Yet let’s be clear about this… they will come back again and again until they get what they want *unless* some constitutional Legislation is framed that specifically and permanently outlaws this and establishes the fundamental right of citizens not to be assimilated into any such means of Absolute control or Social credit system.

This needs to be coupled with an Iron clad right to privacy which prevents Banks spying on what citizens are spending their money on, or from being able to demand to know what large withdraws of cash are being used for. The right to use cash must also be constitutionally guaranteed.

Governments must also be constitutionally barred from attempts to impede free speech on line.
This has become an essential right to defend freedom from tyrannical agendas.

Then there is the violations of privacy from setting up surveillance cameras on every street corner. There must be legislative protections that forbid governments from using these to imprison individuals from freedom of movement (outlaw the concepts of 15min cities- Carbon limits, etc)

All these legislative moves are required because of massive leaps in technology that Governments and corporations have been deploying against us without mandate from We the people… implementing Tech programs that exponentially increase government and corporate power at the expense of the peoples Rights and liberties.

All the legislative changes I’m suggesting are all *Limits to State and Corporate intrusions* of Citizens lives the absence of which has allowed totalitarian designs and agendas to be devised and rolled out taking advantage of the Void of protective limits on the use of technology.

We have also witnessed Starmers outrage against X’s Grok because Grok is allowing users to create what’s been called ‘Deep fake’ videos of politicians (Starmer included) wearing Bikini’s etc.
This has been described as the equivalent of ‘Satire Cartoons’ that have existed since the dawn of time and is therefore legitimate free speech/humor… yet Starmer is using this as pretext for moral outrage and opportunity to pass more laws that impede Free speech.
I have talked about my concerns about AI ‘Deep fakes’ and my belief they all should carry a watermark to prevent people from assuming these fakes to be truth.

New Zealand First has today introduced a Member’s Bill that would protect New Zealanders’ ability to use cash. The Bill will provide for the enduring use of cash as a private, accessible, and reliable method of payment.

“People who rely on cash due to barriers to digital banking deserve assurance that cash will be preserved in the increasingly digital world”, New Zealand First Leader Winston Peters’ says.

The “Cash Transactions Protection Bill” would mandate vendors in trade to accept cash payments for goods valued up to $500.

The Bill acknowledges that cash is a critical tool for vulnerable populations like those in
rural communities, the elderly, and low-income earners who may experience barriers to digital banking. It mandates that vendors accept cash payments and have sufficient cash infrastructure to support access to cash and its circulation.

“The Bill ensures that New Zealander’s maintain freedom of choice in how they pay, preserving cash as what it should be: an enduring private and reliable option”, says Mr Peters.

“By protecting the sanctity of cash transactions, the Bill upholds personal privacy, maintains sovereign control over New Zealand’s monetary system, and lessens the risks posed by digital-only payment systems.”

Thus without cash I would be completely alienated from society and unable to function.

This is a quick opinion piece to highlight what I think is a very serious flaw in New Zealand’s ‘Healthier homes’ regulations that come into force July 1.

The fundamental problem with Socialism is that there are always un-intended negative consequences when Government seeks to use coercion/ compulsion even for supposed well intended ends.
In this case the intention is to ‘force’ Landlords to improve their rental properties… making them ‘healthier’ for tenants.

Sounds great if you don’t consider the negative results.

Firstly it assumes Landlords don’t care about their tenants.. or their asset… their rental properties… or the ability of Tenants and Landlords to negotiate their own agreements.

There are many reasons why a landlord may prefer to defer improving the condition of a rental property, and charge lower rents.
Mostly the reasons are economic realties.
Some might say that’s proof that landlords are greedy, yet let me tell you there are real economic and other benefits for tenants too!

We all now that renting out a house entails some risk to the landlords property, Carpets get ruined, wall can get holes in them, dogs chew on wood, etc.
If a house is a bit ruff, the risk is lower, and therefore landlords are more likely to charge lower rents and be more open to renting their houses to families with pets and children.
If they are forced to spend money upgrading the property they will have to be more strict on who they rent their homes to… because they have more to lose should pets and children damage wallpaper, doors, etc.

Rents will have to increase to cover the expenses of the improvements… heat pumps, insulation, etc… and these rent increases make it less affordable for low income families to be able to afford the rent.
For many Landlords the new standards will make math/economic viability of brining the house up to the new standards ‘untenable’ … and thousands of homes that could have been available for cheap rent will be left empty or demolished.

With less choices, less houses for rent. Rent must increase dramatically.
That’s the Law of supply and demand.
To build new rental housing will be more expensive and thus rents will remain higher.

This will mean the very people this socialist legislation was supposed to ‘help’… will be the ones most adversely affected… and many will end up sleeping ruff.
All because of wooly headed Socialist politicians who hate landlords…. hate private property.

In fact it is no stretch of the imagination to believe these socialists *want* to create a housing crisis so that they can claim ‘capitalism is failing’ and therefore this is a ruse to justify creating more State housing… *This is Creeping Communism by political design*.

When I was a very young Engineering apprentice living in West Auckland in the mid 80s, I flatted in what many people today would consider sub-standard conditions.
I lived in several sheds, an unfinished shell of a house, and in many ‘dumps’… houses that were on their last legs… often with other young bogans.
I even stayed for a few months in ‘Tui Glen trailer Park!
I must say those were great times, and I appreciated every one of those dwellings. They were only temporary, and I could afford to stay there on my low apprentice wages, and Landlords did not mind that we were young hooligans who would have parties, and pin posters to the walls, never vacuum, etc etc…

These ‘Dumps’ were life-saving *homes* for us… and we were happy to be there.
Now these examples are a bit extreme… yet let me tell you even poor families would appreciate and prefer such places to sleeping in tents, and cars… or having to split up their families… rather than have their kids sleeping ruff.

It should also be understood that the State itself is notoriously guilty of being Slum landlords!
State housing is a form of welfare. Many people become ensnared in them… never seeking to find jobs. work hard, and eventually buy their own homes… thus state housing tends to entrench welfarism and poverty.
Many State houses become squalid, and citizens are forever paying for this welfare dependence through taxes.

That is what I wished to say here today.
I thought my experience as a low income young lout living in West Auckland in the 1980s was worth tabling in this dialogue.
It makes me sad to know so many awesome old houses will be demolished because of this short sighted foolish Nanny State legislation.

These Chardonnay Socialists have their heads in the clouds and don’t have a clue about the real world.
They claim they know what’s best, or acceptable for everyone.
Dangerous Pompous twits whose anti-freedom legislations impoverish and cripples our society.
I guarantee you most poor people living in houses that are to be condemned will prefer the Government to BUGGER OFF!

People living in such places learn how to make them tolerable, livable, and homely.
A bit of moisture on the inside windows was normal *for everyone* in the 70s,80s….
Mold can be cleaned with a little bleach… it does not have to be left to take over.
This legislation will be very grievous for poor rural communities in which whole villages will not comply.

People must take responsibility for themselves.
In my Libertarian opinion it’s not the governments job to write of homes that people are willing to rent.
It’s all relative.
Ironically because of this type of legislation we could even see the growth of ‘Homeless camps’… absolutely degrading and squalor!
*Now that is real poverty and a danger to health* .

My sojourn in some of West Auckland’s dives was short lived. I completed my Engineering apprenticeship and now own a mid-priced home in the Waikato.
Mortgage free.
My story is not that unique, yet I could easily imagine that had these laws been in place back in the 80s I may have found myself sleeping on the street.

Given all the world is in a panic about the declining stock market which the Global media is blaming on Donald Trumps New Tariffs, a friend knowing I support Donald Trump asked me if this economic downturn and chaos had shaken my support for Trump?

What follows is my reply… I believe this is an important topic worthy of a Blog article.

I said…
Trump said he was looking at Tariffs before the election so he did not breach any election promises. I commented at the time that I generally support Trump for POTUS over the Corrupt and incompetent Kamala Harris. That was a no brainer.

I was surprised that Trump won… I guess his victory was too big to rig this time… and there was heavier scrutiny going on for 2024 than 2020… yet the sane half of the world have been wondering what diabolical plot the Globalists and Dems are plotting to destroy his presidency. Last time it was Covid 19 that was used to thwart the economic miracle of his first term.

Like Julius Caesar… Trump was surrounded by enemies posing as his friends… looking for opportunity to put the knife in. They tried to jail him and assassinate him. They slandered him and labeled him a felon… yet he still made it to the White house because of the overwhelming support he has with the American people.

Many Observers such as myself predicted the Globalists and Bankers would seek to collapse the economy this term… and blame Trump. So with this in mind I am not so quick to swallow the MSM narrative that the drops on the stock market can be wholly attributed to Trumps Tariffs. I believe The Bankers/ Black Rock/ the WEF / Soros are up to their ‘Puppet master tricks’ moving their billions about… creating market uncertainty, etc… and of course Just like the Dems have been encouraging violence and angst against Tesla … to punish Elon Musk for assisting Trump in dismantling their tower of corruption… they do not give a shit that they have put the peoples retirement funds into Tesla stock… so that millions of elder Americans now watch their Retirement funds tank as a result of Tesla stocks decline… Satan Laughing spreads his wings!… by such means from the shadows the evil powers are able to undermine Trumps popular support. 99% of this being their manipulations rather than Trumps Tariffs.

People are easily duped, esp when feeling a pinch themselves.

The Globalists are hell bent on trying to start World war 3 which would be another massive set back for America and Trumps Administration. He wants peace and stability… a quick end the The Ukraine War while Zelensky and Europe (and the WEF) are all agitating for an escalation)… No mention of what affects that might have on the Stock market aye????

Of course Trumps Tariffs are having negative impacts on the US and the world. Just as I had already declared they would.

They are also having some beneficial results for America that will kick in and some point, yet the Media does not point this out… does not remind people of many of the unfair trade practices/ tariffs other countries were using against the US or that Trumps Tariffs were an attempt on his part to renegotiate such arrangements that were skewed against America.

Ie Trumps tariffs were supposed to be temporary.

But then I herd the moot that He might try instead of removing such tariffs as have been put on imports from New Zealand (10%) that instead he was thinking of chopping income tax. This would act to relieve Americans of any extra taxes they pay on tariffs, and fund the US Gov via import duties rather than income taxes. Which is how America used to function… with zero income tax until the early 20th century.

This idea would offset his tariffs burden on citizens and make the cost of Goods made in America cheaper, both on the domestic market and for export. (yet still many negative aspects of having tariffs would remain)
These are massive changes to an economy and in trade relations… yet we might understand Trumps bold moves are due to the ticking clock on his administration… before he leave the Whitehouse for good.

It’s ironic because in times past Tariffs were a preferred tactic of the Left! With the idea of protecting The employment of their own nation’s workforces from facing outside competition, yet we now have the Left bawking at Trump for seeking to do this very thing for American workers. If Trump started quoting Karl Marx they would still call him a Nazi!

If I was an American voter would I vote for Trump now?
Given the alternative was Kamala Harris my answer must be Hell yes! Not because I’m impervious to Trumps faults… But because just how close the Western world came to being overthrown by Globalist totalitarianism …. had she become president.
She is a total Sock Puppet.

America’s debt and the Global economy have been teetering on the edge of collapse for the past 15+ years.
Do you remember them talking about ‘the fiscal cliff’???
It is not a matter of If… but when… this mega collapse was going to hit… because none of the world powers seemed willing to make the painful changes necessary to stop the ship sinking.

Trump and Elon had done the Math and realised *they must do something!*.
They decided they would not carry on playing the game under the rules the Deep state and the Rino’s and Dems had created and that was leading the world into ruin.

They decided they would take on the corruption and dept knowing full well what a nest of vipers this would stir up… and that there would be some economic pain while they performed their surgery… The end result being a reduction of spending, a reduction of Dept, a reduction of Corruption and waste, and a more vibrant US infrastructure and economy. And a purged and purified Justice system. And an end to Woke and Climate slavery.

They have a first class team to help them do these things…

Yet they have a dedicated Ideological enemies who control the media and are hell bent on controlling all of the Narratives… all of the time… and using this they dupe billions into turning against what Trump is trying to do. … and you lap it all up… like… post… and share.

There are countless reasons why Trump’s Tariffs are not smart. Go read Adam Smith’s ‘Wealth of Nations’.

One of his delusions is this theory of the so-called ‘trade imbalance’ between the US and other nations.
The Idea being Other countries are selling their goods in the US marketplace, but not buying American goods in their own. This is partially correct, and yet this does not equate to the *negative Impact* for America he assumes, because… and here’s the kicker… the imbalance exists in the form of Cash… eg US Dollars which the other nation will use in trade deals with other nations …. they accept the US currency… and ultimately… no matter how many times that money is exchanged between other nations… that money will be used to buy US goods!
*balancing* Trade. That ultimately is why everyone accepts US dollars… or any other ‘preferred currency of exchange’.
Trump has stated he is jealous to ensure the US Dollar remains the Global currency of trade, and yet his Tariffs actually work to undermine the US Dollars dominance in global Trade.

Typical for me… I procrastinated and worried so long about this proposed new Legislation that I allowed the deadline for public submissions to creep right up to the final hours.
I was forced to hastily throw together a very ruff submission which I have just dispatched through the Government Submissions engine here.

I must apologize for the poor quality of my submission.
I could not allow this Bill to pass into law without raising some sort of protest.

To The Committee.

I oppose Judith Colin’s ‘Gene Technology Bill’ as a most dangerous and subversive proposal that not only threatens to destroy our nations reputation for producing the safest and best food in the world, it also seeks to enact laws that trample the New Zealand Bill of rights under foot, by permanently legislating away New Zealanders rights to refuse medical treatments. This is esp outrageous given the whole world is trying to recover from the massive damage done to the national economies of the world because of Gross Mismanagement of the Covid 19 Pandemic including thousands of Deaths and injuries caused by the Vaccines.
Let us not forget Covid 19 was a genetically modified organism Engineered in a Lab!
That Judith Collins has included these sections in her bill that directly attack New Zealanders rights, and seeks to set up very lax non-parliamentary processes whereby medications and other intrusions can be imposed upon us exposes her ( in my opinion) as an extremely corrupt politician that does not have the peoples interests at heart.

The very purpose of having a Bill of rights is supposed to be a safeguard of citizens rights that blocks legislation like this Gene Technology Bill from being passed into law!
I call upon this committee not to allow this violation… but instead to reject the Bill because it seeks to contravene and nullify the New Zealand Bill of rights.

The notion that New Zealanders should surrender our rights to the determinations of an unelected medical bureaucrat simply on the basis of ‘any Two foreign health agencies recommending some medical intervention be mandatory’ …. is an absolute travesty!
How easily will it be to find merely ‘two’ out of hundreds of ‘Foreign Health authorities’ that will recommend mandatory medical interventions!
The world is awash with such institutions that pay no mind to such things as the rights of individuals!
It’s ridiculous!
That is to place the medical determinations of New Zealand into foreign hands!
*We don’t give a dern what foolish and tyrannical decisions are made in foreign counties… or dodgy international bodies like the WHO!
We demand our National independence and rights be upheld including the rights of New Zealand Citizens to refuse medical treatments.

We demand Politicians like Judith Collins pull her tyrannical head back in and acknowledge the NZ Bill of rights!
That’s her obligation as a servant of the citizens of New Zealand.
We are a democracy. Members of parliament are supposed to serve us the people of New Zealand… not their own financial interests… selling out our country to giant international corporations.
New Zealand currently has robust legislation that protects our National interests in Farming and food production from the very real dangers that are inherent in Genetic engineering and Gene technology.

The current laws protect New Zealand farmers and Consumers from Genetically modified organisms escaping into our environment or being put into our Food by stealth.
The desire to do away with these safeguards comes not from the people of New Zealand but from Mega corporations ‘Big Food’… who are interested to taking control of our entire food industries… for profit for the fat few… with zero benefits for the general public.
The way this would work is Big Food will get to contaminate our environment with patented Frankenstein organisms… and push small farmers and families out of business and reap obscene profits for themselves… having destroyed organic farming in New Zealand… and farming as a Kiwi family way of life.

She is trying to force Genetically modified organisms and Gene technology on to us against our will.
We don’t want GE Food… we are not so stupid as to believe any of the bogus claims the GE Food will deliver any significant benefits to the average Kiwi.

We demand any Product sold in New Zealand containing GE organisms be clearly labeled so we can avoid purchasing such dodgy Corporate muck and instead support Pure NZ Goodness.

New Zealanders can grow plenty of Fresh pure NZ Goodness enough to feed our selves and millions more the world over.

People like her also wish to remove the requirement of GE labeling on all products sold in NZ.
Why do Interests like this always wish to remove such mandatory declarations?

Because they know *Consumers* don’t want GM Products! Ie Consumers will not willingly prefer GM food over Natural food if they can tell the difference!

So this is about deceiving the consumers… for the sake of Mega corporations and their Patented GM Crap!

Furthermore… *on the basis of property rights* We New Zealanders do not consent to GM Crops being grown here in NZ *because You cannot guarantee the GM/GE organisms and gene technologies will not escape into the wider environment…. contaminating the property and crops of others who do not want GM/GE organisms on their farms or in their food!

Therefore it is upon Libertarian first principles that I demand the Government prohibit all GM’GE organisms and Gene Technologies unless they are grown under such strict and secure conditions that guarantees they will not contaminate the property or crops of others.
The problem for Big Food and Judith Collins is that Robust protections that insist on rigid containment of Gene technologies make them unviable and unprofitable…

The Big corporations want the people to sacrifice their rights just so they can make a fortune without bearing full responsibility for the risks their activities cause to others.
That is why Judith Collins seeks to do away with current Legal safeguards that impose strict controls on Genetically modified organisms and so-called ‘Gene technology’.

The potential for absolute disaster from removing current safeguards controlling Gene Technology is a massive risk.
That’s for fools.
We New Zealanders don’t want anything to do with it.
WE seek to protect our Brand as being ‘Pure NZ Goodness’.
That is a winning strategy that will guarantee our Products are loved and respected the whole world over.

Recommendations…

I hope The committee informs Parliament that you have received strong public opposition to this Bill. and recommend the Bill be scrapped, and that current protections that control Gene technology be maintained… not loosened.

Secondly that The Bill be rejected because of it’s tyrannical sections which empower Health officials to impose mandatory Medical interventions, with  contravene the New Zealand Bill of Rights, esp in regard to section 11 and  New Zealanders Right to refuse medical treatments…

Important note: This is not an attack on Maori students, or ordinary Maori. This is an attack on the shameful rubbish that is being peddled by Racist radicals posing as scholars and professors in our universities that is filling our young peoples minds with toxic lies about the history of our country and about very serious social problems going on today.
It is a rebuke of hopeless politicians like PM Chris Luxon who allow this travesty to go on indefinitely.

Just recently many New Zealanders were stupefied to learn ‘Maori scientists’ had been granted $4m Tax dollars by the NZ Gov to try and heal Kauri Die-back disease by playing recorded whale songs. The Oranga Project defended its methods, on its website referencing the cultural and scientific context of their work.

“Māori whakapapa describes how the kauri and tohorā (sperm whale) are brothers, but they were separated when the tohorā chose the ocean over the forest,” the project said on its website.

This is a gigantic farce and the people of New Zealand have had a guts full of being fleeced by snake oil salesmen under the guise of ‘honouring the Treaty’.

Nobody believes that Kauri trees and whales are brothers!
That may have been a belief 200 years ago… yet today no Maori believes that!

It’s the same sort of rubbish as has recently happened in parliament when the entire house voted that Mount Taranaki be recognised as a Legal person!

Maori ‘Academics’ claim the obscenely high incidence of child abuse in Maori communities is not their fault!
We are told it’s not because Maori lack self-control and Ethics…. no… Maori academics like Associate Professor Leonie Pihama says colonisation is the root cause of the high rates of Maori child abuse.

She blames History, White people, and racist systemic oppression for Maori murdering and abusing their kids!

Not a hint of self responsibility in sight!

I wrote an article about another shyster Gov Report (like He pua pua) called ‘A Vessel of tears’ that blames Maori crime on colonisation, and we can see the justice Dep trying to implement these racist lies when in October last year, due to public backlash NZ Solicitor General Una Jagose KC was forced to withdraw her controversial guidelines she had issued instructing judges to create a two tier sentencing hierarchy which gives Maori lower sentences than non-Maori on the basis that they have ‘suffered colonisation’.

She revised and re-issued her guidelines yet she has exposed her hand…. she buys into the lies that Maori are not fully responsible for their own criminality… and that blame lies with Pakeha colonisation.
I’m certain a copy of ‘A Vessel of Tears’ sits in her top office draw.
