The lie that the 1860s War was a Land war…. just another example of British Imperial Greed.
The Truth is that it was a Sovereignty War!
A Sovereignty which Britain was very hesitant to adopt.

The War was an armed rebellion led by Tainui against the Sovereignty of The Queen of England.
They set up their own *King!*
And that is why Nagpuhi and Te Arawa Fought with The British.
They Preferred an English Woman to be their Queen rather than a Tainui Man.
The Rebellion was an act of aggression by Rebels who intended to drive the Pakeha into the Sea…. and they expected it to be as Easy as ‘Cutting Grass’.
The Confiscations happened *After* this murderous Breach of the Treaty of Waitangi, as UTU for their Heinous Crimes.
Ie The Confiscations were *an enforcement of the treaty*.
Neither is it true to say These confiscations…. or British Colonisation was responsible for the impoverishment of Tainui Maori…. They were impoverished by their ongoing tribalism.
In fact the conviscations…. by discouraging a repeat of the rebellion ….Re-established peace which was… the foundation for future peace and Prosperity for all!

This is where Enlightenment and true self empowerment lies.
You can escape tribalism, yet still enjoy and ‘honour’ your roots.

I implore Maori to wake up the all the Machiavellian Racist lies they are being fed by their own so-called leaders.

We live in a PC Wowzers world in which Socialists Mess with our society under the most ridiculous and naive Agendas.
A hot topic for the Meddlers at present is the Feminists are trying to more closely ‘equalise’ the numbers of woman in such occupations as Business executives, and even Engineering… and typical to the Socialist mind… they are prepared to use Legal coercion to attain their Desideratum rather than respecting Freedom and utilising persuasion.

I don’t dispute that Silly cultural norms and prejudices tend to generate statistical disparities in who does what for a living, yet it is foolish to think that disparities are evidence of wicked Employer mindsets…or that even having identified the prevalence of certain bigoted mentalities that heavy handed dictates are a justifiable solution….

It appears that Socialism itself is a Political Ideology which attracts more than their fair share of busy bodies who have no compunction against using force to impose *Their personal prejudices!

Oblivious to the above irony Social engineers fail to appreciate the simple reality that left to follow their own yearnings… Different personality types…. different sexes, etc gravitate and accumulate in various occupations of their own accord.
And to the degree that this happens without Political coercion…. this tends to the greatest happiness of everyone as individuals make their own choices and trade offs to achieve the most favourable outcomes… in their own minds.

Money/ remuneration is not everything…to some it is and they will be prepared to sacrifice many other things to that end…. yet Wealth attainment is not the most important thing to many people.
Some people have Humanitarian vocations or have a passion for something …and rank ‘being at the coal face’… where the action is… is a far more valuable achievement that mere Financial reward.
The socialist notion of ‘Parity of pay’ does great harm by ‘poisoning the well’…. fermenting discord… sewing the idea that vocational workers like ‘nurses’, ‘Teachers’, counsellors, etc should be putting their own Financial reward ahead of these other values… and in so doing these services begin to fill up with People who dont really give a damn about the people they are supposed to care for.
The lie is proven that Socialism is not at all about human compassion and higher values … but all about financial Greed.

And Socialisms love for Power and coercion has had other dire consequences for the social professions… I want to highlight one in particular… the Police.
Joining the Police ought to be looked upon as a vocation for people who care about justice and want to protect and serve their community, yet Socialist Laws, and the socialist mentality has corrupted this noble profession and turned it into a Hive of Violent thuggery and oppression…. always cloaked under the guise of social concern!

When Western Civilisation to a great extent abandoned such things as Guildism and Feudal laws which trapped surfs to the soil…. and Liberty increased the mobility of people between occupations and trades…. the phenomenon I am describing in respect to the Modern socialist Police force … began to unfold in respect to employment across the board.
Many people left the rural districts and became factory workers etc… seeking their own well being and prosperity, and were also free to pursue their other dreams and values… vocations.

And though Socialism has done its best to reverse this liberty via it’s tyrannical Trade regulations, compliances, and Credentialism… yet still to the degree that freedom reigns we see personal choices and ‘cultural norms’ being played out via such things as a statistical prevalence of Woman and Gay men choosing to get involved in hair dressing and fashion.
A far greater number of Men in Engineering. Etc.
These disparities being a result of liberty of action… and because they are to the greatest degree ‘natural’ … they are just.
Greater numbers of ‘Straight men’ simply prefer to be Engineers rather than Hair dressers, and visa versa for woman.
If we altered the prevalent cultural perspectives of our society, no doubt the numbers would change of their own accord.
Coercive Social engineering on the other hand can and does have horrendous consequences for the well being of society … because of the tyrannical ideals which are artificially imposed.

I have said all of the above about the dynamics of Freedom in employment to esp point out the Sad reality that Socialists have a hatred of freedom and love of Political coercion and state power…. and the Power ,force, and violence Socialism accrues in it’s Machine… *of itself* attracts certain mentalities… … traits which were very prevalent during the Nazi Terror, and in other places… and Socialism has cultivated these Dark Natural traits of Humanity to amass themselves in the Police force, prison system, and other ‘social services’ which wield formidable powers of Law and coercion.
The vestiges of ‘vocation’ only remains as platitudes… cloaks of piety disguising Horrendous evils.

The solution to all of this…. The Urgently needed reforms to purge these institutions of the scum within is to systematically Removed the excessive powers and Bad laws which have promoted this Rot.
We must Dethrone the Socialist Maniacs and Restore real Justice and Liberty… and make these professions respectable enough to again attract the virtuous and truly socially concerned amongst us into these field of employment because of their vocational value… people who function on that higher plane far above those whom relish violence …. or believe Political force trumps cultural and personal enlightenment.

Yet today we are a million miles away from where we need to be.
We need a Revolution.
We need an enlightenment.
We need to remove the fog of totalitarianism and regain the clarity of what the true value of Freedom is in respect to Law and order.
These are truths I have learned via first hand experience.
I see Great evils all about me… and the misery and injustice appals me.
I cannot sit idly by and allow this to continue without raising my voice!
How can anyone who knows the truth let their children inherit such wickedness in high places?

Important Caveat: I am not saying *All Police* *All CYFS Officers* are evil, but that too many are.
Thankfully there are still some who have entered these professions whom genuinely seek to protect and serve.
These people will be acutely aware of the truth of what i have said above and ought to be desirous to remedy the situation.
Many will have been battling their own consciences having been expected to implement ‘orders’ and laws they know in their hearts are wrong.
Many simply leave.
Yet I would prefer The goodies dont allow themselves to be marginalised but instead determine to work for ‘Cultural change’ within these institutions and to support reforms which curtain evil political powers, and which make the evil Bastards in their midst accountable for their crimes.
Lets reform our legal system starting Right at the Top!
Parliament.
Then Reform the Law codes.
Then kick out all the Thugs in the Police and other departments.
….and once again The Police could be an institution of Respect and Law and order.

I couldn’t help myself but to imagine exactly that… and myself sitting on the throne… after reading that it’s illegal… even to imagine that 🙂

Imagine if I were King!
Oh how the world would be a much brighter place!

The truth is I actually like Olde Lizzy… (though I am sure I could do a better job … 🙂 )
I once wrote a Queens birthday Radio show yarn on why I thought she was quite certainly one of the better monarchs of history… for example she does not impose her personal religious beliefs upon the Plebs… as was common practice a few hundred years ago.
As a Libertarian I believe New Zealand ought to become a constitutional Republic, yet this does not mean I dont like the Queen, or that I would support *any and every* Kiwi political Republican ambition as I am well aware of the possibility of a much worse form of government being established than what we have under the Commonwealth.
I am indeed very sceptical about such a move given our parliament is currently packed to the brim with Communists, racists, and Fascists who would love to assume absolute power!
Be very afraid!

Yet still this post was motivated by a very strange, silly, and tyrannical Statist Law.
A supposed crime of thought.

In Libertarian circles such thoughts…. and even actions… are a right, and a duty.

To even ‘imagine’ toppling Queen illegal… Press TV

To even “imagine” toppling the Queen or the abolition of the monarchy both remain punishable by life imprisonment in each and every country under the reign of the Queen, particularly in the UK, local media report.

This came after the UK Ministry of Justice was left embarrassed following the announcement that a list of 309 offences due to be repealed before May mistakenly included a call for the abolition of the monarchy.

The government was quick to reiterate that it is still illegal to even “imagine” so and one that imagined so could be imprisoned for life.

To imagine deposing the Crown or waging war against the Queen is still theoretically punishable by lifetime jail, although nobody has been prosecuted under the law since 1897, it has been claimed.

A routine notice from the Home Office had suggested that Section 3 of the Treason Felony Act h1848 had been repealed.

Following the announcement, campaign group Republic said it welcomed the news that a law banning public calls for the abolition of the monarchy had been scrapped.

“ … we have long called for the repeal of this law and we are pleased that parliament now formally acknowledges that republicanism is a legitimate and mainstream point of view … we have repeatedly publically and unequivocally called for the abolition of the monarchy without any legal threat,” said Republic’s spokesperson Graham Smith..

However, the Ministry of Justice said embarrassingly that it has been a mistake to announce that the law is scrapped, reiterating that republicanism still carries the title of crime punishable by life in prison.

The monarchy in Britain is not only an unaccountable, totalitarian and expensive entity, but it also is a hereditary institution within which the Queen and her family cannot be held to account at the ballot box.

Doctor, mohel, and former IDF lieutenant Yosef Glassman finds surprising links between controversial plant and ancient Judaism.
“Also, one will beautify [Shabbat candle lighting] when the wick is made from cotton, flax or cannabis…”

That’s right, cannabis.

This dictate, found in the Shulchan Aruch (Code of Jewish Law), piqued the curiosity of Boston geriatrician Yosef Glassman when he was reading about Sabbath rituals on a religious quest nearly two decades ago.

The future doctor decided to embark on a project to learn whether cannabis was also used for medicinal purposes in ancient Jewish times. At first, he proceeded hesitantly — the federal ban on marijuana stigmatizes even library research on the drug, he said.

But in recent years, with medical marijuana’s legalization in several states, Glassman felt more comfortable delving in. What he found was a wealth of references in the Bible and beyond. Marijuana usage, he contends, is an aspect of Jewish law and tradition that had long been buried, and one that deserves “resurfacing and exploration.”

“There is no question that the plant has a holy source, God himself, and is thus mentioned for several ritualistic purposes,” said Glassman, who is also a mohel and a former Israel Defense Force lieutenant. He lives in Newton, Mass. with his family.

Glassman also found many references to non-medicinal uses of marijuana. “It is clear that using cannabis for clothing and accessories was very common, according to the Talmud,” he said. It was used for making tallitot and tzitzit, as well as “schach” (Sukkot roof coverings).

Glassman also found that cannabis fit into the category of kitnyos on Passover, meaning that Ashkenazi Jews were prohibited from using it on the holiday. “One thus might assume that it was also consumed, perhaps as food, during the remainder of the year,” he said, noting that hemp seeds are a non-intoxicating form of protein.

Glassman first presented his findings in late October during grand rounds — a medical teaching session — at the New England Sinai Hospital in Stoughton, Mass., where he is a physician. He has since gone on to give the same lecture to lay and medical professional audiences. “The goal is to educate practitioners on the rich cultural history behind the use of cannabis as a medicine, explain its mechanism of action, and dispel myths about its safety profile,” he said at one such presentation open to the public in Brookline, Mass. in November.

He explained that he had received no commercial support for his research, that no exhibitors were present, and sorry, but there were no free samples. “Not even in those brownies in the back?” joked one audience member.

In the talk, Glassman described finding several biblical references to the herb that include Book of Numbers 17:12-13, where Aaron the High Priest, “no pun intended,” probably burned marijuana as an incense offering “during a time of turmoil.” Other passages include God’s instructions to Moses to “take for yourself herbs b’samim” — herbs of medicinal quality — and instructions in Exodus to “take spices of the finest sort, pure myrrh, five hundred shekels, fragrant cinnamon, and ‘keneh bosem,’” which literally means “sweet cane,” but possibly refers to cannabis, said Glassman. “Keneh bosem” is also mentioned in the Song of Songs 4:14, Isaiah 43:24, Jeremiah 6:20 and Ezekiel 27:19. Another pronunciation is the Aramaic “kene busma,” which, perhaps unsurprisingly, is also the name of a modern reggae musician.

Glassman’s research revealed that cannabis may have been used as an anesthetic during childbirth in ancient Israel; he described an archaeological discovery of hashish in the stomach of the 1,623-year-old remains of a 14-year-old girl in Beit Shemesh. Maimonides was also an advocate of using cannabis oil for ailments such as colds and ear problems. “There are complex laws of plant mixing and hybridizing from the Talmud, which Maimonides comments on,” said Glassman. “Cannabis specifically was taken especially seriously in terms of mixing … and could, in fact, incur the death penalty. This shows me that apparently, cannabis was treated quite seriously.”

Ancient Jews weren’t the only people to use cannabis medicinally, of course. In his lecture, Glassman noted that cannabis has been used in Chinese medicine, as one of the 50 fundamental herbs, for 4,700 years; ancient Egyptians used it in suppositories and for eye pain; and Greeks made wine steeped with cannabis and used it for inflammation and ear problems.

The Kaipara City council acted with gross incompetence and criminally in intentionally overspending by tens of millions of dollars on a new sewage system, and yet instead of finding the Councillor culprits guilty and accountable… Our Mikey mouse Parliament tries to ‘legalise’ this corruption by passing a special new law to force the ratepayers to into submission.

The ratepayers intend to challenge this in the high court.
We must watch this case and support the rebels because depending on what the High court determines will have serious implications…. not just for Mangawhai…. but for all New Zealand.
This Corrupt new parliamentary dictate must be overthrown because it opens the floodgates for incompetent big spending councils to completely disregard the Ratepayers they are supposed to represent, and to frivolously spend up however they please…. without accountability.

In my view this new Beehive legislation is proof that the Mangawhai Ratepayers were/ are in the legal right to withhold their rates…. and the Evil bastards in the Beehive know this!
Yet instead of supporting these righteous folk they chose rather to pass a tyrannical new Law to halt Ratepayers/ taxpayers all about the country from questioning the Spending practices of the government, and withholding their money.
Parliaments actions show that the scum in the Beehive will simply legitimize any such miss-representation, miss-appropriation, and extortion.

Should their appeal to the High court fail…. they should take it to the Supreme court.
If that fails, this will prove the dire consequences of not having a written and binding constitution which limits the powers of Parliaments for the sake of protecting the Rights and liberties of Individuals and citizens from tyrannical legislation, Mob rule, and the Political agendas of Party politics .
It’s a pity Hamilton ratepayers did nothing when their City council’s sleazy dealings with the V8 Supercars ended up costing then ten’s of millions more than the Mayor and council said it would.

“Mangawhai Ratepayers and Residents Association chairman Bruce Rogan said residents were refusing to pay because the sewage system was an ever-expanding “Ponzi scheme” foisted on the community without its consent.

Meeting papers show councillors secretly agreed to expand and more than double the cost of the project in 2006 without telling the community for another four years and the council’s own legal opinion shows it has collected about $17 million of rates illegally.

Mr Rogan said residents were being asked to bail out the scheme again when many had already paid a lump sum which was supposed to cover the capital costs.

The council resigned in August and was replaced by commissioners. Chairman John Robertson, a former National MP and Papakura mayor, said 90 per cent of residents were paying their rates, including 75 per cent in Mangawhai…

What simply does not work is the system of severe penalties for producing, transhipping and selling substances deemed illegal.

During my first four years as a National MP I initiated four policy papers, three of which were ultimately embraced as party policy.

But the fourth, to legalise drugs, failed miserably.

By the time I articulated my views on this subject in my second book, The Beat to the Beehive, I had wimped out under internal National Party pressure and merely articulated a case to study, in depth, the consequences of legalising cannabis, and to consider changes in that direction.

Privately I argued all dope should be decriminalised and now, 10 years later, I believe the evidence I gathered is as valid as ever. My case in 1990 was based on research done during my last few years in the police. As an inspector and university student I had high-level access to police data and an academic interest in drug crime.
The research suggested that perhaps 50 per cent of all crime in New Zealand was drug related. The data – which I collected in the Auckland police cells and extrapolated as a hypothesis across the country – covered arrests for importing; supply; possession for supply; thefts, burglaries and robberies for drugs or money to buy drugs. Possession for self-use brought up the rear.

It was obvious that a high percentage of serious crime – such as bank robberies, kidnappings and serious assaults – had a drug-related theme.

Gangs needed ready cash to make down-payments on large imported caches, addicts needed cash to feed their habits. Then there was gang warfare over territorial distribution rights and retribution over payments not made.

It occurred to me that the police workload might be reduced substantially if the drugs people fought over, killed for, and died protecting, were dispensed through government-licensed outlets – just like alcohol.

It would be possible to establish the names of all who entered government-licensed stores to make legal purchase of substances we presently deem illegal.

This record of “users”, those who used hard drugs such as heroin, could be placed on a register for treatment and counselling from health professionals.

Drug addiction, like alcoholism, is a sickness. It should not be treated as a crime – although penalties for abuse in a public place would be part of the armoury of the state to protect other citizens from those who took drugs lawfully but caused a nuisance. This is what happens now with alcohol.

The question of young people being vulnerable is no more potent a concern with drugs than with alcohol.

Alcohol has an impact on perhaps 75 per cent of crime, and much road carnage. It is not good for your health, nor does it have spin-off benefits for the community.

Yet we as a society tolerate continued advertising of alcohol as a desirable cultural characteristic – and why? I suggest it is the power of the brewery lobby and the recognition that prohibition simply won’t work.

The best way to control alcohol use by young people is not to make it unobtainable but to impose draconian penalties for misuse, particularly where the effects of misuse are manifest in a public place or impact adversely on others.

Zero tolerance with drink-driving for people under 28 is my start point. Overnight in a police cell for street drunkenness is another bottom line.

The rationale being: abuse of a substance lawfully available is where the penalties should fall and not on supply or possession, which effectively stimulates a black market and underworld.

This same rationale I suggest could be applied to drug use.

What simply does not work is the system of severe penalties for producing, transhipping and selling substances deemed illegal. Whether it be the death penalty, life imprisonment or examples of many past and present profile cases where mere “mules” let alone people higher up the supply chain are imprisoned in foreign jails with terrifying reputations.

All these and other attempts to prohibit possession and use of drugs through a punitive approach to the supply line have failed.

Instead, the policy has spawned drug barons with the wealth to own private armies which deliver terror to the doorsteps of politicians, judges and police and by this corruption govern entire states de facto.

At the same time, the impact of the drug trade on the world economy is massive.

Recently, former United Nations Secretary-General Kofi Annan acknowledged that the international war on drugs had failed.

Others suggested that the international community (a euphemism for “someone else – not me”) revisit the question of legalisation.

It is my contention that the pain to society of trying to protect a minority from themselves is disproportionate to the benefits to society.

The budget revealed yesterday by Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte contains cuts to their military, axing 2,300 military employees in addition to the 12,000 the country had already committed to eliminate between 2011 and 2015. The new budget comes after several years of unpopular spending cuts, as the Dutch try to gain control of unsustainable entitlement programs and bring their deficit for the upcoming year under the EU’s permitted 3% of GDP.

The European Union’s Stability and Growth Pact which took effect in 1999 seeks to limit member nation’s deficits and debts. It sets a 3% of GDP deficit cap which the Dutch are currently projected to go over by 0.3%. The moves towards austerity by European nations are not due to populace demands but rather an increasingly grim and sobering financial outlook. Despite resistance, King Willem-Alexander’s speech marks an important shift in European politics. The progressive, post-World War II welfare state has failed and its continuation is not financially possible.

“Lets Build a scaffold… a guillotine…. and rid ourselves of the Monarchy”…. wilfully pretending that ‘Democracy’ is synonymous with justice…. yet this is a great lie!

All forms of Government have their strengths and their weaknesses.
All suffer from the ‘Human Condition’ making them susceptible to corruption… so why Give any government Absolute power?
Best to strictly limit political power and leave Individuals free to take care of themselves and to pursue their own happiness.
Socialism has failed on every level, and Western civilisation teeters an the edge of economic catastrophe… and this King…. has in fact proven what are some of the virtues of Monarchy…. of being an unelected ruler and having a birthright which makes his self interest and the interests of his nation/ Dominion synonymous… The Fact that it is both his duty to care for his Subjects, and that he can speak an unpopular truth without having to face an election… ie his Seat of power is not so immediately dependent upon appeasing the Whims of the Mob… as is the chief problem of the demagogue.
A king still requires the support of his subjects, yet it is Easier to vote out an unpopular Demagogue, than to legally dethrone a King.

Back in the late 1700s, the American Founding Fathers discussing these questions of ‘What constitutes the proper role of Government?’…. John Adams said to Thomas Jefferson … “You Fear the Few, whereas I fear the Many…”

Whether Monarchy, Oligarchy, or Democracy… “He who governs Best… Governs Least.”

These are Issues facing all Western Nations…. All Nations.
New Zealand included.
We are currently going through the pretences of ‘a Constitutional review’ and yet it is a Charade!
So few of the Real issues are being discussed…. because the Status quo seeks to maintain and even strengthen the status quo!
There is no desire for any True reform….. no question of the surrendering of any government powers or spheres of Intervention, regulation, Taxation…etc.
It is a parade….. an act…. a formality…. for the sake of The Morons…. It’s the ruse of setting up ‘commissions’ etc so that the the powers that be can claim “due process was followed”… the fools can be duped into believing they ‘witnessed’ Justice being done…. even though the conclusions were all forgone… and not one ounce of political power revoked.

We are a local group of citizens with an interest in promoting the health benefits of fluoridation.

Could you please respond to these two questions:

(1) Do you support the resumption of fluoridation in Hamilton’s water supply?

(2) If the referendum results in a majority of voters in favour, would you support the resumption of fluoridation?

The opinions of candidates obtained from this canvass will be made known to our members and released publicly.

Q1. I don’t believe my personal opinion about Fluoride is what is important, but there are higher issues/ principles at stake.|Namely it is not the councils job to force medicate the people of Hamilton, which is what the pro-fluoride lobby seems to believe is ok.
My argument is the people who want fluoride in their water can find means of dispensing it into their own supply.

Q2. No! I do not support binding citizen referendums which seek to impose upon the legitimate rights of minorities.
Ref to my answer above.
Fluoridation is one current task which the council can rightly divest itself, and pass on to citizens as a matter of personal choice and responsibility.
