It is interesting how with the process of time reality has a way of exposing Ignorance and folly, and bring unpopular truths into the light.
It is even more interesting to watch the various ways the Tyrants and Sheeple respond.
Collectivist Communism Bankrupted the Soviet Union, which was a reality pill not wasted upon the Chinese Communists, who responded by modifying their Economy to align more closely with Western socialist democracies which have a modicum of Free enterprise, and private property, yet in reality is not ‘Free’ at all, but heavily regulated, and Taxed by a large, powerful, and meddlesome State.
Yet the Chinese now have discovered they have not prevented the collapse of their Regime, but merely postponed it by a few decades, as the economic model they assimilated from the West is likewise fatally flawed.
The West now Reels under the Teachings of Painful Reality… that their model of socialism is also ‘unsustainable’ … it just takes a little longer than full blown Communism to implode.
This fact is proven by the massive debt crisis which Socialist democracies now face, having been driven into the ground by elected Big spending Anti-freedom, Anti-Capitalists. All the roits in the world cannot alter the truth. Socialism is a failure.
The bankrupt reality of Powerful, Big spending, heavy handed Socialism with their Grand Collectivist delusions and Micro management of society holds true across the board, and has now forced a heavily indebted Hamilton City council into ‘austerity mode’ Which Council downsizing and selling off assets ( ‘Austere decade ahead’ Waikato Times Saturday June 9 pg A5).

The current crisis is exactly as I predicted.
I have spent the last decade campaigning for council, warning the people of Hamilton that Bankruptcy and pain was comming to town like an inexorable Juggernaut.
During elections I told Mayoral Julie Candidate Hardacre that she would have to reneg on all her big Ideas and Campaign promises, yet this did not deter her from continuing to pedal her ‘popular’ delusions, and thus she was elected upon Fraud, folly and worst of all an orchestrated ignorance.
Mrs Hardacres fantasies received full Media support, while my Economic and Political truths were marginalized, and treated as whack (Except by the Local Paper Hamilton News, whom have always done a fantastic job of presenting alternative perspectives thanks to the efforts of Editor Colin Vincent)..
I was left out of the political debates, perverting democracy by keeping many voters in the dark about the real state of affairs faced by the H.C.C and the necessary alternative direction which I represented.
Most voters were not aware of the choice that I represented as a candidate.
Time is up!
The Apocalypse has arrived!
Now though I continue to be ignored by the Media, The truth of My Prophecy cannot not be ignored anymore than Gravity can be.
The Waikato Times article mentioned above shows that many of my unpopular policies are now being
forced upon the council…against their will. The travesty is that they are now being implemented by the charlatans who got elected by promising to spend more, not less.
It is a real pity that the Media and Hamiltonians did not heed my warnings as I could have implemented a systematic program of reform when things were not so dire and thereby would have been able to get better returns on asset sales, during a better economic climate… unlike the ‘fire sale’ that we must now endure.
I am still awaiting a knock on the door from the Political Journalist of the Waikato Times who ought to be aware of these important facts I am presenting here, and interested in getting the truth out to their readers… the voting public so they may make better choices next election.
It is an interview which will never happen.
I would also love to see an article In The Waikato Times which reviews all the Campaign promises of the current bunch in council, putting to them the hard questions of how they expected to fulfill their pledges when there was no money to do so? Did they make their pledges out of an extreme ignorance?
If so they expose the naked reality that they are unfit to be in council.
Did they make their promises simply to fool the voters and get elected?
If so they exposed their Political dishonesty, and they ought to be thrown out of Office. This is something which Minister of Local Government Rodney Hide failed to do. Tits on a Bull I say!
Thus like all socialist democracies Hamilton wallows in debt. A circumstance arrived at via Ignorance, Delusions, Lies, Complicity. All foreseeable. All preventable. Yet this is a tale still kept in the dark like a dirty secret because no one wants to admit the truth!
The Libertarians have been right all along and that we now wallow in the mire is the price we must pay because no one wanted to face Reality.

The Libertarianz Party will Stoically endure all. They have faced election defeats for a decade and a half, yet have always resisted the temptation to soften their bid for freedom and justice. I have stood for Parliament and council both as a Libertarianz Party Candidate and as an Independent, yet have never changed a single policy. My principles are not for sale. Having no lust for power for its own sake. I see no point in striving to win election if the price must be to forsake and betray my values. Yet it is amazing how many parties and individuals do just that. If you read the National party constitution you would think they were the Libertarianz or Act party, yet in reality they are today virtually identical to the Labour party. Via compromise after compromise….step by step they deserted their original/ foundational ideals and now represent the very opposite convictions. For the sake of Political power they sold out. Thus my message to Don Brash and the Act Party is Don’t blame your principles as being ‘the problem’! Don’t fall into the trap that you must ‘water down’ and compromise your Ideals…for popularities sake! No! You must be resolved. You must improve how you get your message across to the public… but stand rock solid… immovable upon the principles which define you and distinguish you from the National Party…lest ye become light blue. Here is a short list of things you cannot compromise upon without selling your soul to Satan.
1. Be resolute in regards to the RMA. Liberty and Property rights are an essential for a prosperous and just Nation.
2. Be resolute in opposition to the ETS. It is a giant socialist scam attempting to cripple industry and growth, and control of the Means of production.
3. Push for the decriminalization of Cannabis. This is an extremely important Law and order issue. The gains that such a reform would make to our society is Monumental.
4. Stand firm upon Ending Waitangi Apartheid. Racial Equality before the Law is a fundamental of Justice. The Waitangi Gravy train is a heinous disease that ensnares Maori in Racism and socialist dependence and corrupts race relations.
Thus Act must spend the next three years working to gain back support. I suggest you push harder…not softer upon these righteous policies… or Quit….and leave the field clear for the Libertarianz Party. Those are the only two moral options you have.

Christian note: Of all people, Christians ought to be aware of the evils of selling out the principles of justice for Popular support. We are warned about the evil of compromise many times in the scriptures. For example “Broard is the way that leadeth to Damnation, and many there be thereon; Narrow is the way that leadeth to life and few there be that find it”, and again “Let God be true and every man a Liar”, and again What profit a man should he gain the whole world but loose his own soul?, and again “Ye cannot serve both God and Mammon”. It has come to my attention that a young relative of mine, whom I love very much has just experienced a very terrible thing. He and a friend have been experimenting with illicit drugs, and just recently dropped some Bad E, and apparently his friend has suffered some sort of Brain damage. This is tragic!
No doubt many of his friends and family will be cursing the Drug dealer as ‘scum’ and will be hoping the Police bust his arse and throw him in jail for ever.
And there currently seems to be a lot of bad gear on the market. On the front page today’s NZ Herald is another story regarding ‘Tainted E’… ‘Ecstasy at Fairfield: 6 girls taken to hospital’

The experience of having a loved ones harmed by a toxic substance can make people become ardent prohibitionists, not understanding the reality that Prohibition is actually responsible for this tragic situation. The E being manufactured by dodgy people, out of dodgy ingredients processed using dodgy equipment. Thus these concerned citizens unwittingly perpetuate the very situation that will guarantee many more tragedies like this will happen. They probably are not aware of the fact that properly manufactured E is a relatively safe recreational drug.

In their anger and pain, and desire for vengeance, many fail to consider the fact that Prohibition did not prevent this tragedy from occruing, nor will it ever work because the reality is most young people will experiment with drugs, and that because there is a huge market for them, Entrepreneurs will always seek to make a profit from supply.
Nor will many people consider the relevance of the government Ban of BZP Party pills, which took away another safe alternative to Black market substances.
The Waikato Times also ran a story about the school girls, and while they failed to mention that the ‘Pills were tainted, they unwittingly revealed the detremental effect of prohibition means that

As a Christian Libertarian I reject the notion that oppressing drug users is a just or intellegent way to deal with drug use in society. I do not believe political force can substitue self-responciblity and personal ethics. Prohibition and persecution are not propperly Christian modus opperandi. Nor is it biblical to believe that it is possible to legislate mankind into a socialist utopia. And Drugs can save lives. There is no Eternal salvation in Drugs, yet they can bring temporal relief to misery, and a depressing reality and thereby keep people from insanity and suiside… until they find Christ.

My test is simple, is there someone to positively endorse who is more freedom loving than the status quo? If so, vote for him or her. If not, is there someone positively evil and anti-freedom worthy to oppose, if so vote for whoever will remove him or her. So…

National’s Tim Macindoe narrowly pushed Labour’s Martin Gallagher out of Parliament. Yet he led Arts Waikato, and seems to be into environmentalism (Sustainable Business Network). He’s not really worth endorsing, even though he is up against the awful Sue Moroney, who wants a subsidised passenger train service to Auckland (that would be slower than a bus), and wants to force “pay equity” and longer compulsory paid parental leave. Moroney is number 10 on the Labour list so is a sure thing, Macindoe is 49 on the National list so may not make it if he loses here, but then that isn’t a real loss for those who believe in less government. Yet there IS a candidate who does passionately believe in freedom and less government. Although he has chosen not to stand for Libertarianz this time, he is still worthy of my support. Vote for a man who has turned his life around, and who is passionate about what he does, and works very hard to get across his message. He is his own man, true to himself through and through, and while you may not always agree with him, he deserves your vote – Vote Tim Wikiriwhi. If he got in, Parliament wouldnt know what’s hit it.
Mana – Richard Goode – Aotearoa Legalise Cannabis Party
Labour’s Kris Faafoi took this in the by-election last year and Whaleoil revealed the truth absent tactics that were used there. Yet the awful “Pakeha owe Maori loads” public sector consultant Hekia Parata of National is simply vile – from personal experience. Richard Goode, standing for the Aotearoa Legalise Cannabis Party is mild mannered and one of the most rational speakers on liberalising drug laws in New Zealand today. He has decided not to stand for Libertarianz this year, but he is still libertarian. Vote for Goode.

The following is a pamphlet I wrote in defence in individual liberty and private property when Helen Clarks government passed the Anti-smoking legislation in regards to pubs, clubs, Cafés and Restaurants. I was a spokesman for the Libertarianz Party at the time and was busy trying to rally public support of a Bar in Cambridge called ‘Kelly Browns’. The Owner was one Dean Risi and he was Risisting the new Legislation because he believed it was tyrannical and persecuted his patrons, many of whom smoked cigarettes while enjoying a beer.
I remember him saying that he was not prepared to throw his patrons out on the street. In particular one Old timer who was a returned serviceman whom fought Hitler in defence of Kiwi Freedom was a regular patron and cigarette smoker. He was raided several times by the police… like he was fencing stollen goods! I interviewed him on My Community Radio programme ‘The New Freeland show’ and held a Libertarian rally at his Bar and awarded him the Libertarianz Party ‘Light of Liberty Award’ given to those whom bravely stand up in defence of Justice, Individual liberty, and private property. He was a worthy recipient. Almost every other Bar in the country had cowered into submission at the threat of prosecution. He was a brave man indeed. Yet sadly we were unable to prevent him from being shut down by the Government. Our Hero of the resistance was crushed.
I put my pamphlet up here in its original form because though I am no longer a spokesperson for the Libertarianz Party, I still endorse the arguments contained within, and to my knowledge so too does the Libertarianz Party though strictly speaking this is a historical document, not a current policy statement for the Libertarianz party. It does reflect my position in respect to the forthcoming election, ie that smoking is a matter of personal choice… a legitimate liberty, and that Bars, and clubs etc are Private property, and as such it is up to the owners of that property to dictate whether or not they will allow smoking on their premises *Not the Government*
Personally I find cigarette smoking to be a foolish habit, yet I believe it is a matter of the utmost importance that individual liberty and the principle of private property be respected by the State. Smoking is a matter of personal ethics and self responsibility… no business of Nanny state.

If you think I am overstating the case then obviously you have not been standing out in the cold long enough, nor do you realise that the Lion’s share of the $$$ you pay for your smokes is extorted from you to pay the wages of those in Wellington who are ram-rodding you!

It is no coincidence that you were not taught the fundamentals of our individual rights in our state schools, as our corrupt State is not in the business of promoting freedom and self-responsibility, but in accumulating POWER to itself and DEPENDANCE and so they teach young Kiwis the politics of socialism, that the end justifies the means, and the supremacy of democracy over Individual liberty!
This is a system of divide and conquer, in which they would have you believe that our individual rights are in conflict, one with another, and deny the fact that government is instituted to protect our individual rights, instead they would have you believe it is the roll of government to determine who has rights and who does not!
Instead of being a governed by just principle, they have sold you the ‘Mickey’ that politics is “the Art of compromise!” DON’T ACCEPT THEIR TERMS!
Moreover they have taken such powers as to invent new pseudo-rights at their own whim, and sell these rights at election time!
It is this racket that allows politicians to grandstand as ‘agents of the public good’ at election time, knowing that the majority of people have no grasp of politics and are easily duped by pandering to their popular phobias and prejudices.
The Anti-smoking laws are exactly this sort of political charade, as was the ban of prostitution from the suburbs.
Using these sorts of emotive subjects, it is easy for politicians to appear as ‘upstanding’ at the expense of the rights of whatever minority they have chosen to single out for discrimination.
It is essential to realize that while smoking, like prostitution, may be considered ‘a vice’, when peacefully practiced on private property; it cannot be legitimately constituted to be a crime!
This means the morality of smoking in bars, or working in a bar that allows smoking, is a matter of personal choice…that is it is a matter of personal freedom and it is tyrannical to grant legal favouritism to non-smokers in violation of the rights of publicans and smokers!
The essential point is not that such things as smoking are not harmful to those who do them, but that they do no involuntary harm to anyone outside the property in which such rights and liberties are practiced.
Whether you can legitimately smoke anywhere, for e.g in bars and clubs, or even our own homes, is not a matter of Democratic whim of the biggest mob, but of Individual property rights and free-trade.
PUBS AND CLUBS ARE NOT PUBLICLY OWNED BUT ARE PRIVATE PROPERTY!
Free-Trade is the only system of economics that recognizes free-will choice and is therefore the only moral system, yet because the free market does not allow socialist politicians the powers to meddle with our lives, they despise it, and would deceive you into believing that your freedom is wrong!
Under free trade (Just as it was prior to the smoking ban) Publicans had the freedom to decide how THEY were going to run their business, whether THEY were going to allow smoking in THEIR bars or not, and Patrons were free to decide whether they were going to frequent such establishments or not, and Staff were free to choose whether or not They wished to work in such environments or not.
Every job has it hazards, e.g exhaust fumes in one industry, noise in another.
When we consider accepting a job, we understand this means accepting both the risks and benefits that go with it and may refuse any such employment that we consider the risks outweigh the benefits.
Employers who seek to retain their staff will take all measures either to eliminate, Isolate, or minimise recognized hazards, while still keeping to their core business.
This mean if some folks are worried about ‘passive smoking’, they have a choice not to work there, nor to patronize such establishments that allow smoking…it is as simple as that!
They can open their own non-smoking bars etc if they so wish…End of story!
There is no force in any of this, and everyone was free to exercise their own morality as self-responsible adults.
Of course Socialist DO-GOODERS despise your moral Freedom and continuously seek out ways to rob you of your rights as adults to make your own choices, in the pursuit of your own happiness, and FORCE THEIR BELIEFS UPON YOU via tyrannical Laws.
They seek to run your lives and businesses as if they own them, and they are prepared to destroy those who would resist their Fanatical despotisms!
ASK KELLY BROWNES DEAN RISI who has been singled out by the state, that seeks to crush all resistance to their evil rule!
Because we have no constitution to protect our individual rights from such tyranny, Dean is being forced to close his doors for three weeks as his ‘punishment’ for continuing for allowing patrons to smoke in his bar, in defiance of the ban and has been castigated by the Liquor licensing Authority, as “unfit to have a liquor license.”
No only will this cost him $30 000, they have put a gun to his head, and all others who would resist their tyranny, by holding his livelihood to ransom in regards to his liquor license!
He has been told, should he continue to in defiance he “wasn’t going to be open for much longer”!
All this because he chose to defend his, and everyone else’s, freedom and private property rights!
Speaking to this hero I asked him, have they broken you?
NO! was his answer!
I told him he was truly a hero and that the Libertarianz party are 100% behind him and would do what ever we can to help him.
My party colleagues and I are standing for parliament with the intention of abolishing the smoking ban and every other silly law that contravene our rights and liberties.
We seek to restore your legitimate right to make your own choices!
We only need to get a handful of Libertarianz into parliament to raise public awareness of these vital issues and move the debate over to focus on these essentials.
And when we get enough support from the people of New Zealand, we shall institute a Libertarianz Constitution that shall keep democracy in check, by guaranteeing our rights as individuals, protecting us from corrupt laws and mob rule!
We would privatise the health system, the free market making healthcare much cheaper, vastly more efficient, and would place the onus of smoking back on smokers (Ironically this will be cheaper for smokers as we also would remove all the taxes on smokes, which vastly exceeds the current expense incurred of providing healthcare to smokers within the national health system)
I shall finish this rave by making the point that we need to unite together what has been wrongly segregated by socialism, which means we need to grasp the essential unity of our different circumstances, and put aside our superficial petty personal bents in the name of freedom and justice.
I am not asking you to forsake your our moral beliefs, but simply to understand that they are your personal choices and that it is wrong to force others into conforming to your beliefs. Just as you desire the liberty to hold our own beliefs, I simply ask you to love thy neighbour as thyself and grant them the same liberty.
Everyone, such as The Farmers resisting Transpower trespass, and Queens chain access across their land, need to understand
jeopardizes their property rights, and must get in behind Dean Risi and make the state recognize and respect private property also! In so doing they are defending their causes as well.
Non-smokers need to snap out of their desire to impose their beliefs upon their smoking neighbours, realizing that such impositions encourage the state to ignore private property rights and that they themselves are in danger from such a disrespectful government.
We teach our kids not to steel, trespass, or vandalize the private property of others, we need to teach ourselves and our government likewise!
This is an enlightenment! A revolution of the mind, and truly a giant step in social progress!
Election time is at hand, and this is the perfect time to dispose of those Socialist politicians who made a career out of stomping over our rights and liberties and to get fresh resolute men of principle into government to put an end to this nonsense.
Vote Libertarianz!
