These sorts of Statements don’t bear up under scrutiny and investigation. To the degree that they hold any water at all.. they simply *don’t disprove the Bible or the existence of God*… yet in spite of this observation being true it remains no concern to people who have no intention whatsoever of seriously contemplating the issues. They are smug in their conceits.

It is in this environment that the Christian must co-exist in peace with his neighbors, and it is the challenge that this great wall of antagonism that anyone who contemplates sharing the Gospel must face… and it is a daunting task… one that can sap the enthusiasm for the gospel right out of you…. door after door slamming in your face… insult upon insult… for infinity.
*Here we have arrived at some explanation as to why I struggled to bother writing a Good Friday post for today*… why bother when nobody wants to know?
Well ye Infidels… let me cut past a million good explanations and finally answer why A Good friend can become a pesky and annoying Christian… who talks about Miracles, Death, Judgement, etc…. Primarily it is because they care for you!
*They Know* you are blindly walking down the road to destruction.
*And people who care…. true friends… are prepared to be unpopular… are prepared to risk ridicule… *for your sake*… not theirs.
You see that though the Christian has been called by God to share the Gospel, he has also been told *Not to cast pearls before swine*… which means *Dont waste time preaching to people whom behave like pigs… who hate/ despise God and the truth*…. for they will not respect it… but will tread it into the Mud and filth in which they wallow.
So the Christian ought to take extreme care in how he seeks to share his faith and help his friends and loved ones see the light and be saved.
This is the virtue of Meekness… not to be confused with weakness.
In fact Bible thumping Fanatics Do the Christian Gospel a great dis-service when they act militantly, or form Lobby groups that seek the government to impose their beliefs upon others by force of Law… and pay for their schemes by force of Taxation.
It takes Great strength of character to be a successful winner of souls… To hold strong religious convictions, yet still have a soft heart motivated by Love and grace rather than Over-zealous Piety and indignation.
I quite often slip into my bad habit on pouring condescension upon others with whom I have lost patience, or detect traits that I detest. Yet this most often is a sign of my own weakness of character… that I often excuse… because I’m tired.
Yet the Truth is such behavior drives people away from Christ and re-affirms all their negative assumptions about Christianity.
I know I will hang my head in shame on the day that I learn just how many souls my own wickedness and folly has turned people away from Christ.
*Yet still Unbelievers just dont understand that all the bad behavior, hypocrisy, and fakery that Christians are guilty of does not diminish the objective truth of the Bible.
Jesus was not Crucified on a Friday, but on a Wednesday… and while Christians may argue about such things… does not detract from the truth and reliability of the scriptures.
*You are simply making the mistake of judging the Divine truth… by the follies of human beings.*
And so it is a Historic Fact that Jesus was Crucified… because he was betrayed by the Jewish Religious authorities to the Roman OverLords because they thought he was subverting the people from following the Religious traditions and Authority of their Priestly Hierarchy… He had refused to endorse them but instead exposed them as Vipers and hypocrites who taught religious lies.
God allowed their evil ambitions to be fulfilled… because in so doing, it not only proved the truthfulness of the prophecies within the scriptures, but also was part of Gods spectacular secret agenda to Redeem mankind from their Sins!
Christ as The Sinless Lamb of God took upon himself the penalty of our sins (death) and died for us, so that God could then show mercy and grace to whosoever realises their own pitiful miserable sinfulness and desired God to forgive them and save them from the just punishment their wickedness deserves…. eternal separation from God.
Many people find the message of the cross an abhorrent thing… and it is… yet it’s abhorrence correlates perfectly with the wickedness of the world for which was the both the cause and reason for it happening!
It is a testament to how we come to terms with how seriously God weighs our Sins, and how it shows an evil heart if we think that Christ’s sacrifice on the cross is too extreme to pay for our ‘minor indiscretions’. (Read here : Christ’s work of Salvation on the Cross… The Great Equaliser.)
*The Thinking person will see the absolute perfect picture of Human sinfulness in the Crucifixion of Jesus Christ*
*It is the most Believable thing* that is definitive of the evil of humanity… and the longsuffering of God.
This happened folks.
The Crucifixion is History… not fantasy.
Moreover on Easter Sunday *two days time*… is the day we celebrate the greatest miracle of all time in respect to it’s eternal significance… *Christ’s resurrection from the Dead*.
People should go read the Gospels to get the full picture, yet this miracle is not only a historic fact… It altered human history… it literally changed the world, and established Jesus Christ as indisputably *the greatest figure in human history*.
Now dont you think a person of that stature… whose life had such an impact of such fantastic magnitude … and who is the central figure of a Moral philosophy that is Unrivaled… deserves more serious contemplation than the tooth faerie???
Christ did all this to save your sinful soul from an eternity in the lake of Fire.
And all you need to do to be saved is to put your trust in his sacrifice on the cross, and trust that he rose from the dead…. that he really was/is The Christ.
This is what your annoying friend who used to be cool is desperately trying to communicate to you!
Doing their best to awaken your mind… trying not to piss you off… out of love and the knowledge that should you continue to choose to remain in the dark… that your opportunity to be saved will pass, the hour will arrive when you will stand before God as an Antichrist… in all of your wickedness… and you will receive your hearts desire… to forever know not the presence of God… you will be eternally damned.
It does not have to be that way…. you have a choice… it involves your realisation *that you are a sinner*… a member of the Fallen race of beings descended from Adam.
*for those of us who have received the salvation that is in Christ, Death is nothing to be afraid of.
Joy awaits us… and the love of God… and the fellowship of all who chose life over death.

It actually involves the very opposite.
It is not a flight of fancy… but an awakening.

It’s about our personal values… and having faith that as an individual you have value and purpose.
There is nothing wrong with fame and wealth… it’s much better than poverty… yet the question is how you employ your wealth and use your fame… and thus we see many celebrities attempting to use their fame for Social good.
Now It is ‘easier’ for the wealthy to pursue their higher values when they have the financial security.
And the first ethic that we as individuals need to respect and find pride in is… *Living by the sweat of our own Brow*…. not off the sweat and toil of others… and so May I suggest that *even if we are achieving little else* yet we are surviving by honest means… then we ought to be happy about that and start to have self esteem.
Then *after this* if we can fulfill other values… like maybe charitable work… giving a helping hand or bring comfort to someone in strife , or creating something good ,… or even appreciating the world in which we have been placed…and the God that put us here… these will without doubt bring more happiness than the fickle lusts for fame, glory, ….for glory’s sake alone… because as these famous people say… such fame is hollow… meaningless…
Yet still when a person is lost in the Godless delusions of Materialist atheist, there is no objective basis for morality or value…. why be good?… when good is nothing objectively real?
Why care?…. if you believe human beings are nothing but animated space dust?
The great dilemma for atheists can be the glaring contradiction of an inner psychological need to think of themselves as Good people… in a universe that they think the term Good as being merely a figment of their imagination… an inner drive they are taught is nothing more than a genetic urge that is supposed to perpetuate the survival of those genes.
The day that any individual sees the light…. that God exists and that he created Humanity for a purpose, and that Goodness and morality are in fact objective realities…. and that All this can be found in the Person and work of Jesus Christ… in that day when an individual chooses to trust Christ… they are born anew… their eyes are opened… and they realise they exist in a Universe of purpose, value and meaning.
Ultimately when I die… I hope to meet God my Father and have him say that in spite of my many shortcomings… that I did well.

A few minutes ago, marked 2 years since this Heroic young man Won his Battle against Cancer.
I say he *won* because he lived life like a champ right to the very end… and kept his soul free of bitterness.
So many of us live longer… but not better.
Ultimately Life is not about how Rich or Famous you become… how cool the bike is that you ride, etc but how you play the cards that you have been dealt… and Scott played his hand like a master of the Game….with supreme courage and grace.
It was inspirational to witness his strength of character…. his determination to enjoy life… and to value his family and friends.
He was an Ambassador and spokesman for plight of Children and young people with medical afflictions, we all must remember him and contribute generously to Charities that are there fighting the fight for us.
Scott is one person definitely on my Hero list, and a person I will enjoy talking to when I have passed over into the Kingdom of our gracious and loving Heavenly Father.
