New Hub: ‘A 25-year-old Auckland man has been arrested and charged after claiming his prohibited firearms had been stolen in a false statement to police.
Police received a report of a burglary at a Coatesville property around 10pm on Thursday, 18 July.
The man claimed his garage had been broken into and the burglars had stolen two guns – a 9mm pistol and a rifle – from his gun safe the previous night.
Following a scene examination and a number of enquiries, the man allegedly admitted to police that he had hidden the guns.
The officers subsequently discovered the pistol and rifle, alongside two other semi-automatic firearms, hidden in the ceiling cavity of the property’s walk-in wardrobe, confirms Detective Senior Sergeant Nadene Richmond.
The man has been charged with making a false statement and is due to appear in North Shore District Court on Friday. It is likely he will face further firearms charges.
So New Zealand has its first Legal Gun Owner criminalized by resisting this freshly baked oppressive Law.
No doubt he is just the first of many more to come.
This shows us what we already knew… that contrary to all the Spin spouted by State Authorities via a sycophantic media about ‘overwhelming support and willing compliance from the gun community , that in reality there are Gun owners out there who are not happy at all, and some are determined not to comply, and instead are intending to keep their guns…. and who can blame them?
The extent of this rebellious spirit is a great unknown to the Police as they dont have a clue about how many Guns they have rendered Illegal by their new arms amendments or who owns them, yet these facts dont deter them from claiming the vast majority of owners are willing to comply.
We can understand why they are maintaining this empty rhetoric as they are relying on that narrative to dampen any hopes by wavering gun owners, that there might be a large number of the gun Community who are bravely sticking to their guns in defiance of the new laws.
This Aucklander was one of these ‘obstinate’ types!
Not cowered by the threats!
Obviously passionate about his guns and Angry about the Governments new prohibitions, and so he hatched a plot to keep his firearms.
In his mind… Desperate times called for desperate measures!
The Police are not playing games and obviously turned his place over pretty good.
Not a smart move attempting to hide them on his own property… With Expert search teams, powerful metal detectors, Dogs, and other gadgets the Police can scan through Walls, Deep down in Gardens, under concrete, and easily find Metallic objects hidden behind recently painted Closet linings and False panels etc.
And they can track where people have carried their phones with GPS accuracy out into the bush… they have surveillance cameras in Parks and Bush walks.
The cards are heavily stacked against anyone who plans to stash their Guns and wait in hope of ‘Regime change’.
It would take great ingenuity to defeat all this technology which is at the Police’s disposal.
Of course it can be done… Gangs and Crims have been doing it yet it takes far more Cunning, and extreme caution than this poor sod employed… esp at such times as this when the Police are watching out for this sort of attempted evasion and pouring in immense resources.

What has heavily impacted upon my ruminations of late has been *the far more mind blowing fact* that Jacinda Ardern and the Police have provided *no means* by which Gang members and Crims could hand in their illegal arms… *Even if they wanted to!*
This is a *Massive Flaw*… a gigantic stumbling block.. in achieving the desideratum these Power Trippers claim to be the fundamental purpose of the New Prohibitions… less guns in the wrong hands!
Far be it my desire to instruct the government on how to conduct their tyrannical ambitions, yet surely only fools cannot see the benefit of offering amnesty and Compensation for any illegally held firearms to be surrendered… no questions asked!
Not only can we be sure that this would remove *some guns* that are illegally held, but the Propaganda value of this move would be immense… and go a long way to quelling the angst of the law abiding Gun community that they alone have been target for disarmament!
One would think that every gun surrendered by criminals would be of much more significance in making New Zealand safer than any removed from the hands of the law abiding Citizenry … not only because it is the guns that are in criminal hands that are the greatest threat to both the police and the general public… yet especially because it is far more likely for would be future terrorists to gain their weapons on the black market… from this *this illegal cache* that is in the hands of Bad character types.
Any Fears that such an offer could generate a wave of new Gun thefts by criminals hoping to cash in on the Buy back scheme could be quashed by a caveat: that any guns handed in that were found to be stolen after the start of the gun buy back scheme would forfeit amnesty.
In reality the Draconian way the government and Police have acted in passing the new prohibitions, and their Bumbling and irrationally conceived ‘buy back’ scheme is guranteed to result in a minimum of compliance, and an even greater number of Firearms moving into Criminal hands and being available on the black market!

Gun Buy back schemes have a history of failure…
The Truth is that even the Australian Gun Buy back scheme when they outlawed semi-automatics after the Port Arthur Massacre only succeeded in removing and estimated 20% of the newly prohibited types, leaving a whopping 80% to be retained by Australians illegally, and many now changing hands on the black market.
I have read that there are 5 million plus illegally held firearms in Australia.
“In Australia it is estimated that only about 20% of all banned self-loading rifles have been given up to the authorities,” wrote Franz Csaszar, professor of criminology at the University of Vienna, after Australia’s 1996 compensated confiscation of firearms following a mass murder in Port Arthur, Tasmania. Reading the above ‘post’ from a Facebook Group, it is apparent the New Zealand Police continue with their belligerent attitude towards Law abiding and innocent Gun Owners.
If the report is accurate, they intend to run the ‘Gun Buy back scheme’ in such a way that is bound to cause Maximum Grievance and minimum compliance!
They are supposed to ‘Buy back’ the guns recently outlawed by Jacinda Ardern via shambolic legal processes, yet the scene is set for them to Under-value everything and thereby under compensate people for the Fire arms they are confiscating and destroying.
There is every reason to be suspicious given the dubious ‘process’ that has been ‘un-officially described’ and the paucity of the Governments allocation of a mere $168 million for compensation.
Alarm Bells should be ringing!!!!!
It is easy to infer The Government are more concerned about keeping costs down rather than paying a just price, which will virtually guarantee many Gun owners will rebel against being *Robbed of their property by the Police*.

If it pans out that the Police intend to under compensate Gun owners, why should they comply with such extortion?
The Police are obviously relying on intimidation to cause compliance out of shear terror.

If it is Robbing people You must all act collectively and refuse to comply until they pay you what your property is worth… *thats what Buy back means … and they are claiming this is a Buy back scheme…. which *always means the price is agreed and paid before the property changes hands NOT AFTER!!!
The Gun community must demand what means the Police are using to deem the value of what they are ‘Buying back’.
Many of you will be thinking The same thing yet will be scared to speak up because as you may have herd that Police are threatening to take away licences from Gun owners who even talk about non-compliance!

The Police would love to make it Illegal to even *talk about* non-compliance to their plans.
Yet Peaceful and principled Civil disobedience has been one of the most potent forms of democratic/people power resistance to Government tyranny and fighting Bad Laws.
Free Speech, and Freedom of association, and protest are some of the most important rights of the people to challenge State injustice, and the Police have no right to criminalise people for organising themselves into peaceful resistance and protest.
Any cursory study of the history of Rights and law reform bears witness to countless examples whereby Good people with righteous causes have used peaceful civil disobedience to fight legal injustice… in fact Few would be instances where law reform has been achieved *without protest* or Civil Disobedient non-compliance.
This always takes Brave and principled People to risk persecution by the State…violence, arrest, and even jail for the sake of Truth and justice.
I realise that though the Recent Arms amendments were enacted via farcical practices (esp on the part of the Police playing legislators) that there is now a legal obligation for Gun owners to comply, and that ultimately non-compliance will be in violation of the new laws and risks Prosecution, yet the Police ought not to be running the Buy back in such a Nazi-like fashion!
They should not be allowed to destroy *any guns* before the owners have agreed to accept the compensation offered to them and any owners who believe the offer is not sufficient their Guns should not be destroyed but become part of a second process whereby the owner makes a claim to value, and independent experts access this via Market values over seas… like for like.
Only by treating gun owners with respect can the New Zealand Police maintain Mana and receive Respect in return from the gun owning community, and gain maximum compliance.
Remember these people have done nothing wrong and they deserve to be fully compensated for what the Ardern Government has done.
We all know the Weasles in Parliament dont want to acknowledge the full amount of how many hundreds of Millions of Tax Slave Dollars they have wasted on this tyrannical legislation.
And if this Buy back scheme turns out to be a gigantic rip off how many Good People may end up in Jail because they refused to allow the government to under pay them for their property?
They will be treated like dangerous criminals instead of the victims of dangerously Corrupt government, and as such we can be sure the Jackbooted and Militarised NZ Police will not hesitate to Shoot people dead over the smallest acts of resistance.

Govt’s offer to gun owners unfair, risks public safety

“The Government risks creating a large black market by offering gun owners less than fair market value for newly-banned firearms and by putting political theatre above public safety”, ACT Leader David Seymour says.
“ACT believes that if the government confiscates private property it must compensate owners by paying them fair market value. The only way the Government will retrieve all newly-prohibited firearms, and keep the public safe, is if it offers owners reasonable compensation. It has failed to do that.
“There is now a serious risk that compliance with the buyback scheme will be low and that firearms will go underground. If a significant number of guns are not handed in, the Government risks creating a black market of illegal firearms without any regulatory oversight. That may be a more dangerous world than we had prior to March 15.
“The large public events at which gun owners will be made to hand in their firearms puts political theatre above public safety. The Government wishes to create a spectacle of weapons being destroyed en masse but, by taking the approach it has, there is no guarantee all guns will be handed in. This is the made-for-TV approach to public policy that has become Jacinda Ardern’s trademark.

Leading New Zealand ammunition seller warns of ‘revolution’ over Government’s gun buyback scheme
The owner of one of New Zealand’s largest ammunition companies has warned of a violent revolution if gun owners feel shortchanged by the Government’s gun buyback scheme.
Paul Clark’s company, New Zealand Ammunition, supplies both the Police and the Defence Force. He told RNZ’s Checkpoint that many gun owners were planning to intentionally skirt the law by hiding their banned weapons.
He was “absolutely sure” that gun owners or organisations would appeal to the courts over the proposed prices of the gun buyback, and he was currently considering taking an action himself.
He said that if gun owners could not access the courts “the only alternative is revolution”.
When asked by host Lisa Owen what he meant by “revolution”, Clark said “Literally, what I just said. What have you got to lose? What other alternatives have you got in life?”…

‘Illegal gun owners to ‘go to ground’ to avoid buyback scheme, says retailer’
Some Marlborough gun owners still do not intend to hand in illegal semi-automatic firearms despite “fair pricing” in the Government’s gun buyback scheme, a gun shop owner says.
Gunshack Blenheim owner Peter Watson said he had received calls from people in Marlborough, and around the country, saying they would not be handing in their guns.
“In reality the price is fair, but what they’ve taken away is not fair,” Watson said.
“They’ll go to ground and keep them until a change of Government or a change of policy.”
One Kiwifruit Orchardist drove all the way from Te Puke to Te Awamutu tonight so that he might stare National Party MPs Barbara Kuriger and Chris Bishop in the eye and tell them how the New Arms legislation they helped enact has not only turned him into a criminal, but also has grievously impacted on his business… affecting his ability to deal with vermin… rabbits,possums, goats, deer and many other unwanted pests that attack his crop and dig holes that endanger his workers in the field.
The National party plan to run a series of meetings around the country to discuss ongoing Gun legislation, this meeting was held at the Te Awamutu RSA, and was attended by a large mob of highly pissed off gun owners looking for blood!
I would estimate there was 300 people in attendance… filling the RSA main hall (The Mps admitted they were only expecting to use a much smaller space) and 90% of the people made it clear they felt utterly betrayed by the National party’s shameful collusion with the Labour Party coalition to rob them of their Gun rights.
From the very start many made it clear they were not interested in hearing weasel excuses, and demanded the two Mps *listen to the people*
More than one Farmer stood up and repeated they suffer same problems about pest control as the guy from Te Puke, and were outraged!
Adding the fact that not only was loosing their AR Semiautomatics a matter affecting the humane dispatching of Pests, but that it is expensive and impracticable to hire Pest control experts..who were also represented at the meeting and bitter that they too are also heavily affected by the legislation and in danger of being shut down unless by some miracle the Police find it in their hearts to grant them an exemption.
One Pest control businessman warns Banning AR semiautomatics will result in a massive increase in pest numbers.
There were Sports shooters and collectors who tore strips off these two National Party Representatives for basically destroying the things they are passionate about.
The people were not impressed with the weak excuses and outright dishonesty they received in response.
Both Kuriger and Bishop tried in vain to shift the blame onto Jacinda Ardern for how the rushed enactment of the Arms (Prohibited Firearms, Magazines, and Parts) Amendment Bill was a farcical and contemptuous violation of Due Democratic process. They told lies that they had no way of either slowing down the Juggernaut, or any power to alter the scope of the Bill … All falsehoods… none of it believed by the people present.
The Crowd was seething about the disgusting Police raids that are afoot…. guns being pointed at children,etc and after many people had expressed how incensed about how their sports, hunting and businesses were directly impacted, Ex New Zealand First candidate for Northcote Kym Koloni tore strips off them saying “Nobody gives a shit what policies you are going to take into the next election, we care what you are going to do about this Right Now!”
“Grow some Balls!, and start acting like a real opposition party or you had better make sure your CV is up to date because you will soon be out of a Job!”
She finished off by calling NZ First Leader, current deputy Prime minister Winston Peters and his sidekick, and Minister of Defense Ron Mark Traitors.
The Public Grilling lasted for over two hours.
One person quoted Jacinda Ardern Pre- Christchurch Terror attack as having stated that “It would take a Port Arthur type event in New Zealand before heavier Gun restrictions could be passed”
So Australian Brenton Tarrant provided her with the perfect opportunity to strike at New Zealanders Gun rights.
Chris Bishop was on the Committee that was supposed to have read the 12000 written submissions and herd the mere 20 people who were allowed to deliver Oral submissions, and told the crowd that though he could not disclose the Committee conversations, he said that some of the National party committee members tried to get exemptions for sports shooters yet were ‘unable to sway Labours Minister of Police Stuart Nash.
Nobody present believed they tried very hard!
The two Mps tried to hide their personal complicity in voting for the bill by saying that as it was not a conscience vote…’They had little choice’ but to vote as a block for what their Party Caurcus deemed would be the party position on the bill… to which one of the people cried out that in doing so they betrayed their local constituencies who have voted for them to take care of their communities interest … not kowtowing to their own party interests!
Chris Bishop admitted the legislation has Flaws… yet National still decided to vote for it despite this fact…. The People called that a betrayal of their duty!
One guys stood up and said instead of Banning all these Guns and having to spend a billion dollars on the buy back scheme why didn’t parliament instead legislate to shift these guns into the ‘E’ category which entails higher security gun safes, and personal vetting? to which Chris Bishop admitted that was probably a much better approach… yet offered no reason why that obviously less severe… more fair option was not considered.
That is when I got the opportunity to stand up and explain the facts.
1. These two MPs are not telling the truth as they were party to the shameful episode in the house in which Trevour Mallard and Chris Hipkins deviously took advantage of David Seymours late arrival to agree to speeding up the enactment of this legislation… the whole national party had the opportunity to slow down this process by a simple ‘No’ vote to Hipkins petition to race this bill into Law.
2. I said the reason why the lesser path of moving these arms to E cat rather than the outright prohibition was never considered *was because this was never about taking a rational approach because the Police had wanted to get these guns outlawed for years… way before the Christchurch attack… *That was the point of this Bill as far as what the Police wanted*
And I reminded them that there was a Safeguard of democracy that was being violated by the Police writing the legislation they also enforce!
Ie The principle of the Separation of Powers!
That is why The farmers got no exemptions, why the Sports shooters got no Exemptions, and why the Collectors got no exemptions!
*The Police were only interested in getting what they wanted*… to hell with everyone elses rights!
It did not matter that the people who are loosing their guns have committed no crimes.
What mattered is that the Police got what they wanted, and Ardern got what she wanted.
And the National party were fully complicit in all of it!
To Chris Bishops credit he acknowledged what I said about excessive Police power and influence in the way the amendment was framed was true.
Chris and Barbara said they were taking all this criticism on board and would report back to their party the views and feelings expressed tonight and would do their best to try and get some easement… some exemptions for Sports people, Collectors, and for pest control when ‘Round two’ of Gun legislation begins shortly.
They also mentioned round two may involve the possibility of a Gun register, of a review of what defines ‘a fit and proper person’… which is a frightening possibility that New amendments and definitions may allow the Police the discretion to deny firearms licences to anyone who expresses opinions or criticisms that neither the Police of Government appreciate… under the pretext that contrary views entail evidence that a person is not fit.
We only need to contemplate the fact that during Kiwi gun blog’s Mike Loders oral submission opposing the new arms amendments, that Judith Colins questioned if he was a fit and proper person to hold a gun licence.
One Gun collector talked about the fact that she had bought her grandson an antique lever action rifle to celebrate him getting his gun license… but now with the new Arms act ammendments his Rife … a gift from his loving grandmother …has been rendered illegal because of its tube mag capacity!
*These are the sorts of Rights violations that have been perpetrated by Ardern, and Parliament against Law abiding New Zealanders!
Its corruption!

More was said on both sides yet what was clear to the people present was that National party had sold them out.
I think its easy to infer the event was a bust for the National Party, who were sent home with their tails between their legs.
They have been given notice of the depth of the Peoples contempt for what they have done.
One Name however shone like a spotlight throughout the evening… Acts David Seymour!
His name would have been spoken over a dozen times and how he carried himself with courage and principle …though out this anti-gun craze… while all the rest of Parliament *Laughed* in his face and showed utter disregard for sound principles of Law, and due process.
Howls of betrayal rang out at the mention of Winston Peters and Ron Mark.
Seymour was used as an exemplar … “Why did not you two do what David Seymour did????”
I think The Act Party are looking to get a serious boost of Support from the Gun owning community of New Zealand.
The National party may think twice about rolling out these meetings across the country now they have had a taste of the wrath of the people… who wont be fooled by lame excuses for their betrayal.
Another important thing this meeting taught me is that any well organised protest down at Wellington would be well attended.
The Gun community needs to rally!

One thing that has occurred to me with regards to one of the Police wish list for the second round of gun regulations they are lobbying for ie: for a revision of what defines ‘a fit and proper person’ to hold a Gun licence, is not only that they will seek greater discretionary powers to refuse licences to individuals on the basis of lawful comments made on Social media that they dont like… maybe criticism of the Police… maybe critisism of Government policy that the Police like… but they are also Cunningly setting up a whole avenue of excuses to absolve themselves from culpability with respect to the up and coming inquiry they are facing with respect to why they gave Brenton Tarrant a gun licence.
You see if they posit the Idea that the current definition has significant failings… they will be able to argue that they fulfilled their obligations *as the definition now stands*… and that it is *insufficient concept* of who is ‘a fit and proper person’ that is to blame and proof that the government needs to ‘make it broader’ … ie give the Police more power and grounds to refuse licences on their own discretion and judgement.
Remember the Government and Police are only interested in this process being a one way road… in their favour… more power to them, less rights … and even less people allowed to hold *any* firearms.
Do not hold any delusions about this process being fair… or reasonable… or Prudent… or has any concern for the Rights and Liberties of Lawful gun owners.
A redefinition on who is deemed to be a fit and proper person to hold a fire arms licence will also trigger a whole new wave of Police raids Raids and confiscations…
New Zealand ‘Last’ MP Ron Mark, NZ Minister of Defense.
The New Gun Prohibition is a massive weakening of our Nations Defense capability.
You have to have rocks in your head if you believe New Zealand PM Jacinda Ardern’s new Firearms prohibitions outlawing Citizens from owning Semiautomatic Rifles and high capacity magazines has made our Nation safer.
Removing these Rifles from Citizens will render our Nation far less capable of National defense, which given how weak New Zealand’s Defense forces are already, we need to have a large percentage of our population well armed and competent as auxiliaries to our meager Armed forces for National defense against invasion.
Ardern and in fact our entire parliament except Act’s David Seymour have shown total disregard for the obvious and monumental *strategic foolishness* of removing this Citizen arsenal involving 10s of thousands of semi automatic Rifes and their Ammunition.
The Deterrent value against foreign invasion and terror attacks of having large numbers of these guns in skilled private hands is reason enough to condemn outright the new Arms amendments.
Armed private citizens with ARs have taken out terrorists attacking churches, etc ending the murder… saving lives … well before any Police were on site… this truth is what the New Zealand government wants to hide.
Where was New Zealands First’s Great defender of Gun Rights… and Minister of Defense, Ron Mark when this shameful, Unjust, and borderline Treasonous legislation was being passed? Cowering in the corner behind his Autocratic Party Leader Winston Peters!

The Police said that ANZAC day celebrations had to be cancelled, and that Ramadan religious gatherings also should be cancelled due to ‘ongoing security threats’… yet *nothing happened* in either case… nor did the Police release *any proof* that such threats were real… and despite the fact that Winston Peters flew all the way to Turkey to convince The madman Dictator Erogan that the attack was a one-off anomaly and that there exists no security threat to Muslims in New Zealand.
All this tells me New Zealand is being taken over by a Police State.

And Everyone must have noticed that after the Christchurch Terror attack that the Government stationed Armed Police with AR Rifles and high capacity Magazines?
Just about every article written about the New Zealand Police post Christchurch attack … whether about their disgusting Sunday morning Dawn raids, or about them guarding some Mosque or public event shows them en masse brandishing AR Rifles and high capacity magazines.
What this shows the thinking observer is obviously how highly regarded the AR is by the Police for the purpose of anti-terrorist defense (and for rounding up dissidents).
This being so it is clear that the new Gun Prohibitions against ARs is 100% opposed to *We the people* possessing these arms that are *the best defense* against being slaughtered en masse by terrorists who are guaranteed that should the wish to attack any public place… a church… or a mosque… they will meet zero self defense… ie New Zealanders are sitting ducks thanks to the tyrannic Anti gun… anti-self defense policies of our out of control Government and Police.
Not content with simply the demoralising effect of having theses guns on display during their recent harassment on the Gun community,*These Maniacs have been pointing their loaded Guns at Children!* That is such an outrage! to think the general public has been taught *NEVER POINT A GUN AT ANOTHER HUMAN BEING* never point a gun at anything you dont want to *Destroy*… yet these Mindless Minions think nothing of the Trauma they are inflicting upon the innocent… *This is what a Police state looks like*.

So I am saying that if New Zealand really wants to be safer… we should stop believing the empty promised of Jacinda Ardern… that her nanny state will keep us safe!
Instead we should instead be recognising New Zealanders rights to look to their own defense!
We should have more respect for the right to self defense… and more respect for Guns and the security they provide!
After what happened in Christchurch, if anyone is likely to be skeptical of Arderns bogus promises to keep them safe it will be immigrants and Muslims!
I would not blame NZ Muslims who witnessed what happened to instead desire the right to provide for their own defense!
The Government may be temporarily stationing Police outside mosques for the time being… until *they* assume the terrorist risk has diminished… and then the cops will pack up their guns and leave!
Yip… at some point the cops will leave mosques and churches absolutely defenseless again… just as they were before the attacks!
This bill does nothing to increase their security… it leaves them absolutely exposed to the next psychopath!
The solution is Obvious!
Everyone… Mosques, churches, everyone should be making provisions for their own security… which would include having armed guards… and better still concealed carry armed worshipers!
This is reality people!
The world is not a daycare center for children!
In this world dangerous. evil people exist, and the government cannot keep us safe.
And so when you do the math you find that the Governments rationale with regards to these new Gun Prohibitions does not hold water.
We see that the Police are absolutely out of control and are already confiscating Guns from Law abiding Citizens with absolute disregard for the September deadline or the fact that The Buyback scheme has not even been sorted out!
The Police are no longer acting in the interests of the People they are supposed to serve but are instead acting as a self-interested Power in cahoots with our Parliament that has thrown our rights and due process in the bin under the pretext of ‘a crisis’ and ‘Keeping us safe’.
The Ardern government thinks nothing of violating the Principle of the division of powers in allowing the police to write further Gun regulations and confiscations… as they so desire!
And we dont even hear a peep out of Nationals Simon Bridges on this issue *despite the fact that he is a high profile Lawyer!
This is because he’s not a man of Principle either.
And New Zealanders are such timid sheep as to let it all this happen without protest.
Of course all the reports of Armed raids with the Police terrorizing Families… some for simply exercising their rights to express their opposition to what the Government and Police are doing on social media is having a *suppressing effect* on open dialogue… some people comment on News articles about the Police raids warning people to take care what they say… lest they too get put on ‘the police list’.
Now this fear of speaking out… fear of protesting …effect works in the Jack boots favour as it renders the public incapable of rallying to their own defense… it makes it easier for the Police to continue picking off victims one by one, and so I say it is absolutely *essential* that in such times the people of New Zealand dig deep and find the courage to speak up… and rally together *in spite of the risks* that the Police may turn up at your door with Guns.
I am fully aware that by talking this way publicly, and by communicating with some of the people who have been raided that there is the highest probability that I am myself on the ‘watch list’, and that the Police would love to shut me down.
It is a terrible thing that I have had to explain this to my Wife and 8 year old child… Its traumatising.
You can understand how the actions of the Police are causing many people to shut their mouths and blend in with the herd.
*And this is what it was like in Nazi Germany, Stalin’s USSR, Kim Jung Un’s North Korea, China, etc etc!
People afraid to critisise their governments… and fearful of their politicized Police!

‘Businessman pleads guilty to distributing objectionable material after sharing Christchurch attack videos’
“Christchurch businessman Philip Arps pleaded guilty to two charges of distributing objectionable material following the Christchurch Mosque attacks on March 15th.
The charges have been laid under the Films, Videos and Publications Classifications Act.
One charge was for sharing the gunman’s live stream with up to 30 people. The other was for Arps requesting the material to be modified. This included adding cross hairs and a kill count to then be made into a “meme” for widespread publication…”
IMO a super-crappy and devious aspect of this case is that by holding this guy so long in jail before being able to make a plea the State has been able to pressure him into making *a guilty plea*… whose Agents via a series of ‘little talks’ about how much trouble he is in and how long a sentence he risks by going to trial with an ‘unrepentant’ attitude.
‘Better to plead guilty’ and ask for mercy….
And so he has effectively *prosecuted and convicted himself*!!!
The Police and State *Love guilty Pleas* for Political crimes! (Lets watch and see what happens with Benton Tarant… the State certainly does not want an open trial for him!)
Such a Guilty Plea not only means that the Crown has been saved from actually *having to present a solid case* but also our whole country has been robbed of the opportunity to see all the facts and details of how the police conducted themselves… etc… and to see *what real evidence* they had… and if these charges can be successfully lawfully defeated.

It is difficult to find many New Zealanders who have any sympathy for Arps… not only because most people find his behavioral and personal political opinions repugnant but also out of fear that if you dare to say anything negative about what the Government and Police are doing to him… you will be labeled a ‘White Nationalist/ Supremacist sympathiser’.
However I belong to several Political forums that have discussed this case and some people have shown the strength of character and wisdom to understand the dire implications of what has been done to this guy… and how extreme is the punishment they are threatening him… and all New Zealanders with should they dare to defy Censorship Laws and express views that the Government seeks to suppress.
And these Brave souls have spoken out against what is happening with this case, yet they are met with very sheepish responses that parrot the *official line* as to why Life feeds need to be ‘Filtered’ and censored… and these sheeple inevitably suggest that it is ‘indecent’ and risks ‘copy cat’ crimes to allow guys like Arps to go unpunished.
I have a few points I want to say to people who support what the government is doing… and plans to do with greater ‘Hate speech’ legislation and heavy handed curbs on live feeds to social media…who watched the video before it was taken down and outlawed will have enjoyed it, or would complain that after several days and sober reflection that facebook and other media *Voluntarily* removed it, yet I want to suggest to you that the fugitive aspects of allowing *the government* to force Social media not merely to Ban it *after some sort of due process* but to apply heavily controls on live streaming to the net as they are doing now… one of the ‘controls’ being delays on streaming for people with less than 100 followers… effectively halting live streaming for the bulk of *private citizens* while leaving a monopoly for mainstream media, etc… and this is *all about controlling the narrative* that the Government will allow the public to see….
Understand that *it is the Government* who hates the freedom and the power the internet provides the people.
For Example… Who has been embarrassed the most by the advent of the Cell phone camera?

Live streaming Police corruption and injustice has been a Great eye opener to the general public… and a curse to the Government, and they have been trying to ‘Ban’ people from sharing this stuff on line…. and so while they have given you a list of lame excuses to believe why controlling the net is ‘for your own precious good’… in reality there are a thousand far more important reasons they dont want you to think about as to why the government is *not acting* in the best interest of the people, but out of their same old motive for Power and control.
The very same thing is easily provable with respect to the New Firearms prohibitions… the government controlling the narrative have all the sheeple thinking their new laws are wonderfully progressive despite the fact that they have punished thousands of innocent people, and taken away their rights, and made our whole nation more defenseless… the only people who really gained are the government… and their ability to keep the disarmed population under their yoke… their ability to throw them in jail with less resistance… etc.
And of course the Party state wants to control the narrative on all current affairs and what information reaches the voting population.
The Governments of the world have also pulled a massive moral swifty on all this as if Facebook as a service provider is responsible for what private citizens post.
they are no more responsible than Bill gates is for his Computers being used for Child pornography, or Smith and Wesson are for their guns being used in bank robberies.
So by threatening to hold Facebook liable for things like Brenton Tarrants video is outrageous.
Likewise with the foolish idea that it is the Governments job to keep us ‘safe’.
Ie How the hell can anyone think that the Police can be in all places at all times?
And would not that idea be itself an abomination to personal privacy and Liberty?
The truth is we must be allowed to take care of *Our own safety*! that is a fundamental right!

And I would also suggest *special attention* will be made on those of us who have made public statements, Blogs, etc that protest all these heavy handed government actions and policies.
I will therefore assume because my Activism has been directly engaging the Government via submissions to the new firearms amendments, and because of my commitment to ending the entrenched racism of Treaty separatism… political views that have been deemed to be ‘Racist’ by The Minister of Justice Andrew Little… the guy who signs off on granting the Police and security services authority to spy on New Zealand citizens… that there is a greater than 50% probability that My name is on that list.
This is what the Nazis did…. The *Real Nazis* are doing the watching rather than the people being watched, yet the way the Spin doctors present the narrative its people like me who want Freedom and equality before the law who is to be deemed to be ‘A radical’…
This very point was raised by Chairman of the New Zealand Council for Civil Liberties Thomas Beagle… ” said he had “strong concerns” about government surveillance of people.
“What we would expect is that if police were [monitoring] people that they actually proved the reason they need to do it to the appropriate authorities and got the appropriate warrants,” he said.
“Our main criteria is that we expect there to be the appropriate checks and balances and that there’s got to be more than just a political view for there to be any form of government surveillance.”
Police declined to say how many warrants had been issued to monitor people since March 15.”

My concerns about this Bill are centered upon how it is part of a general and insidious erosion of Our Liberty and Rights that has been accelerated by the Governments response to the Christchurch terrorist mass murders. A response that was anticipated by the Terrorist himself in his manifesto.
Because of lack of time to fully expound my views on these matters There is much I have to leave unsaid and I will only be able to focus on but a single aspect of why I oppose this Bill.
I have spoken briefly on far more aspects regarding this bill in my written submission.
Today I want to focus on the right to self defense.
Because I am not a gun owner, this puts me in a stronger position than the Kiwi gun owning community to speak about self defense.
Its an extremely relevant issue with respect to what happened in Christchurch, and is in fact the key to a completely different response and strategy to what happened… one that instead of taking away rights as the proposed Bill does, this self defense strategy instead places more power back in the hands of the people where it rightfully belongs!
Yet this far more credible and moral alternative has been completely ignored by the government, and even the Gun owning community has shyed away from talking about it because not only do they know how antagonistic towards self defense the government is… the way the law now functions Gun owners are forbidden by the government and Police to claim Self defense as a valid reason why these firearms should not be prohibited!
And this is a primary reason I can confidently assume few submissions opposing this bill will have mentioned Self defense.. because for gun owners to do so is to run the risk of a Police raid and the confiscation of their property!
There exists a general dysfunctional culture of abuse, arrogance, narrow mindedness and antagonism by parliament and the police towards the citizens of New Zealand that is manifested by this bill and the other Draconian activities these powers have been engaged in since last month… all part of an agenda that is at variance with the Rightful duties of government and its proper relationship to the people.
A hell of a lot of political mis-direction and opportunism is taking place in the wake of the Christchurch Terror attack.
Immediately… and without any time to seriously investigate the circumstances of this atrocity… virtually while the Bodies of the victims were still lying where they fell Our Prime minister was already in full stride swearing that Gun Restrictions would be enacted immediately… which is of course political opportunism of the highest order… to ram home an agenda she had already subscribed to, one that would catapult her own fame among the Global liberal anti gun movement, ideology and agenda we see active all over the globe,
When you investigate this aganda… this desire … this policy to Ban semi automatic firearms we find it is not something that Ardern has arrived at in sober response to the Terror attack but is in fact a policy that has been the subject of constant pressure and lobbying from the New Zealand Police Association for a very long time.
Christchurch has merely provided them with the perfect opportunity to impose their desires without bothering with the normal processes… and safeguards for making laws.
What are the motives for this Rush to prohibit so many types of firearms?
a. I would never deny that obviously a primary motive would be one of Public safety… to try and minimize the the possibility of these guns being used in crimes against the public… very simplistic… yet appears noble.
This is the angle they have used to ‘sell’ their actions to the public, and to which the media have vigorously propagated as well.
b. Yet Let me present to you another motive… the obvious fact that the police are lobbying for this Bill from their own interests… a desire to mitigate the possibility that they themselves may have to contend with angry citizens when executing searches and seizures, or violent criminals who may have legal access to such firearms… resisting arrest, etc … which is understandable.
Yet there are many hazards in this type of activity when the Police consider it normal to try to sway the direction of the legislature… hazards that prove why the maintenance of the principle of the separation of powers is an important safeguard for just legislation and the safety of the rights and liberties of the citizens of the country, whom are the employers of the government and Police, and who these agencies are supposed to serve.
On the first count however we see a serious flaw in their logic with regards to a Ban on semi automatics to the general population for the sake of a handful of madmen, a massive gap that they do not consider… in that such a prohibition also renders the entire population less able to defend themselves should a madman or Group of Killers be on the loose.
Failure to weigh this greater consideration demonstrates the arrogance of the Police association, and their contempt for the right of citizens to act in their own defense.
The Math favors the rationale that the more of these guns are in the hands of Good law abiding citizens that the less likely Madmen will be able to carry out mass shootings of the magnitude we saw in Christchurch, and there are plenty of studies that validate the fact that more guns results in less crime, and also that New Gun restrictions do not result in less murder.
There have been plenty of examples in which armed citizens with Ar 15s have put an end to rampaging Killers.
On the second count which is the assertion that the police pushing the prohibition of semiautomatics and pump action shotguns are acting out of their own self interest I believe this is in fact their primary motive to why The Police have lobbied Government to ban semi automatics, and this too displays the contempt the Police have for the peoples right to bear quality arms in their own defense.
What I find is most disturbing about this motive is the Police are displaying all the characteristics of a self interested monopoly Lobby group that seeks to pervert the law, for their own benefit, at the expense of the community which they are supposed to serve… The Prohibitions they desire are antagonistic to the rights and liberties of the people… so by this means they are crossing the line between executive and legislative branches for the sake of their own power and have turned the situation into an ‘Us against them’ scenario
Do not think for a moment that I have no care or concern for the welfare of the brave men and woman in our Police force… let me clearly sate for the record that a very close member of my own family is a front line police officer, and so I do have skin in the game… yet I hope that I am making the point that it is the duty of the Police to serve, and to uphold the rights and liberties of the people, not to lobby and work to greater empower themselves and take away our rights and liberties.
It is only The Rights and Liberties of a Nation that makes it great, and keeps its people free, and distinguishes Free people from those who live under Political subjugation.
To be a Good policeman firstly requires a love and respect for Freedom and justice… a desire for our country to be Free, and for our people to enjoy their rights and liberties… and to display boldness in doing this difficult task without becoming antagonistic towards the rights and liberties of the people they serve.
Now I am not a fan of the UN, yet even their own documents on Human rights standards and Practice for the Police dated 2004 under the heading ‘Policing in democracies’ clearly states
1. The Police shall provide for the protection of public safety *and the rights* of all persons
2. The Police shall be an independent organ of the executive…
3. Every Law enforcement agency shall be representative of and responsive and accountable to the community as a whole
4 All police officials are part of and have a duty to serve. the community
5. and No member of the Police may participate directly in political activities.
The Activities of the Police Lobbying and participating in Propaganda to facilitate our Elected Government into passing this Bill clearly contravenes the principle of a separation of The executive and legislative powers on government.
They have clearly engaged in Political activities… conspiring with Parliament against the Community!
The drive by Police to actively engage in propaganda and the legislative process against the rights of Gun owners shows a contemptuous attitude towards Gun owners… ie is evidence of a Dysfunctional police culture and prejudice… and this same prejudice and contempt is clearly displayed by Members of parliament, on both sides of the house… those politicians who encourage the police to propagate fear, and lobby for heavy handed legislation.
So instead of a separation of powers.. we find Collusion… to defraud the rights of a portion of New Zealand Citizens… Legal and law abiding Gun owners.
This Bill is bad Law founded upon Corrupt practices.
Lets look at very recent examples of when a completely Different view is taken towards gun ownership by governments and Legal authorities with respect to self defense
In March A Judge in America has just struck down Legislation that attempted to ban high capacity Magazines saying that they had legitimate Self defense utility.
US District Judge Roger Benitez cited home invasions where a woman used the extra bullets in her weapon to kill an attacker while in two other cases women without additional ammunition ran out of bullets.
He said “Individual liberty and freedom are not outmoded concepts,”
He declared unconstitutional the law that would have banned possessing any magazines holding more than 10 bullets.
Italy has just passed a Home invasion and self defense law this month that Modifies article 52 of the Italian penal code, which now allows Italians to use “A Legitimately held weapon” to protect themselves and members of their household, making it far less likely individuals will be brought up on charges for defending themselves.
imitating this would be a far more rational response to the Christchurch terror attack.
In November last year Christian Biker Stephen Willeford grabbed his AR semi automatic rife and ran towards shots he could her coming from a church and he faced off against a Terrorist Just like the one who attacked the mosques in Christchurch!
He was able to Drive off the Terrorist who was murdering Christians in their place of worship… Wilfords fire forcing him to call off his attack and retreated to his vehicle… The gunman would be found shot on the side of the highway!
And for my final example I want to give you an example when AR Rifles were legitimately used by Private citizens to defend their own Livelihoods, Liberty, and property from the tyrannical actions and intentions of a Modern day Western democracy under leftist Liberal administration… proving that Citizens need such arms to defend themselves from Modern day Socialism in a country very much like our own!
How many of you are familiar with recent events in Nevada USA,,, and the Bundy Ranch?
Go do some homework people… yet be careful where you get your information!
The Bundy Family are Ranchers of who have Leased land off the State of Nevada for many generations and yet the Federal Government has been using very tyrannical means forcing Ranchers off these land… laying unbearable Tax bills upon them, and using the Federal ‘Environmental and Parks’ Bureaucracy ‘The bureau of Land Management’ (BLM) to try and forcefully evict The Bundys off their local state Leasehold land.
Now the BLM are not just smokey the Bear Park rangers, but a fully militarized force with Humvee’s and snipers!
And at the orders of Obama’s Administration The BLM turned up to steal The Bubdy’s cattle and they killed a whole bunch and they assaulted some of the protesters who had gathered at the ranch in support of the family… anyway News got out about what was going on and Supporters came from far and wide… and they brought their Ar Semi Autos and spontaneously formed a Militia… and they proceeded to face off the BLM Arms vs arms!
This event must rank as one of the greatest moments in modern US History!
That most people dont even know about these Epic events just proves how mainstream media is absolutely failing in its duty as the vanguard of freedom!
Anyway The Bundys and their supporters were able to force the ARMY of the BLM … and all the covert opps Black Utes… to Stand down… and leave!
The Bundys were left on their property and with their cattle!
Later The federal government would attempt other means by which to destroy the Bundys… They Ambushed, and Murdered one of their most Principled and Patriotic supporters and friend Lavoy Finicum and would via devious means arrest the Bundy men… and attempt to frame them in court… not once… but twice!
Both times the Court found that the Bundy’s were Upright men and acted in full accord with their rights in defense of their property against state agencies that were acting in a corrupt and unlawful way!
The Bundys were acting within their constitutional Rights to Bear Arms… AR 15s… in their own defense against a Tyrannical Government Agency… The BLM Had they not done so The BLM would have taken Their cattle and destroyed their Lives.
The last judgement acquitting the Bundy’s *with prejudice* … a term that not only means they can never again be tried for the same reason… but also indicates how contemptible the court found the activities of the Federal prosecution!
Go study these things… Go to the Bundy’s themselves and see how they are just an all American cowboy family and how their story is an absolute vindication of the second amendment and the need for citizens to have AR semi automatics… and their *Legal right* to point these ARs at Government agents who are acting in an unjust and tyrannical manor… breaking the Law!
Yes Modern day Democratic Governments just like ours can… and do behave like criminals!
And we are seeing this behavior right now in New Zealand since the Christchurch atrocity… Squads of Police are at this very moment Trawling facebook and the internet and when they find any gun owner has commented on a Group that has been ‘flagged’… etc they are rolling around to these Law abiding citizens and gun owners and demanding to see their gun safes… and are threatening them with Gun confiscations… and trying to start altercations as pretense to seize arms of these innocent Citizens for the crime of making a comment on a facebook Page Jacina Arden does not like!
Where will this end?
It will end precisely like Venezuela! Where The Government confiscated guns of anyone associated with the public protest against the Corrupt Socialist Tyrant government and so the only people in Venezuela who legally own guns today are the supporters of the Evil regime!
And today Venezuela is in its death trows of Tyranny, oppression, starvation, mass exodus, Death squads, an absolute Hell on earth… and this was the wealthiest nation in Latin America just a few decades ago.
So only Fools cannot apprehend the truth that such a horrific future could happen here!
Time prevents me from continuing my exposition on the vital importance of the lawful right to bear arms for self defense.
In closing the greatest threat to the safety and happiness of our great country and any other does not come in the form of Terrorists or criminals… or even from dangerous foreign powers… The greatest threat comes from social moral degeneration capitalised upon by Oppressive government that run Heavily Burdensome Police states… in the name of public safety.
Thus because it is a great delusion to believe the promises of Politicians like Jacinda Ardern that her Party State will keep us Safe from Terrorists and dangerous criminals I oppose this Bill and instead recommend Parliament remove the police from the administration of Firearms legislation (management of the Arms Act) and prohibit them from interfering in politics… in accord with the UN Recommendation of Policing in a Democracy restoring the vital separation of Executive power from the legislative powers of our democratic system, and also to frame and enact legislation that legalizes the Legitimacy of Self defense to be valid reason to seek to obtain and hold a New Zealand fire arms licence and firearms including semi automatics allowing those who prove themselves competent and mentally fit to own AR’s and Pump action shotguns for self defense, in their homes, workplaces, businesses, and places of worship and recreation.
“Ask yourself: If that was Denver, Col., if that was Texas, would those guys have been able to spend hours, days, shooting people randomly?” Noble said, referring to states with pro-gun traditions. “What I’m saying is it makes police around the world question their views on gun control. It makes citizens question their views on gun control. You have to ask yourself, ‘Is an armed citizenry more necessary now than it was in the past with an evolving threat of terrorism?’ This is something that has to be discussed.”
“For me it’s a profound question,” he continued. “People are quick to say ‘gun control, people shouldn’t be armed,’ etc., etc. I think they have to ask themselves: ‘Where would you have wanted to be? In a city where there was gun control and no citizens armed if you’re in a Westgate mall, or in a place like Denver or Texas?'”

Submission on the Arms (Prohibited Firearms, Magazines, and Parts) Amendment Bill.

To The Committee,
Kai Ora. I think it is important to explain a little about what motivates me to make this submission to provide context for what I am about to say.
This is only necessary because of the prejudiced identity politics practiced by a vast majority of New Zealand’s parliamentarians, who love to associate contrary opinions with ‘Hate groups’ and ‘Extremists’, etc and thereby dismissing their critics without a fair hearing.
1. I am not a Gun fanatic or Right wing racist extremist.
I am an Independent Libertarian Activist and Blogger, formally a member, spokesman, and Parliamentary candidate for the once illustrious, yet now defunct Libertarianz Party.
I now continue my Libertarian activities as an Independent.
Libertarians are *Not* Far Right. Only the Ignorant and malevolent label Libertarians thus.
In Ignorance Socialist Steeped New Zealand treats Libertarians as if they are some sort of Cult, yet in America Libertarianism is embedded in their political history and is rightly associated with a Love of Liberty and maintaining a stance of Eternal vigilance against the expansion of the State, and it’s ever creeping encroachments upon the inalienable rights and liberties of the people.
Libertarians believe in Limited Government, and reject the socialist idea that every social problem has a political solution, instead we believe in self reliance and self responsibility, and voluntary community action.
These are important Ideals and values, and Principles as they set limits to what are the legitimate spheres of operation for any Government leaving a large sphere of Independence, liberty and self responsibility for the people in which the state has no right to encroach.
If it does so, it has crossed the line of legitimate action and is then usurping unjust powers and committing crimes against the Citizens… this what a Good constitution and Bill of Rights is supposed defend the people from…. Bad Oppressive Laws… and Dangerous over-zealous Political powers.
It is truly tragic that these principles are so alien to voting New Zealanders… not so in America.

I am not a Gun owner, nor am I any sort of Gun fanatic, I love BBQ meat yet I dont like killing animals… yet still I have a deep concern about this Bill because of its patent ideological bent, and its dire effects upon the rights and Liberties of New Zealand Citizens.
That is what concerns me.
The government is turning our Nation into a Police State… right before my eyes… this is what concerns me!
I am a father of three… Grandfather of two, and I am greatly concerned about Government encroachments that threaten My Children’s Future liberty and Safety.
Like everyone else I am appalled by the Christchurch Atrocity and yet I believe this Bill will not make our country safer, but will achieve the very opposite thing… make us all less safe from terrorism. It will make our country an even more attractive target.
I have made many submissions over the years on a broad range of Bills from Prostitution law reform, ACC Levies, Constitutional Reviews, and most recently on the question of the entrenchment of the Maori seats.
I have spent years fighting Racial separatism, and advocating One Law for all New Zealanders.
I have been a vocal supporter of New Zealand providing a safe haven for Refugees, and I have promoted religious liberty and tolerance.
I have stood for Parliament many times over the past two decades in the Hamilton West electorate and for City Council, and so I am far from a political Novice.
In all these endevours I have been motivated by, and an advocate for the same Basics principles and values… the defense of rights and liberties of Individuals from Oppressive government and Law.
I am well aware of the political ideas and Current Socialist agenda that is unscrupulously attempting to capitalise from the resent atrocity in Christchurch, to pass this diabolical Bill into law, and other anti-freedom legislation.
2. The deceitful way this Bill is being rushed into law without rigorous Due process and ample time for Public Debate and protest.
I appreciate this opportunity to voice my opinion in written form to this committee on such an important Bill and request the opportunity to also present an Oral submission as well… if indeed Government intends to bother with such normal Formalities and due processes?
Given the absolutely unscrupulous charade that is afoot with regards to pretending this Submissions process is in any way legitimate, the rush by parliament to enact this bill without proper debate, and because they have made it clear that it is a foregone conclusion that this Bill will pass… I suspect there is no time allocated for Oral submissions.
All this renders this public submissions process to be a farce!
Nonetheless… for the record… I make my written submission in protest against this whole travesty of justice.
That the New Zealand public have only been given a week to submit to this committee is nothing short of an attempt to ram through law for which Parliament has no true mandate from the people!
When this current bunch was elected in 2017 there was not a hint that such drastic legislation may be implemented and so there is no way Members of Parliament can say they are representative of their electorates on these Issues and no Doubt if this Bill was was the topic for an election there would be far more Public input that would reveal just how many New Zealanders are opposed to this Bill… This is a significant number of voters, and they have a voice Jacinda Ardern does not want to hear!
The way parliament is ramming this legislation trough, they have acted in a very underhanded manor in only granting one week for public submissions.
Forgive me for thinking that no matter how many Submissions in protest against this Bill make the deadline, or how well reasoned and righteous are the arguments contained therein, that Parliament will barely consider any of them. They will simply throw them in the bin and enact their legislation anyway… rendering this pretense at Public consultation just a Charade.
Dark days have come to New Zealand!, not only regarding the tragedy of the Christchurch Mass Murder, but also the equally atrocious loss of Rights and liberties that is now being imposed upon our beautiful country… in its wake… by our thoughtless and malicious Nanny State Government that has total disregard for the rights and liberties of the people and only care about imposing their will upon us… treating us all like peasants who must be kept under with an Iron hand… without a proper opportunity to voice our protest!
Forgive my temper… yet I vigorously protest that such heavy handed legislation is being rushed into law without *Real* Public consultation or opportunity to mount proper public protest.
We all know that Parliament are seeking to impose their personal prejudices against Gun ownership, and hoping to get away with such a massive abuse of power by speeding this tyranny into law *in the heat of public emotion* with respect to the Christ Church Terror attack.
Using ‘Urgency’ under such Crises take away the rights of the people in such a manor is the tried and true modus opperandi of Tyrants from time immemorial!

This submission had to be written in unreasonable haste due to the Governments purposefully super tight Deadline!
By giving the public only a week to write submissions *they Know* this will seriously reduce the number of Negative submissions made in time.
The information informing the public for submissions on this Bill and deadline has not been sufficiently displayed or advertised, but virtually hidden.
This was yet another patently shady device used by the Government to hinder opposition from having a voice on this bill… and my hastily written submission therefore reflects my anger about all this Machiavellianism!
In rushing through this Bill, the Government has shown contempt for the safeguards of my rights and Liberties, and so I reward them in kind… Contempt for their shameful abuse of power and twisting of the legislative process.
3. The dishonesty which has preceded this Bill and the massive injustices it will commit.
That this legislation is being steamrolled into law… with only pretense to due process is a testament to its vile and underhanded nature!
If this Bill was at all sound and prudent, and truthful… it could withstand a thorough and robust, and ordinary Public process!
Yet those pushing the bill seek to circumvent the people having a proper say… and that Parliament sits in silent accord is frightening!
Only the Uneducated… or the indoctrinated fail to see what skulduggery is at hand… or appreciate what is really at stake… the erosion of Rights… the implementation of a socialist agenda…. and maintaining the sheepish delusion that The more Helpless the State renders us all… the safer we will be!
Propaganda upon Propaganda!
Government Spin doctors and their lackeys in the media talked of 15-16 000 firearms being affected by the new prohibitions, and that any proposed Gun buyback program may cost Taxpayers ‘merely tens of Millions’, yet now that the bill has been tabled, a New Zealand Gun Council tells us this legislation will immediately criminalise 250 thousand Citizens who have committed no crime and that should a buyback program be implemented it is far more likely to cost taxpayers 500 million dollars!
Such Gross and purposefully misleading under-estimates by the government of the scale of those affected and the cost to taxpayers is tantamount to Fraud!
Despite Ardern’s spin that this Bill is ‘just a start’… The Real scale of this Bill shows again she has deceived the people of New Zealand. This bill show Parliament are not making minor adjustments , but Sweeping Gun restrictions of Gigantic magnitude… without opportunity for the public to protest or Rally strong opposition!
This is Far reaching legislation by stealth…. not Open transparency… not how principled Statesmen would act!
Winston Peters admits the Government does not have a clue how much the Buy back will cost, yet he estimates $300 million.
At every point… from start to finish, the intent of those pushing this Bill has been to defraud the Gun owners of New Zealand with absolute disregard for Principles of Justice, due process, or that sanctity of their Rights!
4. The underhanded and prejudiced political agenda of Identity Politics that seeks to oppress Targeted demographics, while absolving the Bigotry of other favoured groups … its racist!
This Bill is founded upon very skewed rationale (that the more defenseless well all are… the safer we will all be), and is accompanied with a policy of Censorship, and Unscrupulous Heavy handed agenda driven Police activity that is turning into a wave of oppression destroying lives!
The Christchurch Terror attack has given the Left the only pretext they need to bring the heavy hand of the law against minorities they themselves hate… ie anyone who disagrees with the Governments liberal immigration and refugee policies, or is critical of Islam, or who even voices disgust when Islamic terrorists commit atrocities.
We are told that ‘Hate speech laws’ are soon to follow.
All these curtailments on Freedom and despite all the posturing and Head scarves… this agenda has virtually nothing to do with the Christchurch attack… and everything to do with the Anti-Gun Liberal Ideology of our Celebrity PM and her minions!
Its implementing by stealth The UN Global Agenda… and that is why we see universal cross party consensus on this matter and Arden is having a smooth path to enacting this Bill by Politicians who despise the Principles that underpin the American Constitution.
The Late US Attorney Mark K. Benenson, Once General secretary and chairman of Amnesty International USA spoke about our type of Conceited and UN agenda driven politicians who…” think of Gun owners as Primitives who need to be brought into the Modern world”.
When asked if he thought this same sort of Gun Controls as this Bill entails will make Society safer he responded with “I think this will make a safer world for tyrannical Governments and a safer world for Criminals who dont give up their Guns”.
5. Breton Tarrant and the Christchurch Terror attack.
This hasty process is not conducive to making Good Law, and cannot avoid great injustices upon Law abiding New Zealanders.
It is yet another example of the same sort of legislative bumbling foolishness that allowed the Radical Racist Maori separatist Tame Iti and his dangerous Radical Green Terrorists who in 2007 were caught training in the Ureweras to escape being convicted of terrorism… *because those anti-terrorist laws were poorly written… and rushed through into law to meet unrealistic deadlines during the same sort of hysterical Hype after 911!
Because of that, Dangerous terrorists caught red handed escaped Justice!
So Obviously by what is happening now with this Arms (Prohibited Firearms, Magazines, and Parts) Amendment Bill is that New Zealand Parliament has an incredibly short memory… and infact have learned absolutely nothing from history!
These Geniuses still have not understood the dangers of hastily written, hastily enacted legislation!
Yes…. while Jacinda Ardern is happy to incite the New Zealand people to hystera about *White Nationalists and separatists* she does not want anyone to point out the fact that Racist Bigotry works both ways and that in reality there are far more Maori Nationalists and separatists in this country than their white counterparts and these racist Maori constantly making violent treats against non-Maori New Zealanders and that we have these sorts of people in parliament!
Members of her own government.
Ardern certainly does not want New Zealanders to remember that Maori separatists were caught planning terrorism… with Homegrown New Zealand fanatical Environmentalists, planning terrorism against The people of New Zealand… and Brenton Tarrant The Christchurch Terrorist was an Environmentalist extremist and said so in him Manifesto… the Great replacement.
Where has been Arderns strong talk about New Zealand no longer tolerating the Dangerous Bigotry of Maori separatism?
You see Ardern only sees things the way she wants to interpret them… to justify her own prejudices.
Not only in his manifesto did Tarrant declare himself an ‘Eco fascist’, he also said that while planning his Terror attack, he decided to use Guns rather than other means (like bombs) specifically because he knew that not only would the Media go ape with anti-Gun hysteria, but that also Leftist politicians (like PM Ardern) across the globe would move to pass heavy Gun Prohibitions and that this would then result in more ‘Right vs left’ Conflicts and strife… esp between US 2nd amendment supporters and Liberal anti-second amendment Gun prohibitionists… and he was right!
Ardern and the NZ Chief Censor does not want New Zealanders to contemplate this fact that their proposed Arms (Prohibited Firearms, Magazines, and Parts) Amendment Bill is playing into Tarrants hands… and so they banned his manifesto!
Yet Banning the manifesto does nothing to change the facts!
Its just designed to make it harder for people like me to share these facts and wake up the people of New Zealand from their Stupor.
I would have liked to have provided this committee with verbatim quotes from ‘The Great replacement’ here in my submission, yet to do so is to risk arrest!
We pitiable New Zealanders are not supposed to access, read, or share it… and it is not clear that even for the sake of a submission to Government that if I copied and pasted it into this submission that I might still be arrested and jailed!

6.The Right to Self defense from Criminals, Terrorists, and Tyrants.
Now returning to Libertarianism and the Universal principles of justice, there is a subject… a right of which it is virtually forbidden to talk about these days in such Socialist infected societies as our own that worship nanny state.
Though it is an innate right and a principle of Natural justice it is nonetheless *almost illegal* in this country… and something that even the New Zealand gun lobby cowers from asserting… I am of course talking about the right to self defense, and in particular and relevant to this Bill I am talking about the right to bear the means of self defense.. Guns… not only against violent criminals… but also against tyrannical governments that show complete disregard for the rights of the people.
Yes… I am talking about that inalienable human right that is embodied in the American 2nd amendment… and why not only is it right, true, and just… but that also the Christchurch terrorist attack actually exposes the Great lie and delusional rationale of Gun prohibitionists like Jacinda Ardern, and leftist Liberal anti-Gun Socialists across the globe…. and that lie is that Nanny state Law and the Police will keep everybody safe from Criminals and Terrorists and so there is no legitimate need for people to have Guns, or any regard for their own safety as far as self defense is concerned!
Thats right… I am saying the Deaths of 50 innocent people in Christchurch may be to a large degree blamed upon New Zealand’s anti-gun rights laws and attitudes!
Why is it not routine for Mosques and churches to station armed guards for their own defense?
Why do people think that is such a crazy thing to propose… esp in light of what has just taken place!

So the whole Government propaganda machine has turned the focus away from the most basic facts, and instead made this all about their own agenda to keep the population defenseless and dependent upon the State.
To suggest that New Zealanders are lax about guns is absurd!… Its an absolute Lie!
A large share of Labour Green voting New Zealanders display a childish paranoia about guns thanks to the fact that world war two and the treat of invasion is now long forgotten, and having since been indoctrinated by nanny state into thinking of guns as evil… instead of Life saving and life affirming emblems of security and strength!
One of the chief reasons mass shootings around the globe happen in gun-free zones like the Christchurch Mosques is because coward psychopaths prefer their victims to be defenseless rather than armed and ready to shoot back!
Tarrant traveled extensively… even to Muslim countries like Turkey… observing… plotting… yet decided to carry out his attack here in NZ where the Muslims have been disarmed by the New Zealand Government!
Think about that!
This event was not a awake up call that we have been too lax with Guns… but a wake up call that it is sane to believe you can live like defenseless ducks in a coup with Nanny State looking after us!
Its a wake up call to why the founding fathers of America wrote the second amendment.
7. No second amendment in New Zealand does not mean New Zealanders dont have the right to bear arms!
A friend of mine parroted these naive sentiments… “We in NZ don’t have a 2nd Amendment for gun ownership in the way you are suggesting.
Gun ownership is a privilege not a right allowed under the direction of the government. If the rules change they change we have to comply. Pretending that we are Americans will not work here sorry. We are now have a new law that we will have to comply with whether we like it or not.”.
I had to school him…. “The second amendment does not ‘grant’ a privilege to the American people at the generosity of the US government… what the second amendment does is *Enunciate a natural right that all human beings have* and that is why it tells the government *they shall pass no law that violates this natural human right* .
So that we kiwi dont have a second amendment *does not mean* we dont have the natural right to bear arms… the means of self defense… we do have that right irrespective of what our government thinks or wants.. or compels!
The problem we have is that our backward Nation has no protection of our rights from tyrants and socialists like Ardern… and so we are exposed to the evil of a government that can trample upon our rights… yet that does not make it just… it means we are the victims of oppressive government and evil laws.”
This is precisely what is happening now with is Bill being rushed into law… It would not be possible if we had a constitution that embodied the just principles of the second Amendment.
So I am saying that if New Zealand really wants to be safer… we should stop believing the empty promised of Jacinda Ardern… that her nanny state will keep us safe!
Instead we should instead be recognising New Zealanders rights to look to their own defense!
We should have more respect for the right to self defense… and more respect for Guns and the security they provide!
After what happened in Christchurch, if anyone is likely to be skeptical of Arderns bogus promises to keep them safe it will be immigrants and Muslims!
I would not blame NZ Muslims who witnessed what happened to instead desire the right to provide for their own defense!
The Government may be temporarily stationing Police outside mosques for the time being… until *they* assume the terrorist risk has diminished… and then the cops will pack up their guns and leave!
Yip… at some point the cops will leave mosques and churches absolutely defenseless again… just as they were before the attacks!
This bill does nothing to increase their security… it leaves them absolutely exposed to the next psychopath!
The solution is Obvious!
Everyone… Mosques, churches, everyone should be making provisions for their own security… which would include having armed guards… and better still concealed carry armed worshipers!

The world is not a daycare center for children!

8.Legislating a bad and oppressive idea cannot make it just.
The only thing that stops a bad guy with a Gun… is a good guy with a Gun!

It will not matter if all 120 MPs from all sides of the Floor vote for this bill to be made law… This will not make such a law Right, or Just, Or Good, or effective… It will merely render our nation less free and more Police State-like.
No Divine Right King or Parliament can justly circumvent the inalienable rights of Individuals.
Any such decree and Law is corrupt and not morally binding upon any one…

Thus it is my final word that I vehemently oppose this Bill with all my heart and soul, and strength and might!
I believe it is not only Bad legislation, Unjust, and oppressive, I also believe it is absolutely counter productive to the express purpose of making our country more safe from Terrorism.
Instead I believe *Greater Liberty* with respect to Gun ownership and self defense is not only far more pragmatically logical, but also morally just.
I therefore recommend that the Arms (Prohibited Firearms, Magazines, and Parts) Amendment Bill be scrapped, and that instead the government should make legal provisions for New Zealand private Citizens and associations, and businesses to legally look to their own defense and to do so with the requisite lawful use of Fire arms for self defense.
May God have mercy upon the victims of Breton Tarrant.

I have not shared the Manifesto in its complete form.
I do not hold any copies of it either electronically on my PC or in paper form.
I have only commented and quoted it in reference to current affairs… none of which has been to incite hatred, or racism, but merely to critsise Government actions that have taken place directly related to the Terrorist attack in Christchurch.
I sourced my references to the manifesto by the internet *before the chief censor deemed it to be a prohibited publication*
This blog post was originally an *Important note* I had attached to my other blogpost here … yet because this thing incrementally grew as events have rapidly transpired it became absurd to leave it as a note that was almost as long and significant as my original post.

I have just been made aware that the New Zealand Chief Censor has Banned the Manifesto ‘The Great Replacement’.
The question has been asked does this also include comments and the like on facebook?
Some people think the law can be construed to include all such things… yet this Blog was written before this notification was made public, and because the law states “132 Exhibiting parts of a publication
A person may be convicted of exhibiting an objectionable publication if what is exhibited is in all the circumstances objectionable, notwithstanding that it is a part only of a publication that is not objectionable or is a restricted publication.”… I believe that the context in which I have used portions of the Manifesto that this falls outside these ‘Objectionable’ conditions as my quotations are legitimate Public discourse on serious political issues that are the legitimate domain for free speech and open political discussion.
And so until I receive any official threats of prosecution I will not assume I am breaking any laws by not deleting it from my post… as to do so will not only detract from my protest, but also be another instances of the very topic of this blogpost… the political suppression of Free speech and dialogue.
I have just been made aware of this via this article.
Now if I was using quotations from the manifesto to incite Racism or violence… I would fear that I was acting within the context the Chief Censor means by the use of the term ‘objectionable’ and would therefore be in breach of his Ban … yet I am only quoting it in context of providing the necessary facts for my criticism of these very sorts of censorship that work for party political ends against the rights and liberties of the people.
Will they also ban all global media from New Zealand internet that quote the manifesto?
How in reality will this work?
I encourage New Zealanders not to delete any comments, blogs or posts that are written in the spirit of Free and open dialogue without malicious intent.

“Most New Zealanders who have read this will simply find it repellent. But most New Zealanders are not the target audience. It is aimed at a small group who may be receptive to its hateful, racist and violent ideology, and who may be inspired to follow the example set by its apparent author,” said Mr Shanks.

I’m being Punished for Anti-SJW activism.
Here I sit in Facebook jail for a week for the heinous thought crime of publicly criticising New Zealand Prime minister Jacinda Ardern’s New Gun prohibitions on the net.
My sentence was immediate … without warning… and I had no idea I was posting anything that could be construed as being ‘an offence’ of any kind.
I was merely exercising my right to free speech and open dialogue as a Libertarian activist and Blogger.
The Rush to make the SJW Agenda Law and suppressing reasoned opposition..
Much to my surprise Ardern has devised a Machiavellian scheme to make her prohibitions immediate without following the normal due democratic processes… she says this will happen in due course… as if its a foregone conclusion that parliament will support her plans. and the legislation will be retrospectively enacted, and Liberals around the globe have been Lording her like she is some sort of legislative Messiah and calling upon their own governments to follow her lead… precisely like the Terrorist expressly wanted them to do!
I believe Ardern was instructed to do this by her Mentor Helen Clark, whom used this same device of retrospective legislation herself when PM to stop a high court lawsuit she was facing for election fraud and misappropriation! (search up Pledgcardgate… good luck with that as most of the information about this has conveniently ‘disappeared’ off the net… Clark being a UN Lefty Big wig… this is precisely the sort of inconvenient facts the left have successfully suppressed )
Whenever politicians use ‘retrospective legislation’ the people should be vary wary… and in the Case of Jacinda Ardern’s ‘Immediate gun ban’ she is circumventing the safety checks of due democratic process… that is supposed to prevent legislation from being implemented too hastily, and insure there is plenty of public discussion and sober minded rationale… tested in the public domain.

SJW Ardern is using the heat of emotion generated by the terror attacks to maximise the chance of getting this legislation passed without much sober contemplation by Opposition Mps or the People, therefore she certainly does not want dissenting views and criticisms about her new Gun laws or large protests before they are ratified by parliament, and so The Activist SJW Liberals running facebook… acting unilaterally yet deliberately are banning Dissenting voices like mine, and I have been prevented from posting and commenting for 7 days even though I have not violated their community standards.
They have done so out of pure political bias… while claiming I have violated their community standards… without any explanation.

I did not share any of the video footage of the terrorist action that was put on the net, that has been outlawed by the New Zealand government, yet to my knowledge there is no prohibition on discussion or sharing the Manifesto the terrorist published on line in which he gave his reasons for why he committed this crime, and why he used guns, and it would be the height of political suppression of the truth if any such prohibition was imposed because that would muzzle the peoples right to discuss this heinous crime, and understand it, yet it appears the liberal running facebook made a completely arbitrary decision to ‘prohibit’ posts like mine on this topic.
and in so doing they display their extreme political prejudice.
I have not watched the footage and I have no desire to watch such a barbarous thing, yet still it is a gross act of suppression by the government to outlaw the video and prosecute people whom have shared it on their social media. Its suppression is part of the general desire of the government to steam roll through their oppressive new Gun control legislation without protests from the people who may watch the terrorist video and realise the government cant keep us safe from terrorism or mass murder, and demand *more gun rights* not less.
The video has been shared far and wide internationally… The Turkish president Erdoğan has used it many times for its propaganda value against Islamiphobia in the west as part of his election campaign!
yet our Government has made it a crime for us to share it… and what they have not been able to suppress by law, The social media working in cahoots have taken it upon themselves to shut down critisims of the left on their social media platforms.

One of my people actually told me he consciously watches what he posts out of fear he will be ‘Zucced’ as this will affect his business and livelihood!

All it takes is for one slippery snake Liberal hiding in your group or friends list to report your post to the Facebook gestapo and you can find yourself jailed without any sort of due process… without the opportunity to say anything in your own defense. and of course these Snakes hiding in your grass never stand up and and say to your face they reported you… they are happy to remain hidden among your friends… These Judas types dont admit their collaboration with the gestapo to the rest of the group as they know they will be thrown out.

Before I was ‘Zucced’ I was busy on Facebook calling for Gun owners not to surrender their rights without protest. I was encouraging them to practice peaceful civil disobedience of the most honorable type… non compliance with unjust demands from the state.
With regards to the ploy of a government ‘buy back’, I argue that even if the government tries to bribe you into surrendering your rights Gun owners need to refuse to comply… In the US New Jersey State demanded all the high capacity mags get handed in… nobody complied!

Several websites including Voat, ZeroHedge, Archive.is, LiveLeak, and others have been blocked in Australia and New Zealand in direct contravention to civil liberties that citizens are supposed to have. The biggest of these internet providers, Telstra, has published a blog post defending their censorship action – even acknowledging that free speech has been sacrificed by company decision:
“We appreciate that it is necessary to ensure free speech is carefully balanced against protecting the community – but with these sites continuing to host disturbing content we feel it is the right thing to do to block them.”
In fact, some of the blocked sites have been unfairly lambasted in mainstream media as “refusing” to take down offending material. Let’s be clear, each and every one of the blocked websites operates lawfully – that includes removing illegal material when requested. These internet service providers (ISPs) in Australia and New Zealand have taken it upon themselves to play judge, jury, and executioner in their condemnation of these websites and their visitors just for exercising free speech…
