It was during that time that Miller said he slipped away into a celestial world, “The only thing I remember I started seeing the light, and started walking toward the light.”

He described walking down a flower-lined path into white light — until he came upon his step mother, who had died recently, “She was the most beautiful thing when I seen her, it was like the first day I met her, (she) looked so happy.”

Miller remembered, “She grabbed ahold of my arm and told me, ‘It’s not your time, you don’t need to be here, we’ve got to take you back you’ve got things to go and do.’”

After 45 minutes his pulse returned “out of nowhere,” Bishop said. ”His brain had no oxygen for 45 minutes, the fact that he’s up walking, talking, laughing, everything is amazing.”

Glad to be back amongst the living, Miller now says there is one thing he is sure of, “There is an afterlife and people need to believe in it, big time.”

I read an article recently that suggested that as many as 20 million people had had Near Death Experiences, and that despite Materialist monists fervent denials, there has been accounts which have ‘independent’ corroboration, and also other interesting ‘anomalies’ such as blind people ‘Seeing things’… for which the term ‘Mindsight’ was coined.
These experiences suggest that consciousness, thought, memory, etc carry on after Zero brain activity…. which supports the Dualistic theory of Body and soul… thwarting Monism which insists all our personality and consciousness is generated by the brain.

I find the article is interesting because it articulates my own scepticism about Materialist scepticism for Spiritual realities.

The truckie story above is a classic example of *What really happens at death* … ALOT!…. which Materialists have to reduce down to illusion.

I actually have a Jewish friend who died in a Car crash… was dead for several hours… and revived.
She reported seeing Jesus (which was a surprise… being a Jew), and meeting her Gand Father who said Nanna will be ‘here soon’.
She reported all this to her parents, and within a few weeks… Nanna had passed away.
None of this is explicable via notions of ‘hallucinations of a dying brain… loss of oxygen, etc’… Monitors detect Zero brain activity, and when people temporarily black out from lack of Oxygen they experience confusion and or memory loss, not Lucidity of thought… not vivid memory… and their black outs are not *Life altering*…. *perspective Game changers*…. which is a very common result of Near death experiences.
Objectively speaking, these experiences ought not to be written off as delusion simply because they don’t fit well with the common assumptions of the Material paradigm.
The Free thinker will be open to consider greater possibilities…. even if the evidence demands a person to forsake their cherished assertions.

I have taken my time to get around to writing this post as I have had other things to deal with, yet circumstances have now conspired to make room in my chaotic existence to take care of this very interesting and important monologue.

My regular readers will be familiar with the fact that I have been in communication with a New charitable trust which has started operating in my home town of Hamilton in the Waikato Region of New Zealand.
It’s name is ‘Hamilton homeless’ and was started when a woman by the name of Claire Chapman listened to her brother whom was upset by the fact that he had seen homeless people in the CBD eating out of trash cans.
Being a Religious woman ( a Mormon), She decided that she would do something about this…. And started bringing soup and bread into town and distributing it to the homeless.
She was overwhelmed with how many people turned up on the first night, and so she came back again and even more people turned up.

This was a revelation to her… she realized there was a great need for this charitable work, and with the support of her husband Kyle, and some of her friends… they decided to make this a regular and ongoing activity.

That’s when the Hamilton City Council came along and tried to drive them out of the City.

(Read about that >>>here<<< They said they had received complaints from business people who were unhappy that ‘their CBD’ was becoming a magnet for the dregs of society, that the Free food was making a mess, and that it was ‘unlawful’ to engage in such activities without a permit, and that if they continued to do so the would face arrest. Yet Claire would not be Bullied. She had met many of these unfortunate people… sometimes whole families whom were destitute and hungry, and she was determined to help them even in the face of these threats. The City council tried many devious ways to move them out of the CBD, suggesting ‘alternative’ areas where they would ‘prefer’ the Rabble to congregate… yet this area was far too far away from where the action is… Anyway the upshot of all this was that the Local papers caught wind of this confrontation with the City Council and so via the Papers, Hamiltonians of Good will became aware of the Charitable deeds of this fledgling enterprise and were inspired to rally from all quarters, and one and all were welcomed with open arms. Having now laid down the basic circumstances for Eternal vigilance readers as to how Hamilton Homeless arose, I would now like to get down to the central reason I am writing this post… the almost universally apprehended Ideal of ‘Loving thy Neighbor as thyself’ , and how such a widely accepted and virtually self evident truth can become the basis for not only peaceful co existence, but also for voluntary co-operation between a great disparity of peoples from all walks of life.

I want to point out what great hope this sort of Universal value has for the attainment of a Free, and peaceful society.
‘The Idea that we Ought to love our neighbors as ourselves’ is so self evident that it may even be described as a ‘Natural Law’.
It is my belief that Christ himself made many appeals to such ‘Natural laws’ because he knew that even among the uneducated… common folk, that he would find understanding… that the vast majority would be able to grasp the underlying rationale, and would thereby concede to it’s righteousness.

And this is such a basic rationale that once it has been articulated, It stands on it’s own merit. Ie It’s like Geometry… the Rules of a square… the rules of a Circle…. Are understood and accepted virtually universally… irrespective of peoples personal beliefs.

So in *this sense* the ‘ought-ness’ or Law to ‘Love thy neighbor as thyself’ may be said to be a secular truth, and is not only accepted by the followers of Christ, but also by many peoples of a vast diversity of religious faiths and political persuasions… including Atheists.
Despite many differences of opinions on many other points, the rightness of helping the poor makes as much sense to many Christians as it does to many Atheists, Jews, Muslims, Hindus, etc.

Thus Charitable compassion for the poor and needy can be a point of rally for any individual with a compassionate heart, to co operate together with others for the sake of this noble cause… and realizing this my friends ought to fill your hearts with hope that Libertarian Good will *Can* bring peaceful co-existence!

I sincerely believe that a small collection of these virtually universally accepted values can form the basis for a Social contract of Libertarian Tolerance, co-habitation, and peace.
A Free and peaceful society.

Theses values form a basis for universal voluntary consent to a
‘secular society’… which by the way is *not* an atheist society… Militant atheists have pulled a great swindle by claiming ‘secular truths’ are ‘atheist truths’ when in fact they are simply ‘Truths’ which stand upon their own merit…. Neither atheist or theist…. Eg a Square is not an atheist or a theist construct… it is simply a geometrical construct… accepted by all men of reason irrespective of their personal religious persuasions.
And so I beseech Christians and other religious peoples not to equate or surrender ‘secular truths’ as godless, but to appreciate their Neutrality.
And it is this Neutrality of the formulation of the ‘Natural laws’ which imbues them with the glorious potential to become the foundation of a truly Free and equal society.
You see to have a free and equal society does not require agreement on all things… only agreement on a minimum of Basic essentials… everything else falling into the domain of Tolerance, and the liberty of the individual to follow their own consciences and pursue their own happiness.
Differences may be rationally argued via free speech and freedom of association… with ultimately a policy of ‘Live and let live’ as long as the few basic articles of the social contract are honored by all parties.
It forms an overlapping consensus.

Having said this let me now expound how that long winded spiel correlates with Hamilton homeless, and the Menagerie of Individuals whom having seen for themselves the virtue of what Clair and Kyle were doing, decided to volunteer their time, and money to help feed the Homeless of Hamilton.

I cant give a full account of variety of charitable souls whom showed up.
They truly were from all walks of life.
Most of them belonging to Political or religious associations of which I personally disagree with on many accounts yet still when it comes to volunteering their time and energy to help the needy… I salute them!
For starters there was Claire and Kyle, and some of their personal friends…. They are Mormons.
Then there were some who had once upon a time lived in poverty themselves, and had received help… and having now recovered and are living more comfortably, they simply want to ‘give something Back’.
Then you had Yours truly… a Christian Libertarian whom has been looking for both fellowship, and a worthy Charitable cause to volunteer myself, out of Love and respect for God, and my fellow human beings… in need.

Then there was at least one Maori Radical political activist with whom I had crossed swords on several occasions over the Years.
She tearfully expressed her sadness that her own ‘Artist’ brother had lived ‘a gypsy life’ and had recently died.
Despite any political differences of opinion her and I have, I would never deny the truth that she has a compassionate desire to help the needy in her community, and I have read reports of her caring deeds at the coal face already.

What is amazing about this voluntary association is that it has the power to unite such disparate personalities in a bond humanitarian good will, and as long as the leadership keep things simple and focused, … this Bond should remain firm… and could even be the genesis of better understanding and relations on a greater sphere of values and ideals held individually.
This is an awesome concrete reality which demonstrates the potential for Hope in humanity which is to be found in Freedom and voluntary association!
Think about that.
In this capacity, Hamilton homeless embodies some of the Highest *Libertarian ideals!*

Anyway you may think that I have covered enough already for two blogposts…. I sympathise… yet still I have yet one last Bunker buster Bomb to deliver… one more volunteer to describe!
I will do my best to keep this last point as short as possible.
It could cause some people to withdraw any support they were contemplating, because it stretches the boundaries for some as to how far tolerance should extend, and it challenges the Tidy little Boxes we love to create in our heads so that we can with the least effort classify various individuals with whom we meet… and pretend to ourselves that this is all a very reasonable process.
When it began to dawn on me what/ who I was dealing with… I had to take a deep breath and take a few moments to seriously think about the implications.
After a quick contemplation of the situation, I decided that I would display the same grace as I …in faith…trust my Heavenly Father has for wretched me.

‘White power activist feeds homeless’.
The organiser of a group taking donations from the public to feed Hamilton’s needy has defended the involvement of her husband – white supremacist Kyle Chapman.
Hamilton Homeless organiser Claire Chapman says there is no connection between her organisation and the white pride group, Right Wing Resistance (RWR), that Kyle Chapman is director and founder of.
“My husband, his interests aren’t my interests; however, my interests are his interests,” Chapman said.
“Kyle is helpful and feeds the homeless every night he can.”
Kyle Chapman, the former leader of the National Front, is the funding co-ordinator and organises meals on Thursday nights for Hamilton Homeless, an unregistered charity.
The contact number listed for Kyle Chapman on Hamilton Homeless’ Facebook page is also the number for the headquarters of RWR.

You didn’t see that coming did you! :-) When I turned up to my first Hamilton Homeless meeting I met Claire, and she introduced me to her husband Kyle, We shook hands, and I said he looked familiar and that I must have ‘seen him around’. The meeting began and the conversations progressed about how everyone had a desire to help the needy in Hamilton. And I was pondering where I had seen Kyle before… and then It dawned on me! I had seen him several Times on TV fronting a Neo Nazi ‘White power’ organization! kyle

As you can imagine that was quite an unexpected cognition!
Here was I sitting… listening to a lovely and caring woman concerned about feeding the Poor of Hamilton… a large percentage of whom are Maori, and to my right I am looking at her White power Husband to whom she has three kids!

This meeting had gotten interesting indeed, yet there and then, I had to mull over many internal dilemmas.
There must be more to this guy Kyle than what is common opinion about what white power Nationalism represents.
Was He still involved in that movement?
How close an association do I really want to have with him?… you know how it is… “Oh Tim Wikiriwhi is a traitor to Maoridom… He Hangs out with the Nazi’s”, etc.

I’m quite used to being called a traitor to my race, yet still the idea that By belonging to Hamilton Homeless I was almost certainly exposing myself to even more slander was reason to pause for contemplation!
What Tim are you going to do?

As I sat there and listened to Claire’s efforts to get food to the hungry… many of whom are of Maori ethnicity, and the heartless persecution that she was facing from the City council simply to fulfil her personal conviction that this work was what God wanted her to do, and contemplated that her husband Kyle was in full support of her trials, it dawned on me that Kyle simply *Cant* fit into that ‘Box’ conveniently labelled ‘Racist Fascist Bigot’.

I decided then and there that I would throw away *that box* (or at least not try and force Kyle to fit tidily and conveniently therein), and to make my decision about how I would proceed based upon what I was witnessing first hand… That despite his past, that Claire thought Kyle was a decent human being.
I saw that he was obviously supportive and co-active in this noble charitable work, and so I decided I would give him the benefit of the Doubt… cut him some slack… some grace…. just as I need the grace of the Lord.
When I left the meeting, I went over and shook his hand and said I knew who he was, and he said that Claire and Him wanted to keep that separate from the charity work…. And I said that was cool with me.

A week or so later the Newspapers broke the ‘front page story’… $ensational $tuff!
I chatted with Kyle at a later meeting at their home… the very day the News article hit the streets, and learned that he was still a leader of the ‘Nationalist Resistance’.
He admitted that there are Racists in the movement, yet that he himself is *Not* a racist.
*WoW!*…. Talk about challenging ones packaged assumptions!

Here at this 2nd meeting I… the Libertarian.. sat between a Maori Radical, and a Nationalist Resistance leader… discussing how they could co-operate to feed the poor!
Talk about a Mind F!
I was actually witnessing a scene which exemplifies the classic duplicity of our NZ society which has become acclimatized to making out ‘the White guy’ is a racist…. While condoning Maori separatism as a defiant act of ‘self determinism’!
For me the meeting did not progress in a direction which I had hoped… >>>see here<<< yet still it was a spectacle to behold!

Representatives from what is assumed to be two diametrically opposed groups setting aside their differences for the sake of a common value!
Furthermore, it was a testimony to the fallaciousness of what passes in society for thinking…. The bogus Idea that Individuals may be classified and collectivizes into tidy little boxes… and judged to either be fit to participate in our society… or be Damned.

Both Kyle and Alvina (the Maori Radical) demonstrated some very ‘inconvenient truths’…. Which the Media and general public are too lazy and uncaring to contemplate… that maybe in spite of some of their ‘extreme’ views, that they still have a caring and compassionate heart when it comes to those in need… enough to set their differences aside.
In reality, how different are these two factions?
In my view they are akin… yet one side certainly gets vilified while the other is ‘Politically correct and ‘official doctrine’….

What is amazing to realize is that despite opinions as to the veracity of their political beliefs, there is still hope for peaceful co-existence between the most extreme dichotomies… if they will but appreciate that within a Libertarian framework individuals are free to hold their own beliefs and to pursue their own happiness as long as they do it privately, and respecting their neighbours Equal rights to peacefully do the same.

This is what it really means to love thy neighbour as thyself!
Ie To tolerate and accord everyone the same right to peacefully … in Freedom… hold their own opinions… even when you don’t agree with them… or like them.
You don’t want them to use political force to impose their views upon you… so likewise you ought not to lobby government to impose your views upon them.

Thus as a Libertarian who also holds strong personal religious convictions (I’m a King James Bible believing Protestant Dispensationalist) and so I personally think Mormonism is wrong, Maori Separatism is wrong, and White power is equally wrong,… as long as people pursue their own beliefs peacefully and privately…. Without lobbying the government to impose their personal beliefs upon others… then they may freely follow their own conscience, and propagate their own beliefs via civilised means.

Libertarianism is their neutral friend… not their enemy… as it embeds those few commonly held / universal values as the constitutional laws of the land, and there by leaves the greatest scope for freedom.
These few principles have the power to form the foundation for peaceful co-existence and even co-operation.

In Peace I applaud every individual whom cares enough to use their own time, money and energy to help feed Hamilton’s hungry irrespective of their other personal beliefs… including Alvina.

I cant say that I know what Kyles ‘ National Resistance’ is all about.
I’ll need to do more study.
I don’t really know Kyle either… I’ll just say that It’s been a real pleasure to meet him and to talk to him, and from what I See daily from Hamilton Homeless, I congratulate him and his Wife Claire for the wonderful charity work they are doing.
He certainly does not fit into the Box which the Waikato Times tried to shove him.
He’s not a Racist.
His Good works prove this.
I dont pretend to understand how he fits in his ‘non-racism’ with his Nationalist ideas, nor do I really have to … that’s his own business.

I applaud Claire’s enlightened ‘open door’ non-partisan… non-denominational policy.
I salute them both, and intend contributing to their charity… and hope to get to know them both better.

End note: I dont know how Christians can be Racists?
It is staggering to know that Millions of Christians have failed to apply the principle of loving their neighbours *as themselves*.
How can they not appreciate the truth that in Christ there is neither Jew nor Greek, but all are one in Christ?

The Lions share of Troubles and ideological conflicts in our society and the world at large are caused by those whom want freedom for themselves, yet despise freedom for others and believe they have superior rights to everyone else.
They seek political advantage for their own Faction to oppress those other sectors of society whom they hold a prejudice against.
Most often they tend to cloak their bigotry and lust for oppression in the garb of social concern, and self-righteousness.

If only these groups could appreciate the value of Equality and freedom… voluntary association… they would realise they could have peace and security for their families… and still be free to peacefully follow their own beliefs.
And I believe the virtue of such Freedom an equality would with time work to corrode the bigotry which under pins the most extreme hate groups.

Just one note. The white power label is a media construct. The racist label is a political and media tool created to put people in a box so that they can ignore anything the labelled person says after that. Trotsky said he made up the term “racist” to fight nationalism.
The whole thing is a scam designed to fight political groups that fight globilization. Nationalist orgs world wide do charity drives etc. Its just not reported since the media is run by globalists who hate nationalism. So they take a dishonest view of their political rivals. Using their position to spread misinformation.
The media do this with anyone who fights the agenda they follow. They also have a more simplistic reason for their lazy reporting and sensationalism. Its called employment and profit. Controversy sells. They make stories more controversial in order to make more money. They lie often to push this agenda. Not many people around now who havn’t seen this for themselves either through personal experiences or seen it done to someone they know. Study the truth. Don’t believe fairfax and other global media companies. They are all about money and spreading global agendas.

My Last >Blog post< criticizing the Governments reversal on synthetic cannabis received a heated response from a fan of this latest Prohibition... someone who admits they could not be bothered to actually read my post... She said ... "bit long to read extensively but i gather your saying legal highs are fine and to test them on animals would be fine? have you used it yourself or been around others who are addicted to it, in the court news for flying off the handle, seeing young parents make it a priority rather than feed their kids and even allow them the luxury of wearing a nappy....what a load of bollocks. this shit is worse than p and has no right to be in this country. in fact i think it helps the argument for legalisation of cannabis. and since when is it LEGAL to get high..hypocrisy..." First things first….
I used to think that the best opinion pieces are short, yet it occurred to me while reading George Orwell, that The short opinion piece is not really of high educational value, and is in fact a product of a growing culture of Rush… and intellectual sloth… like druggies… looking for a ‘quick Hit.’

So I am not going to apologize any more to people who complain about the length of my spiels.
It’s not my problem that they cant be bothered investing the time and effort into reading my stuff.

Having squared that I will now share with you my response to this woman’s criticism…. tweaked slightly to communicate with my readers rather than how it originally took aim at the silly twat herself.
(I got carried away again, and have actually added a substantial amount…. 🙂 )

Maybe I should not be so harsh…. maybe this silly Cow really is incapable of rational thought due to being absolutely consumed with ‘Righteous indignation’.
The thing is that I am so bloody sick and tired of such utter Bullshit…. stacked to the roof!
It’s typical of the Bat Shit Lunacy which was out Marching in the streets…. and given Prime time Air on Campbell live, and front page coverage on countless editions of News papers throughout the country… That I think it’s time to take the gloves off and rip into these Nasty little Morons in large numbers!

I probably have already lost 60% of my readers. Oh well.

I said I thought that she herself was unhinged, and asked if she was on Prescription medication?
(If not she should go see her Dr… Pronto.)

Not that I believe for a moment that P is as bad as Prohibitionists make out either!
I am merely calling her out for her wild *Highly emotive* exaggerations.
Prohibitionist civilians are predominantly throngs of mindless Zombies.
Incapable of being objective.

Notice the examples she sites as evidence that Synthetic Cannabis is Evil.
Prohibitionists always take the most pathetic people who have virtually *zero ethics* and zero self control, and who exceed recommended doses etc…. as being the poster child/ yardstick for measuring the drug… as if the Drunken bums who drink meths and sleep under bridges are the *standard* by which alcohol should be measured… instead of using the sensible hard working adults who enjoy a couple of beers after work… as their examples… and this is because they seek to delude themselves and everyone else that we need to model our society around the hapless Idiots and social misfits in our midst, rather than around sensible adults.

I make the point that there are plenty of people who smoke the legal high’s on a Friday night, Saturday… and don’t starve their kids or leave them without nappies.
By far the majority of drug users behave sensibly and don’t allow their indulgences to lead them to wreak and ruin… thus proving the notions of the the prohibitionists to be nothing more than an outrageous and un-objective Rantings.

Obviously there are *other factors* at play as to why *some few* people abuse the drugs, and live chaotic lives.
They have maturity problems.
They have a lack of ethics.
They have troubled lives and up bringing s.

*These are the types of real underlying issues that cause the problems!

Drug abuse is merely a symptom of Damaged personalities.
It has little at all to do with the Drugs themselve!
If anything These troubled souls are taking drugs to ‘self medicate’… to sooth their frayed nerves… to bring some pleasure into what is their Train wreak of a life.

Yet the prohibitionist never wants to fully analyse the circumstances regarding why some people are really going of the rails…. because if they discover *other factors* are involved…. then they cant climb on their Prohibitionist hobby horse…. and man o man they love to flog that thing!

*This sort of crap really gets up my nose because of how it absolutely blames the young adult and the drugs for the break down in communication… and the swift change of the relationship… the distance and alienation.

Yes their Young adults have discovered and are experimenting with drugs!

Some Parents have a real problem with their Kids growing up and making their own decisions.
Some parents seek to keep their kids under their thumbs, and loose their marbles when their now grown up kids refuse to simply do as they are told…
So they blame the drugs!

Hell may freeze over first yet if they want to restore their relationship with their Kids, they need to stop being such Tyrants.
They need to quit Rantings and Ravings like Muslim Fanatics!
No wonder your kids would rather sleep on the Streets… to get away from *YOU!

You can still voice your opinion and lay down rules of behaviour in your house, but wisdom dictates you should do so using tact… without acting like a psychopath.
You may say you love your kids but your actions make it almost impossible to love you back.
If you keep telling your sons and daughters that they are losers and are a disappointment… that can utterly crush their sense of self worth and push them into Gangs etc whom will welcome them with open arms.

In my opinion the very best Parents were the tolerant ones whom allowed their kids and their friends to quietly hang out in the Garage… rarely encroaching there themselves unless things were getting too rowdy, and that way they maintained a respectful relationship with their adult kids… did not drive them out of the home at a young age…. got to know and influence their friends… and always knew where their kids were at night… having given them somewhere safe to enjoy themselves.

When I speak of ‘Kids’ I am specifically referring to 18+… yet suggest you show understanding to your Kids even earlier than that… 15 years old We were driving Cars.
at 16 we were legal to have sex and had left school, and started apprenticeships…
And it is at this age that most young people will come into contact with Pot… even though it is illegal.
If you take a liberal approach you can still express your concerns yet do so in a loving manor, and demonstrate that you know they are growing up fast… and need some space to make their own choices.
Let them party in your garage… Friday through Sunday.
That’s my advise… and you will maintain a good relationship with them and will be able to indirectly exercise far more control, than if your kids choose to do there Friend thing somewhere else.

Prohibition does not Prevent young people from getting, experimenting, and enjoying drugs.
It merely means they may get them from ‘dodgy dealers’, and exposes them to the Hazard of having their Rights and liberties violated by Draconian Police… getting a criminal record which affects their future Job prospects and ends any hope of Overseas travel.

So For Goodness Sake why would any caring parent be happy that the Government has created more Laws which threaten to turn your Kids, your friends, and your neighbours into criminals and outcasts?

I can understand that a parent may be terrified that their Kids may get arrested, yet that is no excuse to employ Bully tactics against them, and call them losers, etc.
If anything this fear should motivate Moms and Dads to join organisations which call for an end to the war on drugs… to end the tyranny which threatens the well being of so many peaceful youth simply wanting to have a good time.

Real voluntary private Charity vs the evils of welfare and Political force. .

Recently I have been in communication with a newly formed charity organized by private citizens moved with concern for the growing number of homeless people in the city in which I live.
Though it would not take Sherlock homes to discover which organization I am talking about, I will not specify that here and now because firstly my purposes in writing this blog post don’t require me to be so specific… I am seeking to talk about private charity in general, and because my intentions here is not to castigate anyone in particular, but to educate… or at least bring to light some of my thoughts and thereby indirectly inform whomsoever hath an Ear.

I may add the specific name later if the organization in question so desires…

I have lived in Hamilton since the beginning of 1999, having moved over from Tauranga due to a Job transfer.

And though many people from the Bay of Plenty thought that we were crazy leaving the coastal paradise and moving to the Inland city, Hamilton has proven to be a wonderful city, and I have experienced unprecedented personal growth here.

Yet over the years with 9/11, and the Global economic collapse, rising Taxes, Rates, and the resulting increases in the cost of living…. Food, housing, etc… there has become an increasing number of homeless people congregating in the central city… predominately from the lower income earners…some are people with mental health issues or have expensive addictions… some are ex cons etc… thus for various reasons these people have not been able to keep their heads above water… and have become ‘social statistics’… members of a growing percentage of our population whom have fallen through the cracks… and now live in poverty.

When I herd about this new charitable organization I was impressed and burdened to lend my support…. Esp when I learned they were being harassed by the Hamilton city council… which has a habit of trying to run various minorities out of town simply because they don’t ‘fit’ well with their plans and delusions about what they think the CBD (Central Business District) should be… and consequently the CBD is dying a slow painful death…. Despite the HCC throwing millions of Rate payer dollars at it!

As a person with years of experience in local body politics I was keen to help this charity succeed in the face of the Bully tactics, harassment, and threats of arrest, etc the charity organizers have been enduring…and so I decide to attend several of their meetings, to meet those involved, to offer my assistance, and to see for myself how they intended to run their operation.

It was very interesting to say the least!
I met a very diverse bunch of people, primarily motivated by religious convictions and compassion for their fellow man.
This diversity in itself deserves a blogpost in its own right, and I will write about this aspect at a later…. Not too distant time, yet I have other specific things to discuss here and now.
It is enough for now to say that this diversity has meant that I was but one of many interested parties keen to help this organization…. Each with their own perspectives and advise as to how they believe the best course of action the Charity should pursue to overcome the many obstacles it faces and to succeed.

As a Libertarian Christian, I have an underlying philosophy of tolerance and respect for other peoples right to hold, and express their own beliefs and to pursue their own happiness, as long as they do it peacefully and at their own expense, and thus the first thing I suggested was that the Charity remained focused on it’s core ambition of providing meals to the homeless, and that in so doing they could avoid complications which would tend towards dis-unity and division.

They presented a Mission statement which was simple and profound… and acceptable to all present.

Thus it is that I was completely happy with the stated objectives and had no problems co-working with this diverse group.
I began to become optimistic, and to believe this was indeed a worthy voluntary association deserving of my time, effort, and cash… all of which are in short supply… esp cash… due to my struggles as a self employed man with the Inland revenue department, and several other Government departments which constantly demand more and more of my hard earned money.

Yet this High was short lived as unfortunately It was not long before a Big problem arose which threatens to disqualify me from being able to continue to offer my support.

It is a moral dilemma.
My Libertarianism can tolerate a great deal of wild and whacky things.
It can tolerate a lot of personal vice and bad character… yet there is a line in the sand over which I cannot step in good conscience… it is when people seek to use force upon others to achieve their goals and ambitions… even if those goals and ambitions appear noble and Humane.
I cannot tolerate the violation of peoples *legitimate* rights and liberties… which must be distinguished from the Manufactured Pseudo-rights claimed by socialists.
Real rights are God-given, and are not the gifts of Government.

That above statement may at first appear completely out of place!
Why would Tim raise such an issues here and now?
Wasn’t he talking about compassionate people eager to help the needy?
Why raise the issue of Force?
Why mention the violation of rights?

I want to talk about the philosophical/ ethical question of Ends and Means… in as simple a way as possible so as to be able to convey what the problem I encountered is all about, and what instead I believe is the better, more moral way to proceed.
A way in which I am most happy to participate.
I hope that in few words to lay out some of the most fundamental moral issues regarding Charitable works, and expose a very common misconception about what The proper duties of government are, and why Social welfare is in no way Charity in the Christian sense of the word.

I will only lightly touch on the principles involved and leave a great deal un-argued for the sake of simplicity.
I also implore my readers whom are unfamiliar with the Christian Libertarian Ethic to please seriously consider what I am about to say, even though it may be completely new…. Completely opposite to how you have become accustomed to think…. And especially…. If I am at all successful in articulating my position… to be brave enough to admit to yourself that I am right …. That I have spoken the truth…. Even if the consequences may mean you perceive a more difficult path ahead.

When Old ideas are undermined and we are faced with new challenges… it can be scary, and some will allow this fear to corrupt their hearts.
Thus with my exposition I put out the call for Faith!
Faith that doing the right thing is the right thing do… in the eyes of God.
That is what ought to be foremost in peoples minds… That God himself expects us to walk honestly…. And not to be lazy…. Or take short cuts or attempt to achieve our goals via unscrupulous means under the vain delusion that being for a worthy cause… the righteous end justifies wicked means.

Don’t allow yourselves to think…. Well everyone else accepts things ‘this way’…. That according to the majority… ‘this is fine’…. Etc.
I ask you to search your consciences… and by the time I have finished no one will be able to plead ignorance about the issues at hand.

I believe it is God’s will that I make this apology… that he wants this charity to make a choice as to how it will proceed.
I have no desire to become a point of division, and should my arguments be rejected, I shall quietly go my own way.

Providence smiled, and the Charity has recently acquired a conveniently located property from which to operate which solved one of their biggest problems they faced with respect to the Council’s attempts to shift them out of the CBD and demand ‘Permit fees’… yet the council still did not get off their back, but has decided to ‘investigate them’… and has been using various devious means to gather information on how they are operating…. With the obvious intention of using the said information to make life as difficult as possible for them and even to find legal grounds to shut them down.

Thus with news of these developments, I was invited to attend a second meeting.

Another issue had arisen that day with the publication of the Saturday 26-4-14 edition of the Waikato Times, which featured a front page story on the activities of some to the members of the charity. I will write on that at a later date…. Yet the meeting started off with discussions about this article, and then progressed onto the ongoing problems with the Hamilton city council.

It was then that someone…. A person whose good intentions I am not questioning…. A person who is a political activist…. began to express their opinions about what they saw as the ‘Evil directions’ Mayor Julie Hardacre was taking the city council… and said that not only was the City council failing in it’s moral responsibilities to the Homeless, but that other policies demonstrated a lack of social concern…. Such as dropping the funding for community houses, and a desire to sell off pensioner flats.

She used the phrase that Council was focusing on “Bricks and mortar” insinuating a callous neglect of what she believes are far more important moral duties …. social concern for human beings.

Now as a Libertarian I am certainly no fan of the Powers that be in the H.C.C and have said many times that I believe them to be heartless power-trippers… yet for very different reasons than what this activist was enunciating… I rabidly oppose the Status quo … none the less it behoved me to correct some of the misguided ideas which had just been tabled.

I have run for council and mayor many times, and so I interjected with my first hand knowledge of the realities behind these Council spending cuts and asset sales.
I said that Julie hardaker certainly had not undertaken this course of action because she believes in a ‘Bricks and mortar only’ ideology, or from any assumed ‘heartless capitalist mindset, but that these austerity measures and asset sales had in fact been *reluctantly enacted* because of the *huge city debts* which successions of mismanagement, and big spending councillors had racked up… and under which the backs of Ratepayers are now buckling.

I said that when Hardaker had originally ran for mayor she either ignorantly, or purposefully ignored the dire financial crisis of the H.C.C and like all the other Candidates…. had campaigned via promising everyone the moon!

(Julie Hardaker is a big spender at heart… yet after she was elected there was no money in the coffers… and big bills to pay… and so she was forced by economic realities which could no longer be ignored to bite the bullet and implement a program of cuts and savings.)

My reply was met with no acknowledgement.

Instead what followed was a proposal to have a ‘hui’ with government departments like Mental health, local Labour party Mps, and lefty city councillors… in particular big spending socialist Dave Mcpherson… with the intention of getting these political powers ‘on board’… obviously with the intention of tapping into Government funds and utilities, etc…. under the belief that it was the governments responsibility to get involved and aid this charity work.
In other words… “Lets make them Pay!”

And before I could say that I thought that was an absolutely terrible plan, the Director of the Charity nodded with agreement and gave her endorsement to proceed down that path!

In five minutes flat I had been completely shut down.
I did not have opportunity to explain why I considered that proposal was a very bad plan as I was not prepared to impose my contrary opinion …. once the director had given her endorsement.
I had no desire at all to become the center of division, all I could do was say that I personally could not endorse that proposal and that it would be best that I leave.
I said that what had attracted me to this organization was that it was a private, voluntary charity, and that I had intended to help them get the government off their backs so that they could get on with the business of feeding the poor… not to get into bed with government.
I asked if they had needed the Governments help so far… and was told ‘not yet.’

Thus I took my leave, promising I would write some bogs on this subject and see what developed… and that depending on how things panned out… that would determine how far I would continue to travel together with them.

It was disappointing for me, yet not surprising considering western society is predominantly Social Democrat in nature which means the population has been indoctrinated and have become acclimatized to living in a heavily politicized environment in which the tentacles of the state reach into every corner of our lives… and charge us for the privileged via Taxes, Rates, etc.
This is the Norm…. If you want something done… you don’t do it yourself… you don’t rally your neighbours…. You lobby the government…. And get them involved…
Nanny state.

Thus it was an almost automatic response to endorse ‘the hui’ proposal… no need for further discussion….. It was ‘common sense’ from an educated and experienced political operator… an adult law student none the less.
Surely any objection Tim Wikiriwhi has to this ‘common sense’ proposal must be naive…. Must be unimportant….. must be petty and irrational.

Well finally Dear Reader…. having explained the circumstances as to why I have ended up out in the cold… I will now type out what I never had the opportunity to say at the second meeting….my rationale as to why I reject the hui proposal and will present what I believe to be a much better plan… a much more ethical means to achieving the desired ambitions of the charity.

Let me state that the fundamental problem with the ‘Hui plan’ begins with the assumptions firstly that it is the duty of Government to run social welfare programs… that Hamilton city council is somehow neglecting their duty to provide for the homeless!

Now to many people whom have become ‘normalised’ to Government micromanagement of everything… that may seem like a crazy statement!
Of course the city Council and Government have a moral responsibility!… don’t they???
To deny this moral obligation is to be a cold hearted bastard!!! Yes???

No! and No!

Let me explain why to believe such things is extremely misguided and counter productive to the desired ends of Less homeless people… less Hungry people.

First lets look at the fundamental moral question.
I present to you the following situation…

Two people bring money to give to the charity for feeding the poor.
One is a little old man… retired… and he brings $20.00 which he has withdrawn from his ample savings from a lifetime of hard work and prudent financial self-responsibility.
He makes a direct payment via internet banking.

A second person is a thief, He brings $2000. 00 and says he got the money by robbing Rich bastards living in a fancy neighbourhood…with a gun.
He then drops the money into the charity collection plate outside the mall.

Now which of these two people has the truly righteous and charitable soul… and which one is the Fraud?

I hope that nobody struggles to distinguish the heart of the matter.
Obviously the first person is the real charitable person because they gave willingly from their own pockets, where as the second Guy took the money by force and then put that in the collection plate… obviously the money was not even his in the first place, and secondly he had gotten his filthy hands on the money by force!

Even if the second person says he did not steel the money for himself but took it because he cares deeply about the plight of the poor, does his apparent social concern justify his means of attaining the money?

Does their heart motive ‘cleanse’ the money?
Can it ever be truly said that the charitable desire to help feed the poor can justify such an unrighteous means of finance?

No doubt the stolen $2000.00 will buy a lot more food for the poor than the earned and gifted $20.00 yet does that make the $2000.00 better than the $20.00???
What do you think God would say about this?

Now let me tell you that it is the same thing regarding the difference between Real voluntary private charity…. And Government social welfare.
One is righteous because it is given freely from the heart, the other is money which has been taken from others by force… vai Taxation, Rates, and by creating Government debts which must be paid by the citizens.

Social welfare is an atheist invention designed to counterfeit Christian charity.
The atheists set up a counterfeit ‘morality’ designed to replace Christianity.. in which the State is God… the source of all benevolence.

Do not be deceive by the fact that socialist governments have created Laws which pseudo-legitimizes this extortion and forced redistribution of wealth!
These Laws are Evil!
They cannot turn theft into a virtue.
Only in the minds of fools is such voodoo possible.

It can never be the legitimate duty of Government to Rob the people whose rights it was instituted to protect… even if a majority says that they want the state to do just that!
Mob rule is not a Christian principle, but another denial of Christian absolute morality.
It is yet another secular invention in opposition to Christian values and ideals.
Christianity is not supposed to operate via political force but by a voluntary submission to the will of God…

It matters not that Taxation may be an easy means by which billions of dollars can be appropriated under the pretext of financing massive social welfare schemes… It’s all filthy lucre! Stolen money taken at the point of a gun…. Under threat of being stripped of all your property, or imprisonment!

Do you really expect God to bless your efforts and reward you in heaven when you have accepted money that was taken by force via the tyrannical and filthy hands of Double-chinned politicians?
The Political system represents Mammon… not God.
There is no way that state welfare can be construed to be Christian charity.
It’s a wolf in sheeps clothing.
Furthermore Social welfare breeds laziness, vice, and dependence…. Not self responsibility…. Not self-reliant independence!

Why go to church when you can avoid the Preachy types and go to social welfare instead?

While the Bible supports giving charity to those in need it is careful not to encourage sloth….
“If any man will not work… neither should he eat”… said St Paul, our Apostle to the Thessalonians.

There is a big difference between giving someone a meal, and giving them a dole cheque!
How much Dole money gets spent on Cigarettes booze, gambling, and drugs… while the average family struggles away under heavy taxation…. and goes without essentials like the dentist of the doctor…because of the cost of Milk and bread?…. just so the socialist politicians can hand out money willy nilly?

Ask yourselves why does the cost of living keep going up and Up?
Why is the Government always increasing Taxes?
The chief reason is not Greedy Capitalists.
Its because the government keeps passing more and more laws and growing bigger and bigger and bigger… and all this *increase in the expense of running the political system* is passed onto the consumers.

And the government spends spends spends…. Borrows borrows borrows. Mortgaging our Children. Rents go through the roof… the consumer carries all the costs. And more people are impoverished and oppressed.... crumbling under the weight.

Remember Governments don’t generate wealth… free enterprise, prudent investment, and Free exercise of our talents and ingenuity does that.
Government expenses and foolish regulations *generate Poverty!*
Politicians are notoriously poor handlers of finances… always blowing budgets… always suffering losses… yet what do they care?
They arent risking and loosing their own money… they are gambling and giving away billions of other peoples money… money they have taken from Joe Public who lives on on struggle st.
They have taken it by political force!

Knowing these things how can any charity lobby for Funds from Government?
Knowing how it is the Government Tax theft and incompetence which is the number 1 cause generating poverty?
Who could desire such Ill gotten gains?

Not I!

One thing is for sure…. I know the difference between real charity and fake political coercion!
I cannot endorse or belong to any fake charity who is in bed with the government… and happy to use money that was wrongfully appropriated from the people who earned it.
This is why I cannot endorse ‘the Hui’ proposal as it ignores all these corrupt means of action and ignores the poverty Big government generates…. And in fact seeks to get into bed with this evil system… and add to the extortion…. Add to the debt.

Thus to my way of thinking the only real charity is one which remains 100% voluntary…. 100% Private…. 100% funded via means which does not involve political force.

I know that we are forced to pay taxes, yet that does not justify us then lobbying for tax revenues…. That is to get into bed with the beast… the Harlot.

These are just some of the evils of Social democracy…. I could go on and on… talking about how the Burden of big government ruins our competitive advantages in the global trade thereby costing us Jobs and shrinking our economy.
I could talk about how their silly rules and regulations restricts job opportunities…etc etc.

I must make the point that Big busy body socialist Government is a massive financial burden upon the backs of the hard working and productive which greatly hobbles their ability to take care of themselves and their families and makes them less secure and able to cope with the slings and arrows of daily existence. Ie it drags more and more people towards the breadline.

It siphons away money which would otherwise have been invested in Business, and used by the real entrepreneurs and producers to generate wealth and expand our economy!

We need to keep the size and expense of government to an absolute minimum!

Looking back at Julie Hardakers Austerity measures for the city council…
though she is a big spender at heart and only reluctantly implemented a program of cuts and savings.
Oddly enough, Her decision to do so, and to focus on ‘bricks and mortar was by far the most prudent, and *ultimately the most humane course of action to take!
These cost and debt reductions, and down sizing actually mirrored to a lesser extent my own Libertarian policies on which I myself campaigned!

It was the heavy Taxations of the English crown which caused the American war of Independence.
And it was at that time that Protestant theologians and philosophers were inquiring into what… if any… were the legitimate duties of Government.

This is an Ironic truth which is very difficult for many people to grasp, that having a small government which does not run social programs is in reality… the most socially contentious and prudent policy of all!
It is difficult to appreciate the dynamics involved because much of the effects of policies are not immediately apparent… and much is purposely downplayed.
It is the job of Political science to set out all the effects of various ‘social experiments’ as to their effectiveness and to highlight any unforeseen negative effects.
Sadly Our socialist Universities pump out little socialist political scientists who are utterly convinced of their own importance as Social engineers… manipulating or society via infinite political interventions.
And they actively engage in mass propaganda to make the people believe that big Government is their friend and that Freedom is the enemy.
Libertarianism is attacked on all levels by a schooled political class with Heavy vested interests in maintaining Big Government… and heavy Taxation.
They are pulling the wool over the peoples eyes and rejecting the teachings of the greatest economist of all Time… Adam Smith… why Free-market capitalism works best towards Social good, and prosperity.

Yet Here and now I have dared to challenge the Beast system!
I declare it is the economic realities of Small government and Independence which tend towards greater wealth and prosperity for all… which are an important pragmatic reality which compliments my just moral principles which oppose Social welfare and taxation… and underpin a belief that Real charity must be private funded… by those people who care… at a rate they determine they can afford, and are happy to give… from a surplus of their savings and efforts…. which they themselves determine is above their own needs to provide for themselves and their families.

This is what is missing from the current Socialist conception of the welfare state… and why it is an absolute failure which leads to National bankruptcy and serious declines in the standard of living for the working class… and an ever growing ‘Social static’ of those living in poverty on the streets.

The very last thing an enlightened and compassionate person should do is lobby the government or council to Tax the people… so that funds can be made available to feed the poor!
That is not only immoral… it is utterly self defeating!
It creates More Poverty and a Political Monster!
The Socialist Leviathan State!

If we want to feed the poor lets do it by Real charity… without any political ‘aid’.
If we actually care about the decline in our society we in fact should be protesting against the Beast system… not encouraging it!
We need to stand on our own feet, and demand the government Downsizes and reduces debt and taxes accordingly.
And when we have got this obese Socialist Gorilla off our backs Real charities and churches will flourish and become the norm.
And our economy will grow, and poverty will decrease,
Self reliance will greatly displace welfare dependence.
Self responsibility will greatly displace sloth and vice.

And money will not be stolen from those who earned it… the principle of reaping what you sow will be re-established.

Thus I say that the only moral and prudent means to finance this charity… and all charities which is consistent with the Christian Modus opperandi is to remain an absolutely Voluntary and private association which gets its financial support the old fashioned way… via fund raisers and soliciting charitable donations from our fellow citizens and from private industries and businesses.
The charitable trust should seek endorsements from prominent New Zealanders and even look into modern methods such as are being employed successfully by operations like Canteen.

I believe this is an absolutely viable option, and it also means the charity maintains full control over their own destiny, and is in no way dependent upon government or political power in any way shape or form.

I went to see the Noah movie last night.
I was not expecting it to be an accurate portrayal of the Biblical Noah, and was fully prepared for Hollywood licence…. why let the truth get in the way of a good story?
Thus I have been sceptical of the bleating s from Christian commentators…. so I did’t bother to read them… and was determined to make up my own mind…. hoping to find something positive… ie that perhaps it may at least get people thinking about the Book of Genesis.

I like Big Budget movies with Special effects.
I think the real Russell Crowe is a Plonker… yet he’s good at his trade and usually enjoyable to watch… yet his portrayal of Noah was disturbing… unpleasant.

I can appreciate that it was a necessary for the script for Crowe to portray Noah as absolutely single minded in his convictions that God intended to absolutely destroy Humanity… though this was a massive departure from what The Bible says… and as a consequence Crowe’s Noah comes across as absolutely heartless…. a religious Fanatic… and this is a great dis-service to the Biblical Noah whom preached to the world about the coming flood… only to be mocked and jeered at.
The Movie makes out Noah flatly refused anyone’s plea to enter the salvation of the Ark… which is Tantamount to Christ refusing to save sinners…. The Genesis Ark being a Type of God’s mercy and Salvation in Christ.

I will mitigate this criticism in that the Magnitude of the situation did call for Steel resolve and monumental… unwavering Faith in the justness of God’s judgement.
Crow’s Noah was that… and later in the movie Mrs Noah articulates the weight that Noah had Borne …esp being a Caring and Humane Man.

The movie Noah heartlessly leaves Ham’s Girlfriend to be crushed to death, just so they could stitch in another unpleasant and Anti-biblical construct… That in the post Deluvian world Ham and Japheth would take wives of their nieces.
No Doubt the producers relished this ‘innovation’ as it is patently designed to make audiences recoil at the idea that the Bible contains incest… re- procreation from the Children of Adam and Eve.

I will mitigate this critisism only for the shear fact that to believe the Book of Genesis is a literal historical account, it is necessary to accept that Adam and Eve’s children *did* pro-create together.
Yet there was no Law against it in that age, nor was there the same level of De-generation as is the case today… People lived 1000 years back then.

I do think that this part of the plot does evidence the producers desire to use this movie to discredit the Bible… not to enhance Faith… yet would you expect anything less from Hollywood these days?
It would be silly to go to a movie like this and yet feel you had been defrauded of your money.
Rabid Non-Christians like Ricard Dawkins would enjoy seeing Christians squirming in their seats!

Considering myself a more open mined, tolerant, and freer thinker than the average Christian I was hoping to find more virtue in this movie… they really did contrive things to such an extent that regretfully I must say that the bleetings of Evangelicals like Ray Comfort are not without substance.

One virtue which cannot be denied is that this movie is stimulating conversation on a very important subject… and no doubt some people will turn to Christ as a result.

Others may loose their faith…

Half way through the movie now, another interesting yet thoroughly contrary part of the plot was that the Fallen Angels of Genesis 6 had become ‘Watchers’…. Stoney Giants who contrary to the scriptures were benevolent beings who despite having to contend with the violence of humanity, still longed to be restored to communion with the Creator, and decided to help Noah build the Ark and protect it from being over-run by the Evil hordes.
They acted like the 300!
Brave warriors willing to face overwhelming odds to protect Noah’s family and the Ark.
The Highlight of the movie for me was when these Watchers began to be overpowered that they realised that God Almighty was merciful towards them and that upon death they were to be restored to Heaven!
Sitting alone amongst the crowd I was moved to silently shed a tear or two.
Heroic self-sacrifice and the hope of God’s mercy are themes which strike deep in my heart….. even though this part of the movie was an absolute fabrication.

I dont think it is necessary to dwell on the contrived storyline that Crowe’s Noah was determined to kill his own grandchildren…. a truly despicable portrayal… attempting to stitch in events of Abraham and Isaac… That Men of Faith are capable of the most inhumane atrocities.
It matters not that Isaac was spared… as were the grand daughters in this tale…. Hollywood’s purpose was served.
It was portrayed that Noah had to defy God, to save the innocent.
A Test?
Did Noah Fail?
No… not according to Emma Watson who played Shem’s wife.
Noah chose mercy and love… over blind obedience.
Maybe…. Ultimately… in the end Hollywood’s Noah learned the greatest Religious lesson of all.
A Straw man argument as far as the Book of Genesis is concerned.

Some positive yet grim aspects of the movie was that the Ark looked believably constructed.
They caused the Animals to drop into a Hibernation via the use of drugs…. a common speculation as to the logistics of how 8 people were able to tend to so many beasts…. not to mention inter-species conflicts.
They attempted to portray the depravity of The Godless… the justification for God’s Judgement.
I do not think the movie overstated the horror of the flood itself… it’s probably not possible to do that!… and so It was good to visualise the sort of terrible fate that consumed the lost… even if it makes some folk question the Love of God.

Ray Winstone’s portrayal of the Pride of Rebellious Humanity was awesome.
The seed of Cain…. ‘Why wont God commune with me?’
Hell bent, He determined to Dominate the world be shear lawless brutality… to spite God.
To kill was the mark of manhood.

Ultimately I think This Movie is what you would expect from people who dont believe the flood ever happened… don’t believe the Book of Genesis is anything more than fables… and so there can be no real harm done by bastardising the story.
Indeed the infidel no doubt considers the fact that this movie will work to discourage faith in the scriptures as it’s greatest virtue.

I will Finnish my commentary simply by saying that I myself believe the Book of Genesis is Literal history… and that the flood did occur.
It is a well establish artefact of historic tradition… almost universally attested to… even if it is unpleasant to consider such all consuming Divine judgement.
Reality and truth are Objective… not determined by our sentiments, and i am appalled by modern liberal Christians whom attempt to sidestep the uncomfortable truths written in the Bible by simply pretending that they are myths… no flood… no massacres… no hell… etc.

The Story of the Flood is absolutely relevant today… and it is Ironic that I am writing these words on Easter Saturday… a festival which has dubiously … via the tides of history come to be associated with the Death Burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ… events which St Paul preached were God’s Grace in action.
The sinless Christ… the Scape Goat… took on the sins of Humanity and was Judged by God… the wages of sin being Death…. he was Crucified.
Yet after 3 days in the grave he rose victorious over sin and death… God via St Paul’s preaching the Good news that whosoever believes that Christ died for their sins and rose again the third day… calling upon the Name of the Lord… they shall be Saved from the coming judgement of God!
Christ is our Ark.

God’s judgement is again drawing near upon a corrupt and violent Mankind.
To pretend that God does not judge is a great lie… a terrible delusion.
The Story of Noah is a warning to be heeded…
Ignore it at your peril.
People surrounded by evil are looking for salvation…. they need to hear the Gospel of Gods Grace… Come to the Ark!
There is salvation in Christ!
God is not Heartless… yet he will judge the wickedness of humanity.
He has provided a way of salvation via faith.
He has given you the choice.
The power is in your own hands.

Charlee Nelson passed away Sunday. She had a neurological disease that caused seizures. Cannabis oil could have helped.
They named a bill “Charlee’s Law” after her. Charlee Nelson, who died Sunday, was one of countless children around the country awaiting passage of bills that would allow them to use CBD oil, a form of marijuana.
The six-year-old resident of West Jordan, Utah suffered from a neurological condition called Batten disease that causes seizures, mental impairment, blindness and loss of body control, and eventually death. She was diagnosed with the disease last February.
During that time there have many accounts of how hemp oil – low in THC, high in CBD (for cannabidiol), hence minus the high – can help children who suffer from seizure conditions, such as epilepsy. Now states like Utah are moving ahead with legislation that will only allow legal use of CBD-rich products, primarily in the form of a tinctures taken orally. The materialist/ monist view of death is that once the Body dies… the conscious being of a person is annihilated… because to their way of thinking our consciousness is nothing more that the result of an attunement of atoms.
Thus there can be no judgement for sins because not only in the materialist view is there no judge.
They say their is no objective moral Law, nor ‘anyone’ to be held account… the actions of a person merely being the blind outworking of Materialist determinism.

It is vitally important to distinguish this false conception of Human life and death from what the Bible clearly teaches… and that is that Death does not result in the annihilation of the conscious being/ personality… which being created in the image of God is both non-materialistic, and eternal… and morally capable (possessed of conscious free-will) and accountable.

It defies belief that there are many ‘highly educated’ people who claim to be Christians yet fail to be able to believe in Man’s Dualistic nature.
They dont believe in Freewill.
They dont believe any part of us survives death.
In these things they are Atheists.
What is even more absurd is that the say they reject Dualism because they cant understand it… deluding themselves that they *can understand* how consciousness can be derived from Dead matter!
The reality is that the cannot understand such a thing either!
Yet they have been sucked so far down the superstitious highway of Naturalism… the false religion of our age…. that they trust in the follies of rebellious and vain human scholarship and pseudo-science rather than in the word of God.

What is doubly ironic is that Christ himself condemned the heretical Jewish sect called the Sadducee’s
for believing these very same *monist* beliefs in respect to Life after death, and judgement.
He told them that at that very moment Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob were *Alive*… though their bones were in their sepulchres.

That the soul goes on is one of the most beautiful, yet frightening truths of the scriptures.
It is both Hope and Dread.
Hope for those of us who have faith in Christ and have a burning longing to be reunited with our loved ones… and with God our Father, and Christ our Saviour in eternity.
yet still it is dread for those of us who have faith in Christ, yet fear the reality that many of our fellow sinners… Family members and friends have rejected Salvation and will be lost for eternity.

These are the ultimate realities of Christianity.
They are too much for ‘the Natural man’ to comprehend… they are foolishness unto them.
