Jesus Christ tops list of world’s top ten most significant people EVER: Wikipedia.

Jesus has been named the most significant person in human history, followed by Napoleon and Shakespeare, as ruled by the internet.
Based on the impact on opinions certain individuals have had over time, and how that has reflected onto their Wikipedia pages, two computer scientists have come up with the ultimate list.
Professor Steven Skiena and Charles Ward use quantative analysis to rank more than a thousand historical figures and prominent people, from Elvis to Beethoven, Stalin and Queen Victoria.
With Jesus as a front runner it comes as no great surprise that the prophet Muhammad is ranked at number four.
Leaders of empires are prominent on the list with Napoleon as number second and Alexander the Great at number nine.
Alexander’s teacher and the founder of Western philosophy, Aristotle, is listed as number eight.

The list sees three US presidents, two of which were the founding fathers of the United States, George Washington and Thomas Jefferson.

However despite their indisputable significance in history, they are both outranked by Abraham Lincoln, who is listed as number five.

naming Jesus Christ as the Greatest figure of human history! (in their ‘J’ list).

Let me repeat *Jesus Christ is the Greatest figure of human history*!

What is a very interesting fact about this admission is that Pears is thoroughly Naturalistic Materialistic Evolutionary Rationalistic in it’s Ideology… not by any means a Religious publication, thus this evaluation cannot be written off as a pro- Christian bias.
I have no doubt that this admission made many rationalists on the Pears board very uncomfortable because later additions quietly dropped it…. even though no greater figures than Christ had appeared to win such a crown.
And by dropping it they were guilty of hiding this important fact from the younger generations whom the rationalists were keen to minimise Christ’s stature and importance in human history.

We can expect all sorts of wailing from the ‘New Atheists’ about Christ again receiving his rightful significance as determined by Wikipedia Computer scientists.
They will attempt to enshrine one of their own Idols no doubt.

I think it is glaringly obvious that Jesus stands Head and shoulders above the rest and is indisputably the most influential person in history… yet you could switch a lot of the others about without too much fuss or even add in a few different folk…
Yet Jesus place is unchallengeable.

What is truly amazing is how many modern rationalists dont apportion any real intellectual significance to the Greatest figure of human history.
They have written him off because he preached Theism, and the Judgement of God… things they hate…. things their feeble minds cannot bear.
Many fools delude themselves that he never even existed, and refuse to accept the Christian documents record the real life history of the greatest figure in human history!
How dumb is that???!!!
I implore all sane persons to give Christ serious contemplation… no Conception of Reality, or apprehension of human history can be informed or learned without giving Christ his due.

When God made Man he not only formed his body out of matter, He breathed ‘spirit’ into him and he became a living soul… a freewill moral agent capable of making real choices… not a robot slave of Materialistic determinism.

Atheist delusions leave mankind not only without any Objective morality, but also renders him incapable of making moral choices… whether Evil, or Heroic.
Atheism has no explanation for consciousness.

Heroic deeds like that of John Shear only deserve praise because they stem from the heart… ie He chose to endanger himself for the sake of someone else *when he could have just stood by* in safety and watch the Horse do it’s worst.

What is truly shocking is that there are many so-called ‘Educated’ Modern Christians who are embracing this anti-free will Atheist Materialism!
They must have rocks in their heads not to appreciate the fact that Monist Materialist Determinism is absolutely incompatible with Biblical/ Christian morality!
God cant judge sinners who had no choice but to sin.
William Lane Craig makes this point clear.
The Bible is Dualistic…. it is emphatic about the greater Non-material Spiritual Reality.
The Morality Of God and Bible is built upon these Truths.
Free will is a testament to our inner Spiritual Being…. and proof of God almighty!
This is because Freewill is inexplicable in materialistic terms and conditions.

And Libertarianism is utterly dependent upon free will… voluntary acceptance of the Justice of the philosophy of equal God-given inalienable Rights and liberties.
Atheism is fundamentally corrosive to the Philosophy of Liberty.
It is deterministic and Nihilistic… whereas Libertarianism is not Lawlessness, but depends upon Objective moral absolutes.

This is an old and valid….(though a tad simplistic I admit) Christian argument which is simply showing that the Modern regression in morality is founded upon both the acceptance of Atheist evolution and the rejection of Bible based theistic Christianity.
I say it is simplistic because some of this ‘liberalism’ has in fact been real progress because it has removed bad Laws… and as such should in fact be supported by Christians… like the End of Prohibitions on Homosexuality, etc…)
Many Christians have been taught by ignorant and bigoted preachers that such reforms are evil…. when infact Christianity proper is not about oppressing sinners and infidels. That has historically been a great evil which resulted from the merging of Church and state…. Constantine…. etc… which was a deviation from what Christianity truly is… a voluntary association… not A political lobby for Power.

This is not to say that Christians ought not to participate in the democratic process, but that they must take care to be on the side of Liberty and justice… not tyranny and oppression.
They must seek to be ‘the salt of the earth’ not by despotic Laws…. but by Example and preaching Christian values and inspiring voluntary endorsement of their beliefs.

This picture also attempts to show Christians why they must be prepared to directly confront the False religion/ pseudo science of Evolution…. because it is the foundation of so many lies and Great evils.
It was when I realised that Evolution was Bogus, that I became much more open to the truth of the Bible…. because The idea of God crating Mankind began to make much more sense.

SCIENTISTS ANGRY OVER COLLEGE’S ‘DISTURBING’ HIRE OF ASTRONOMY PROFESSOR WHO EMBRACES INTELLIGENT DESIGN.

Creationism and intelligent design are causing quite a stir at Ball State University, a public college in Muncie, Indiana. In addition to sparking an internal investigation into Professor Eric Hedin, a Christian who is accused by the atheistic Freedom From Religion Foundation (FFRF), among others, of potentially indoctrinating students, there’s yet another new target. The FFRF is now joining evolutionary scientists in speaking out against the same university’s hire of Dr. Guillermo Gonzalez, an astronomy professor who embraces intelligent design.

What’s most fascinating about the debate is that academic environments really should be the host of vibrant discussion, debate and diverse viewpoints. While most scientists do believe in evolutionary theory, the notion that people who do not should be silenced seems counter-intuitive. But that is exactly what is unfolding as the contention over Ball State’s hiring of these professors progresses.

The Binnie Report clearly states that the magazine found next to Robin Bain’s body was empty.

(iv) The Curious Placement of the empty 10 shot magazine
268. An important element of the prosecutor’s argument against suicide (and a point which found favour with the Court of Appeal) is that an empty 10 shot magazine was found close to Robin Bain’s dead right hand on the carpet resting on its narrow, slightly convex edge.

The Bain argument is that the magazine must have been placed on the floor before Robin’s death because in order to make the fatal shot Robin must have switched the empty 10 bullet magazine for the loaded 5 bullet magazine. Each of the 10 bullets was accounted for elsewhere in the house. When the Police seized the gun it was fitted with a smaller 5 shot magazine. It was a bullet from that 5 shot magazine that killed Robin. The Bain team theory is that Robin put down the empty 10 shot magazine on the flooras he fit the smaller 5 shot magazine to the rifle in preparation for suicide.

And this photo shows that there is a bullet in the magazine next to Robin Bain’s hand.

So what’s the plausible explanation?

1) That Binnie misrepresented the evidence.

2) That the Police photographer didn’t know that the magazine was supposed to be empty.

Labour slammed for terror campaign comment

David Shearer’s comment that the Labour Party will “terrorise our political opponents” during its Ikaroa-Rawhiti by-election campaign is “reprehensible”, a candidate for the seat says.

In a press release announcing Labour’s candidate Meka Whaitiri’s official campaign launch, the Labour leader said: “Labour will campaign relentlessly to once again earn the trust of the people of Ikaroa-Rawhiti.

“We will organise, mobilise and terrorise our political opponents.”

The leader of the Aotearoa Legalise Cannabis Party, Michael Appleby, who was at Parliament today to launch his by-election campaign, said Labour should apologise over the comment.

“Threatening terrorism against opponents is offensive and unacceptable in a democratic by-election and the comments are extremely insensitive to the Tuhoe settlement which occurred today at Parliament,” he said.

He said Shearer’s comments were “outrageous, offensive and unacceptable”.

“I do not want to be terrorised just for standing up for my political beliefs,” Appleby said.
