I started writing this post a week ago, yet as things have been developing so fast, and because there has a powerful debate about how serious this virus is, I put my writing on hold to gather more information and watch how things have been developing….
The News is not good.
In fact my heart is sinking as I realise that almost a worse case scenario is unfolding before our eyes…

Today I released my personal Civil Alert.

The rationale is to look to your own safety and that of your families …. while the window of opportunity is still open.

Its time to go into self Isolation people! The Virus will be in your street in a matter of days… weeks…not months.

I’m doing a shop today and hope to stay out of supermarkets etc for the next week.
I may pull Roman out of school next week…
Its that serious….

Most people will just laugh…. they only see the sun shining outside and all is well…. they have no idea how this thing is like the invisible approach of a tsunami… Nek minnit…. BOOM…. yet you left it too late to get to high ground.

A special warning and message to friends working in the Health system (and other services)… *Take care*…. and look to your own well-being… to what degree you choose to put your Vocational care for others above your own safety can only be decided by *you*… not your Employers…. and you have families of your own that you must consider… At some point *soon* you too may choose to self Isolate… and *no one* will have the right to accuse you of breaching some sort of *public duty* to sacrifice yourselves…. No doubt many will do so… many will put their vocation ahead of their own safety… and to such people our society owes an incalculable debt of gratitude… because it will cost many of them their lives….

These are horrible things to contemplate… yet that does not mean we should not talk about them…. because the Covid 19 is *no myth*… it is real… it is coming… and *the System* has its own agenda to keep society calm… so they will be hesitant to speak the scary truth… Yet The Truth must be said… so that we all walk into this thing with our eyes open… under no delusions… fully ready and prepared… and that my friends *is the best way we can fight this fight*… by being awake… ready…”

There is a lot of pressure on governments to ‘do stuff’… yet what in reality ought they do… what powers ought they rightly to exercise under such emergencies… institute martial law?
There are of course legitimate concerns about Government measures crossing the line from legitimate activity straight into tyranny.
Using emergencies as a time to usurp great powers is a quintessentially Tyrannical thing to do!
Video footage of how the Chinese authorities has treated its people in ‘dealing with Covid 19 are absolutely terrifying!
China is Ruled with an Iron fist.
I do not have time to fully discuss this very important aspect in this post as I want to focus on what *we as individuals* ought to do *voluntarily* acting from our own intelligence… in our own interests… the question of the rights or wrongs of *Government actions* will have to wait for another time.
I will however include a short comment on the desire of the powers that be to ‘control information’ and the fact that nefarious globalist powers also seek to use this crisis to promote their wet dreams of a Cashless world order.

That aside there are serious Economic concerns about how best to act under this crisis… Internationally, regionally, and for individuals and families.
The stock market is spiraling downward… closed boarders are suffocating Trade.
Businesses are going broke… and that all means some households are struggling more than just the usual amount.
Many people live from week to week and have no ‘cash stash’ to use to get themselves emergency supplies enough to last months.

A commentator on the ‘explosive global situation’ makes the following statement…

“If you do not have active and aggressive containment measures right out of the gate, you are going to have a great big medical emergency later on.
Remember there is that three way balancing act… Do you contain the virus and stop the Pandemic, Do you preserve your economy, or do you risk overcoming your Hospital systems… those are the three variables you have to play off against each other… a lot of countries in the West in particular have made the decision to preserve their economies… not panic peoples… put out soothing statements… at the expense of what we are going to find out Italy has discovered here of a fairly overwhelmed hospital system that we think can only get worse…”

The point of implementing protective measures and practicing self-isolation is to ‘Flatten the Curve’… the rate of infection… see Ben Shapiro graph below.

A friend just asked me… “Mass self isolation is not without economic cost. What if your employer (and thousands of others) go out of business? Economic depression and ensuing poverty can also be fatal for many.”

I replied…
“These are weighty matters that everyone must strike a balance they believe is in their own best interest… and ultimately being Dead or having loved ones die because of a collapsed health system is surely one of the highest considerations.
If the spread of the plague can be slowed it gives all our systems the least stress… and valuable time to get supplies… etc.
It depends upon the inclinations and interests of individuals as to how they will suggest is the best way of dealing with this crisis… At one end of the spectrum…many seem to be rolling the dice and doing nothing… these are the ones who say… “Oh its not even as bad as the flu…”…. others at the other end of the spectrum…. mainly Asians… *Have already bought out New Zealand’s supply of face masks*… are buying up all the toilet paper*… etc etc*… ie they are in full *self preservation mode*.
Somewhere between these two extremes most people will be sitting… yet I fear most will be down the ‘Do nothing’ end of the spectrum rather than prepping for the worst.
I myself am waaay down the ‘Action stations’ self preservation end of the scale…. and I worry about everyone who is acting so Blase about it.
I have good reason to think these people simply dont appreciate how dire this situation is… and by the time they wake up… there will be *no supplies* to stock up for self isolation… or worse… they will be in the first wave of victims…
My Thinking is that it is better to prepare for the worst… and find things turned out better than expected rather than letting misplaced optimism leave you and your loved ones unprepared when things turn out far far far worse than you could have imagined.
Now Put yourself in one of the Italian or Chinese cities that has been locked down… surrounded by a plague that is killing your neighbours…. what message… what advice do you think they would have for us…??
Don’t you think they would tell us with all urgency to prepare prepare prepare???

‘Panic buying’ is a euphemism for ‘loonie’… for ‘irrational fear’… yet are people like myself who are taking action for our own welfare Really behaving irrationally?
I think not.
I received some funny looks and comments from fellow shoppers when they gathered that I was prepping for Covid19

It is staggering to me that there are so many people who think this virus is less dangerous than the common flu!
The Coronavirus is probably number 1 news topic on the globe at present… and though the net is now flooded with contradictory information, my Social media page is awash with posts saying ‘it’s no big deal’ and that all the Doom saying news is just ‘media sensationalism’.
They say not to worry about preparing for massive interruptions of our normal social operations such as supermarkets, etc.
These posts all carry the insinuation that those of us who take this crisis more seriously… that we are somehow foolish simpletons who cant comprehend ‘the latest scientific updates and statistics’ that say that ‘Only Old people need to be concerned’… or ‘The common Flu has a greater mortality rate’…. etc.

That is simply *BULLSHIT!*

Its like these people are willfully selecting the information according to what *they want to believe*…*hope to be true*, rather than being Objective.
How is it possible to maintain such apathy in the face of such facts that entire cities are being locked down?
To my thinking You just dont do that shit when its just a Flu!
This thing is way more serious than the powers that be would have you think….
The UN when discussing how to handle ‘Information’ during pandemics have indicated their desire to control and censor the internet… even shut down social media… because they want to control the public narrative… they want to halt popular protests against their activities, etc…
You see the powers that be have a separate vested interest that can be in conflict with the people knowing the whole truth… and that their agenda is to *maintain control*

*He states that Covid 19 is up to 15 times more dangerous than the common flu* and goes on to make closer comparisons with the Spanish flu pandemic of the early 20th century that killed 60+ Million people.

Making the decision as to when to go into self isolation is critical.
The exponential nature of this plague coupled to the unique geographical characteristics of various countries makes it extremely difficult to ‘guess’ when things change from ‘acceptable risk’ to Too late… I do think favorable factors will give New Zealand a small amount of extra time… maybe a week or two… the problem being that if you self isolate too soon not only do you burn through your supplies and incur more personal economic hardship (by not going to work), but also some wives will start to think isolation was a dumb idea and step back out into society… *just as the pandemic hits*… rendering all efforts and wisdom for naught.

It goes without saying that the extreme risk comes from tarrying too long… and the ‘exponential explosion of contagion’ catching you out and about…because you left your escape too late.

And this raises another dilemma… what of the households where one of the adults wants the family to go into isolation… but the other one thinks thats being silly?
This thing presents problems and dilemmas of 1000 kinds… any of which mistakes could be met with the highest consequence.

Tool Concert a personal wake up call.
Just how difficult it is to make smart decisions to self isolate rather than attend ‘important’ events… like Big parties, concerts, etc was made clear when My favorite band Tool toured New Zealand just a few weeks ago, yet it was only at the last minute that I got a ticket and attended their Saturday nite show in Auckland.
It was a bucket list item for me… yet the fleeting thought did occur to me… ‘what about the Corona Virus?’… I decided the risk was low and the gain high… and Tool did not disappoint!
It was fabulous seeing them live and esp hearing their New Tracks from ‘Fear inoculum’.
Yet a Week later it became big news that in fact a Person with Corona Virus *did attend* one of the Tool gigs in Auckland… and consequently…frightfully… *2 people* caught the virus who also attended the show and stood near where the contagious carrier watched the show!
It turned out this happened at the show the day before I went, and the sick person was located well away from where I sat… yet all of this was pure luck.
*That could easily have been me* and I could have carried that contagion home!*
The risk may have been extremely low, yet for the poor people who caught the disease and are now in Isolation no doubt they appreciate *just how dangerous* attending Gigs and parties really is, and how easily such events *can spread the virus far and wide*.
This is why *self Isolation is essential*

Learning my lesson I have had to decline attending a 60th party in West Auckland of a Good friend who is not well (heart issues)… who may not have many… if any… parties left.
This is a painful decision… a hard decision… yet I believe it is the right decision.
It is *very difficult* to decline *personally important events* for Covid 19’s sake.
It is awkward and unpleasant explaining your reasoning… even though the truth is Isolation is in everyone’s best interest.

Making a decision to keep your kids home from school… making a decision not to go to work… these are Tuff calls… yet that is sometimes what must be done.
People who dont have the stones to weigh up the risks and make the judgement call for themselves… are like sheep waiting for the shepherd to make a grand declaration … or for the flock to panic and all stampede…. like maniacs.

Things could get nasty when the Zombies realise they underestimated the gravity of what is about to unfold.
They wont have any food… they wont have any sanitisers, health products, etc etc
They will have no Personal protection equipment.
These fools dont realise how the functionality of our society will be severely impacted… they assume things like internet shopping will carry on as normal… they dont realise that *all the supplies of essential items are already disappearing off the shelves* … not only by smart people who are fast enough to look to their own security and well being… but apparently there have been groups of Asian migrants who have stockpiled important Items to send home to their families… again… this is not some sort of ‘Evil plot’… but is in fact *what should be expected* people will do in such times of global crisis when the Mother countries where their loved ones live are in the throes of the pandemic have exhausted all their supplies.
They are doing what they can for their families and loved ones.
I do not mention the fact that that it has been Asians who have emptied the shelves to incite any form of hateful backlash against them.
God forbid!
I only say it because it is a fact reported to me voluntarily from virtually every store I have visited trying to buy face masks, etc. I did not ask who or why the shelves are now ‘out of stock’… the store attendants told me as a matter of fact.

This is how societies behave when faced with a Global epidemic.

This is a perfect example of *why we all should have listened to Civil defense* warnings about *Always having Emergency supplies*… a civil emergency kit.
Because when the shit hits the fan… it is simply *too late* to stock up.
You slept when you should have been a busy squirrel!
Now winter is here!

Dont allow this crisis to turn you into a Racist.
Dont let it turn you into a lawless
How we all behave in this time of crisis will determine our Mettle… what sort of human beings we *really are*… for it is only in times of crisis that our morals and values are truly tested.
Most of us have seen the pathetic video of the three Auzzy woman pulling each other hair out over rolls of dunny paper… and how one evil cow with a shopping cart chocker with rolls would not even allow the stranger to have a single pack to maintain her own dignity!
*That my friends is a demonstration of how thin the skin of civility is on many people and that beneath lurks heartless savages!*
In the time of crisis we will see that many Human beings dont give a rats arse about anyone but themselves!

Well my people I pray you have a great soul that that!
Be wise and frugally manage your supplies, yet I pray that should things become dire for your friends and neighbors that you do what you can to share anything you possibly can… because even the smallest measures of generosity and compassion could make the world of difference to those in dire straights.
And how you act in these time will not only be the measure of your humanity… but also will not be forgotten by those you help… or refuse to help…. remember that.

This graph (Below) is very handy for understanding the spread of the virus.
It will help people to judge risk in the early period… yet for many countries thay are already in the the first phases of the steep climb.
It shows exponential growth over a cycle of 15 days.
10 000 x 10 000 …. in 15 days time…. in Italy, Iran, and south Korea.
We here in New Zealand have not yet hit 100 ‘confirmed cases’… yet that should only be in the next month…. in 6 weeks we could hit 10 000.
Globally the numbers will soar to a staggering number.
The death rate will be proportional.
Yet regional factors also have some variable affects… some positive… some negative.

This Blogpost has been a bloody nightmare to write… and will probably suck just as badly to read!
Not only is it Obscene in length, containing last weeks news that has been thoroughly covered by other writers when it was actually current … The whole theme I was trying to lay out simply didnt work!
There has been too much crap going on!
Yet because I have spent 3 days writing this sod of a thing, I am too peeved to just Euthanize it … letting it die quietly… with dignity…

As the calendar clicked over into 2020 I was wallowing under a cloud at how oppressive Ardern’s regime and her henchmen The New Zealand Police has been behaving with regards to the Police raid on Right Minds Social media Commentator and critic of the Ardern Globalist doctrine and Concerned Citizen who made a Submission in opposition to the Firearms Amendment Act… Conservative Thinker Dieuwe de Boer.

The Police had evidently used his submission to the bill as ‘pretext’ to invade and ransack his home and traumatise his family… finding nothing…. yet leaving him (and the Independent NZ Blogging community) a clear message from the regime… of the consequences contrary opinions to the State Agenda could expect to be treated if they dare express them in the public domain.

This shocking act of Political Gansterism was just the latest in a series of such raids on independent Kiwi social media commentators … a clear systematic pattern now evident to all who are awake… one which the so-called mainstream media have done their part to condition the sheeple to endorse as a legitimate suppression of ‘Far Right extremism’.

I had predicted this Jackbooted activity would commence (here) given the Gun confiscation amnesty had been such an utter failure… the Police eager to ‘Punish’ those who had in any way attempted to protest against their new tyrannies…. and because the raid on de Boer’s family home was well covered by several Bloggers there was little I could have added to the discussion, and so I chose to share these commentaries rather than write another one myself.

Anti-freedom Social engineers are constantly baying for more heavy handed socialism.
Academics and the Media have been promoting sugar taxes… and Taxes on Meat and dairy… Hospitals are changing their menus, not to improve Patients health but for the so-called Politically correct rationale of making their operations ‘more environmentally sustainable’.

I was feeling the weight of the relentless Millitarisation of the New Zealand police as being the new and accepted ‘Post Christchurch ‘Norm’ … having been sold to the public via the same lies that were used to justify the concurrent disarmament of Law abiding New Zealanders… that the Christchurch attack ‘had forever changed the rules of the game’… and that We New Zealanders must accept a heavy curtailment of our rights across the board… because we are being told our rights and liberties were ‘dangerous’… and therefore the Police needed far more Powers.
Today if the police pay you a visit they will always be armed… and they will treat you as if you are dangerous irrespective of the reason they have come to see you about.

Yet in the blink of an eye The New Zealand Police have become a serious danger to the New Zealand Public and they waive loaded guns in people faces on a regular basis and have shot more people in the past 10 years than in the previous 40… and at an accelerating rate…

It is Ironic that while the media report Climate change Doom hysteria is creating a wave of anxiety destroying the hopes and dreams of the youth because they are being told that the governments of the world are not acting decisively enough to reign in capitalism and Far Right extremism and hate…. yet I have been harboring my own anxiety and bleak outlook for precisely the opposite reasons… as I watch the loss of Liberty… The systematic vilification of dissenting opinions… and exponential growth of the Police state… how do tell my son to have faith in God’s grace and providence, while at the same time warn him of the fast approaching Global Kingdom of The Antichrist?

Laugh at me if you like yet anyone familiar with the New Testament and particularly Book of Revelation can see the Prophecies about the Global system of the Beast all coming to fruition… The spirit of Antichrist… the Roaring Lion… the evil seducing spirits at work sewing the idea that Christianity is Evil and its dissemination should be should be Legally suppressed as ‘Hate crime’.

These thoughts and others have been weighing heavy on my soul and because of a sense of utter helplessness to prevent the advance of Leviathan I have been suffering despair for the future… despair for my Children and Grand children… will they grow strong enough in Fortitude and wisdom… in Faith, and Truth to be able to walk the path that the Children of God must walk… and endure the Powerful delusions that will be propagated against the truth?
I am fearful that they will not be strong enough to resist and to endure… for I know what a monumental trial lies ahead for Christians and Libertarians.

And yet in the past few weeks several monumental things have happened that have reminded me of the importance of maintaining a positive faith.
When things look dark it is easy to get tunnel vision and to focus on the gloom… yet I am happy to say that I have today good reason to think that The Powers of Light are not yet defeated, and that Though things are dire… that still resistance is on several fronts causing the minions of Satan to retreat… and the first of those was January 31… BREXIT!

This is of itself a very depressing fact, and yet the National party Leader Simon Bridges has made Several announcements that do in fact constitute some important improvements on what Ardern and Labour are peddling.
In particular he has said he wants the farcical Treaty settlement process to be fully wound up by 2024, He says that the waitangi tribunal should eventually go, and also wants to see an end to the Apartheid electoral system and race based seats in parliament!

Both these things are of the highest importance to me and so while ‘Regeim change’ will not exactly be reason for dancing in the street as would be the case if New Zealand elected a Libertarian party into office, none the less there are at least some reasons to be more positive than the current misery.

Given that Arderns recent meddling, having ignored the *Legal* status of Treaty grievances at Ihumatau as being full and finally settled , is threatening to completely put our nation back to square one

As usual it was on the last night that submissions were open that I could no longer put off writing my submission… and as usual that left me no time to do a decent job of it… no time to refine it, correct it etc etc and I have just submitted it with just over an hour till submissions close…

Submission of Tim Wikiriwhi on the Arms Legislation Bill

I oppose the regressive step of reintroducing a Gun registry, and any further infringements of New Zealanders current Gun Rights.
I request the Bill be scrapped.

My concerns about this second tranche of heavy handed Gun laws proposed in this Bill, is that like the preceding Arms amendment Act which criminalised Law abiding citizens who owned semiautomatic firearms… who have now been forcefully dispossessed of their rightful property having been stripped of their rights though having committed no offences whatsoever… are yet again facing more unjust treatment by our Leftist Liberal Government and Police… under equally disingenuous aims and justifications.
The way the first Tranche was shamefully enacted sets the context by which the public ought now to view with trepidation this second tranche.
That spectacle is still fresh in my mind… the underhanded way Parliament cheated David Seymour of his vote to insure a more thorough process was followed… with far more public consultation… truly contemptible behavior by Parliament for Legal rigor!
There are good reasons why those legal safeguards existed for a more thorough process and yet all parliament colluded to negate due process!
The Shame of it stinks to hell!

Parliamentarians like Ardern whose personal Globalist ideology is at variance with her duty and responsibility to the people of New Zealand, and The Police who had been lobbying to get Semiautomatic Rifles outlawed for a long time prior to the Christchurch event, have colluded together and acted in self serving ways with respect to the first tranche of Arms confiscations, and being emboldened by the ease with which they were able to Rob New Zealanders of their Rights and property…. they now have come back for a second helping with this second tranche… that is born out of the same self interest and carried forward by the same contempt for the rights, property, and Liberty of the New Zealand people!

There is little evidence that the Government’s gun buyback scheme would avoid future gun-related death and injury, the Treasury advised the Government. And with this being so is it any wonder that large swathes of previously trusting New Zealanders are now starting to see through the propaganda about these arms amendments being about making our country safer, but now perceive the real underlying motivations behind these legislative actions that serve to take away the rights of New Zealanders and further empower the State?

New Zealanders like myself are not fooled by the semblance of ‘due diligence’ that this public submission process entails… New Zealanders need to ask whether or not The committees place any serious weight on concerns raised by Citizens like myself who oppose new legislation which take away the rights and property of New Zealanders and further empower the State… or as I suspect via cognitive dissonance and prejudice they dismiss voices of protest, and carry out their own ambitions… regardless.

For example I know that the committee will have received many submissions that will respectfully ask the committee to consider overseas evidence that Gun Registers are notoriously unreliable at keeping track of fire arms… and at best only keep track of those held by the law abiding… not criminals… and are very expensive to administer, and result in another bloated bureaucracy, and because they dont make society safer other countries have abandoned them And in fact it was because of facts like this that New Zealand decided the register was a waste of time and abandoned having one in the first place!
These people who make these valid points for which they have good evidence to substantiate their assertions that the reintroduction of a Gun register will not make our country safer from gun crimes are doing so under the assumption that this submission process is not a charade, and that the committee will genuinely be moved by Well reasoned arguments and appeals to facts.
These well intentioned and guileless gun owners take it on face value and have bought into the line that these proposed amendments arise from Ardern’s genuine ambition to make New Zealand safer… and that she and Parliament will be open to reason.
Not I!
I suspect Ardern’s real ambition is ultimately the prohibition of all privately owned firearms… one step at a time.
I think to myself How foolish are these other citizens who appeal to the governments sense of reason!
How silly to assume that by providing facts and proofs that a gun register will not achieve the expressed outcome that our government claims to be the underpinning motive and justification for the Law changes that they will take heed of such submissions and this bill will not make it though the gauntlet into law!
I doubt this because Ardern and her Comrades keep their *Real motives and intents* hidden from the public and so they will not be swayed by such facts in the slightest… because they miss *the real mark*!
My submission on the other hand may be less congenial… but is more accurate.
Their true reason for enacting this bill and having a gun register *is about power over New Zealand gun owners*

Thus I can say with a large degree of confidence that no matter how many submission this committee receives in opposition to this bill that it will become law… the public be damned!

If after this Public consultation process it is determined *not to reintroduce a gun register* I will eat my hat!

Its already a foregone conclusion… because Ardern and the NZ Police *want the register for their unspoken nefarious goal.
All submissions and arguments and proofs about how a register is a waste of time with respect to public safety will fall on deaf ears as the *Real* purpose why Ardern and the Police want the gun register is *not about* safety or keeping guns out of criminal hands… but about making it easier for them… *The State* to implement future successive waves of Arms confiscations and make it much harder for The Citizens to refuse to comply… and this is their agenda and why a gun register *will serve the interest of Ardern and the Police very well*.
Step by step our Rights are in retreat while the jackbooks march forward until they have achieved their ultimate goal… complete firearms prohibition… the Socialist Police States wet dream!

The Draconian way Our Arden led Parliament and police have behaved post Christchurch Attack has in fact evidenced the tragic truth… The terrorist has won!

This Bill is part of an ongoing assault on the Rights of New Zealanders that represents a massive shift in personal freedom vs the Power of the State… it is part of an insidious erosion of Our Liberty and Rights that has been enthusiastically accelerated by our hostile Government and Police under the pretense of being an understandable response to the Christchurch terrorist mass murders.

A response that in fact is so ‘understandable’ it was not merely anticipated by the Terrorist himself… but carefully engineered!
Ardern and the Police have done exactly what the terrorist hoped they would do and he said so in his manifesto!
That’s the manifesto the government has banned New Zealanders from reading so that they can understand what the vile Terrorist’s actions were *really* all about for themselves.
The manifesto which our government has busied itself trying to get banned internationally.
So now New Zealanders who never watched the news reports about the manifesto… or took the opportunity to read it while it was still lawful to do so… are now expected to ‘Believe the Official narrative’.

In reality these new Gun laws have zero to do with *a rational response* to the Christchurch atrocity.
New Zealanders who are not fooled by Socialist Liberalism know our government is following the UN ‘textbook’ on ‘how to sell out your Nation to Globalism, a chief tenet of which is the disarmament of Western populations…which is why US Liberals are so hostile towards their second amendment which constitutionally protects american citizen’s gun rights from Liberal Police State confiscation.
And in this UN Socialist textbook it is the Police who benefit from all the new legislation… not the people… the people have to simply shut up… and do as they are told!
We see our Globetrotting PM promoting Anti-free speech State regulations of Social media, and yet
internet security via encryption is not welcomed… because it will hamper Government (Police) ability to spy on citizens.

Parliaments and the Police rushed Arms Amendments has sown mistrust and outrage!
Innocent and law abiding New Zealanders have been robbed of their rights and property by the collusion of Politicians and the Police.

It was also the very height of presumption for Ardern to ‘Pontificate’ ‘that firearm ownership is not a right but merely a privilege’ … This statement coming down from on high is not *a fact* but her personal opinion that is worth no more than any other New Zealanders… no matter how often it was repeated in the press since.
That this utterance has become the dominant premise being peddled to the New Zealand public is a disgrace!
If such a position were to be accepted as a Fact that would render New Zealanders not Free citizens who enjoy the greatest Liberty… but sorry subjects of an Authoritarian State that rules by despotic Laws and powers!

Ask yourselves how it is that our society should slide so far!…. So fast!…so that now we are told we can no long enjoy the great freedoms we have had for generations?

I can already tell that this Inquiry is a Scam… by checking out the ‘Terms of Reference’ which are the instructions from Parliament that set the scope of the inquiry… what Parliament wants the inquiry to investigate and what it is prohibited from investigating… well in these ‘terms of reference’ (re: the link) we see that Ardern… in cahoots with the Police have already loaded the dice both to avoid the commission finding fault with the police leading up to the event, or with the governments actions after the event:

(A) no investigation will be made to inquire *into what failures the police made in issuing Tarrant a licence*

So this inquiry is designed to feign a rigorous investigations into the root causes… and yet one of the most vital aspects that need investigating… *How the Police could issue this foreign terrorist a Licence* … is *not* part of the investigation… thereby meaning the Police will not have to explain to the Public how and why they got it so wrong!

So there goes probably the most essential aspect of this horrific affair saving the Police and Government any fears of getting caught out as in any way culpable!

(B) the Commission is expressly forbidden from inquiring
or commenting on the New Arms amendments!

So what this means is if we the public present arguments that evidences that the new arms amendments actually make us *less safe*… the Commission is expressly forbidden from investigation this further or making recommendations *that may be contrary to Arderns ambitions to confiscate more guns!

So again the terms of reference *protect the Government and Police* from any lines of inquiry that calls into question their activities and Arms prohibition agenda!

So this means it is almost pointless submitting to the commission that a far better way to make NZ safer is to *strengthen* our rights to self defense rather than diminish them … which just goes to show just how much ‘hot air’ the claim that this is an honest investigation designed to fully inquire what was done wrong and what could be done better to help prevent this happening again.

It appears as if via the terms of reference the Police may even be handed an alibi.
Though they will not be facing any investigation into how well they adhered to their responsibilities and due processes on issuing licencees, I can see that if it appears that Tarrant was a complete unknown to intelligence agencies that this will not only be used to excuse the police for issuing him a licence (though members of the Gun community question the Polices procedural rigor) There is every likelihood that this Royal commission will ‘recommend’ an escalation in Police powers and intrusions!

This is a Farcical Charade…. A Whitewash!

Ardern’s Police state agenda against the people of New Zealand will keep chugging forward… under the pretense of National security against Terrorism.

Yet still I am going to make a submission and include a protest about these things… and at least they will become a matter of public record, because all submissions are kept and are available to the public to read…. and so I encourage people to get a submission together in the next 9 days.

Whats taking so long?
Its been 6 months already!
The Longer they delay the more likely He will be rendered unfit to stand… is that what the government wants?
Is that their plan?

Just remember there was no proper trial held in Australia after the squeezed a Guilty plea out of a psychologically damaged Martin Bryant for in respect to the Port Arthur Attack and that means no open and thorough scrutiny of the matter ever took place.

Summary of the Terms of Reference
The following is a brief summary of the Terms of Reference. It does not replace the specifics set out in the full Terms of Reference.

Background
On 15 March 2019, an individual attacked the Al-Noor Mosque and the Linwood Islamic Centre in Christchurch while worshippers were at prayer. Fifty-one people were killed and more than 50 others injured, some seriously.
A man has been charged with offences related to the attack. His trial is due to take place in May 2020.

The Government announced that a Royal Commission of Inquiry would look into what State sector agencies knew about the individual’s activities before the attack, what, if anything, they did with that information, what measures agencies could have taken to prevent the attack, and what measures agencies should take to prevent such attacks in the future.

The Royal Commission is to present its report, by 10 December 2019, so the Government can reassure the New Zealand public, including its Muslim communities, that all appropriate measures are being taken to keep people safe.

Scope of Inquiry
The Royal Commission is to examine:

what State sector agencies knew about the accused attacker, before 15 March 2019
what State sector agencies did (if anything) with that knowledge
whether there was anything else State sector agencies could have done to prevent the attack
what else State sector agencies should do to prevent such attacks in the future.
The Royal Commission also needs to investigate the accused attacker’s activities before 15 March 2019, including:

his time in Australia
his arrival and residence in New Zealand
his travel within New Zealand, and internationally
how he obtained a gun licence, weapons, and ammunition
his use of social media and other online media
his connections with others, whether in New Zealand or internationally.
Findings
The Royal Commission must make findings on:

whether State agencies had information that could have alerted them to the attack
how State agencies worked with each other and shared information
whether State agencies failed to anticipate the attack because they were focused elsewhere
whether State agencies were in some way at fault
any other matters to provide a complete report.
Recommendations
The Royal Commission must make recommendations on:

what improvements could be made to the way State agencies gather, share and analyse information
how State agency systems could be improved to prevent future attacks
any other matters to provide a complete report.
These recommendations could include changes to legislation (except firearm legislation), policy, rules, standards or practices.

What the Royal Commission can’t look at
The Royal Commission cannot inquire into:

the guilt or innocence of any individual who has been, or may be, charged with offences in relation to the attack
amendments to firearms legislation
activity by entities/organisations outside the State sector (such as media platforms)
the response to the attack once it had begun.
Consultation
The Royal Commission can consult with a range of groups, individuals and agencies to help with its inquiries. It must also appoint a person, or people, to help it engage with New Zealand’s Muslim communities.

Principles
The Royal Commission must act in a way to minimise the chance that its processes or report could be used for unlawful activities or damage the public interest.

The Royal Commission can suppress any confidential information it receives in order to protect public safety, avoid prejudicing the Government’s international relationships and maintenance of the law. In order keep this confidence, the Royal Commission may conduct its inquiry, or parts of it, in private.

Reporting
The Royal Commission must present its report, including its findings and recommendations, to the Governor-General, in writing, no later than 10 December 2019. The Royal Commission may also make interim recommendations to the Governor-General at any time.

Before presenting its final report, the Royal Commission must also determine if there are any matters that should be referred to the Intelligence and Security Committee, the Minister responsible for the intelligence and security agencies, or the Inspector-General of Intelligence and Security first.

OneLaw4all Pamphlet Does Not Cause Me Any Offence: Bugger The Advertising Standards Authority! By Libertarian Maori Tim Wikiriwhi.

As a Libertarian Maori Living in such times as we do, and having spent two decades fighting the racist separatism that has been imposed upon our Nation under the general pretense of ‘Honoring the Treaty of Waitangi’ I have become weary… Fatigued… to the point that I often struggle to summon the strength to get myself up upon my soap box to decry the latest Racist, slanderous, and Fallacious claims made daily by Socialist academics and politicians leveled at Pakeha New Zealanders, yet despite my exhaustion the latest outrage by the ‘Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) demands I once again raise my voice in disgust.
Having now deemed a political pamphlet distributed by the Political Lobby group ‘Onelaw4all’ as a‘Racist’ pamphlet likely to cause ‘serious offence’ and must not be distributed I see this as farcical, and yet another example of patent hypocrisy and pretentious arrogance against a legitimate political perspective that is calling for the abolition of treaty separatism.
The Ideals contained within that pamphlet are definitively *Anti-racist* in nature!
The pamphlet is an exposition that condemns the systemic racism of our government today!

These are the facts that the Ardern government (and obviously many of within the ASA) seek to shield from the gaze of the New Zealand Public.
The ASA is self-appointed Non-governmental organisation that falsely claims to be be ‘an authority’ whose judgments and opinions they now expect to be binding upon Political lobby groups and parties such as OneLaw4All.
The Truth is the ASA has no such Legal authority… esp no authority to prohibit Political pamphlets that express the valid opinions of a large portion of the New Zealand people!

Yet Because Onelaw4all exposes the travesty of Waitangi separatism, Andrew Little seeks to use his position of power to push for legislation to prohibit these contrary political views from being freely expounded in the Public sphere.
It is from that motive that he scurrilously labels the tract as ‘Racist’, ‘offensive’, and attacks it’s veracity… as by slinging such muddy accusations he is practicing Textbook lefty Liberal modus opperadi… By arbitrarily painting 1law4all as malicious and deranged, he is laying the groundwork and pseudo justification for perusing the forceful legislative suppression of His own ideological opponents.

The Judgement the ASA have passed upon the OneLaw4all pamphlet obviously was not arrived at via any sort of robust process or hearing that could withstand rigorous scrutiny.
I question what degree of objective investigations… if any… were performed on the content before arriving at their verdict???
It appears they have simply taken upon themselves to label it as ‘Racist’, ‘Miss-leading’, ‘contains False statements’, and ‘likely to cause serious offence’… upon no more solid grounds than their own Political opinions, prejudices and ignorance!
They are merely parroting verbatim what Andrew Little said to the media back in April!
It is preposterous to expect that New Zealanders who subscribe to the contents of the Pamphlet, and know that it’s claims are grounded in historic facts, and who are quite within their democratic rights to organise themselves, and to solicit support from the public for their Political values and policies will pay the slightest heed to this so-called Toothless and Corrupt Authority!
The very point of Free speech, and open debate, in a democracy is to *allow the people to hear for themselves*,discuss and weigh the merits of various arguments *for themselves* *NOT* for some Pompous organisation to do all the thinking for them… and try and ‘spare the people from hearing arguments they may not like’… and effectively make political judgments and decisions for them!
It is only when Citizens are fully informed that they can then cast votes founded upon the dictate of their own mind and conscience.
The truth is there are Political interests who dont want the New Zealand voter to be fully informed!

OneLaw4all asserts that it is our Current government whom via separatist policies are the culprits practicing all the Racism here, that it is the Governments manufactured Treaty narrative that is Misleading, contains false statements, and that all this shameful institutionalised Prejudice causes grievous offence to a great portion of the New Zealand people!
You see the duplicity of those within the ASA who obviously dont give a toss *about how hateful and offensive and racist and unjust, the Governments Treaty separatist policies and institutions are!
Why? because the bigots within the ASA are complicit with the prevailing Politically correct racism and prejudices of the status quo.
They should stick to judging Toothpaste advertising and the like… ie stay withing the narrow confines of their expressed objectives…stay out of practicing partisan politics and matters of legitimate Free speech!

Opposition to the Separatist Status quo… those who want to establish One Law for all are not confined to a few fringe dwelling loons either!
Polls indicate that such a view may in fact be above 50% of the New Zealand population, and includes many notable New Zealanders, and despite what the ASA assumes… Maori like myself also Support the views and claims as expounded in this now infamous document.
We Are Not offended by the assertions made therein!
We are offended by the shameful way Maori are characterized by the socialist government as Social basket cases and hapless victims of British colonisation!

Like I said at the beginning of this Blogpost I have in fact spent the last 2 decades publicly expounding Ending Treaty separatism and establishing One Law for all.
I have delivered speeches all over the North Island, I have argued for this several times on NZ Television and radio, and I have stood on this platform for Parliament in the Hamilton West electorate both as a Representative and spokesman on Maori affairs for the Libertarianz party and later as a Libertarian Independent.

And though the said pamphlet does not contain any of my own contributions it does contain several from individuals I know personally and admire, and whose opinions I share, and so I take it upon myself to express my indignation at the Advertising Standards authority for labeling my Values, Principles, and well founded historic assertions as being something that should not be allowed to be propagated and ‘Removed from circulation’!
Basically they are trying to make all my work for the last two decades Illegal!
Thank God they have *Zero Legal authority* to do so!

I defend the authors and contributors of the Onelaw4all pamphlet standing up for their own honour against the slanderous, Bigoted, and racist lies that are peddled by the Government against them and their ethnicity!

In Truth, historically speaking the colonization of New Zealand stands in stark contrast to how colonization unfolded in other parts of the Empire.
For Starter New Zealand was Colonized in the midst of the most enlightened Era in which England had abolished slavery!
The Treaty of Waitangi is a document of unparalleled enlightened values that attempted to safeguard Maori interests by granting them Full Rights as British subjects!
Yet when Pakeha New Zealanders stand up to defend themselves and their Ancestry from the bigotry heaped upon them by Socialists and radicals, they are the ones being vilified as racists… they are the ones being to ‘to go home’!
This is very same evil that our Woke PM Jacinda Ardern spoke publicly against when she condemned US President Donald Trump when he said that of the ‘Squad’ of Radical Liberal democrats did not like America… they could leave!
In the light of such posturing, we should ask how then can she reconcile her patently contradictory stance by which she supports the ongoing vilification of the descendants of Pakeha immigration?
Obviously she cheery picks her moments to ‘Virtue signal’ whenever it serves to further her own political objectives!

The truth is that People who support the establishment of One Law for all… like myself.. a Maori, and Don Brash are *humanitarians* fighting systemic racism for the principle of Equality before the Law!
I fight Waitangi apartheid not only because it is racist and unjust, but also because it has ensnared the Maori people in poverty and welfare dependence and is the chief cause why Maori are doing so poorly across the board as measurable by every social metric.
The simple facts are that Socialism and Treaty separatism are Abject Humanitarian failures… and its time it was forsaken.

We live in dangerous times!
We have a political class that is determined to erode our rights and liberties!
What makes the attack on Onelaw4all esp dangerous to our democracy is because unless their right to expound their political arguments is successfully maintained, there is *no other means by which the people of New Zealand will hear their side of the debate.
The Left will have an effective monopoly on free speech, as the mainstream media only reports on issues from the official Leftist Narrative, and the escalation of Censorship on the Liberally controlled social media, Liberalism is busy shutting down dissenting onions on line.

New Zealand freedom is slipping away.
We have never before suffered such a relentlessly oppressive political ideology… all cloaked under the Facade of Politically correct ‘benevolence’.
These Wolves in sheeps clothing pretend to be fighting against oppression and intolerance, when in reality they are systematically imposing an extremely intolerant and oppressive socialist tyranny!
They fool the gullible by filling their heads with the delusion that ‘Nanny State cares’… when in fact Nanny State Hates!

My fellow countrymen I raise my voice in dire warning for Arderns Coalitions governments desire to write and enact ‘Hate speech legislation’ that is nothing short of a tyrannical desire to take away our rights to Free speech and critise the government!
Voices like mine will be outlawed!
More and more people will find themselves in court for expressing their own views!
We are already seeing Christians being prevented from sharing the beliefs in public!

Opposition to the Ideals embodied in the call for OneLaw4all is not new.
I have faced many Maori radicals who have hurled abuse and threats.
I have been snubbed by the media and at Election rallies, yet never before has their been such a determined effort by those who disagree with us… the vested interests and powers which our arguments threaten… to have us shut down… have our pamphlets outlawed, have us banned and de-platformed on social media!
Our Political adversaries cannot defeat us with facts and reason and so they are resorting to Force!
They want to silence our voices and have us punished for sharing ideas and facts that they dont want the general public to contemplate.
They want to control what you Read.
they want to control who you get to hear!
They want to control what you think.
WAKE UP! It’s time to Rally!
Its Time to stand up and kick out these enemies of your Rights and liberties… the enemies of your Traditional Kiwi values!

Wake Up New Zealand!
You are living under a fast growing Police State!
There is a battle going on over the minds of our nation that if we loose… the Government will fully control what views and opinions your children will imbibe… and determine what beliefs they eventually subscribe to… and what values they hold!

This post appeared on my FB alternative Social Media News feed.
‘VJM Publishing’ is a New Zealand Based Independent commentator and Blogger who dares to march to the beat of their own drum with complete disregard to what passes as ‘the official narrative’.
I dont subscribe to much of what they publish, yet I greatly respect independence of mind… and the courage to speak out against corrupt powers that be… and in this sense VJM publishing is very much kindred spirit to Eternal Vigilance Blog… and it is *always* disturbing to me when I read about such activities by the New Zealand Police that involve people who have only exercised their legitimate rights to expressing their own opinions and beliefs without engaging in threats.
It is not essential prerequisites for me to either agree with the opinions being expressed, or the manor in which they were delivered for me to appreciate that *Every time the Police visit someone in New Zealand because of the Lawful expression of their own opinions that this is an extreme danger to *The Rights of all of us to Free speech*… and that the worst possible thing for our country is to allow ourselves to fall into apathy… and for us to become inured at this serious breach of proper Police conduct… and socially conditioned to the degree that it no longer triggers alarm… but becomes acceptable… and routine…. and the act of protest against it then becoming ‘radical’ and ‘suspicious’ .. in the herd mentality.

I also asked… ‘How does this make you feel?
How will this affect your future posts to the net?
Not to say that you are feeble, yet still I can already assume that such a visit will cause you… and anyone that has been intimidated in such a way by the *State to hesitate expressing opinions on specific topics that are the focus of the Governments agenda and actions…that before this visit you would have made with full conviction that they need to be said.
I can imagine if this happened to me that I would naturally feel this way myself… and it is this psychological intimidation that is such a threat to free speech… even without other actions such as prosecutions… de-platforming… etc.

From my study of how best to deal with this situation, I think VJNP did very well as Legal advice suggests there is little to be gained for the targets of this Police attention, and a lot loose by voluntarily talking to them… yet I cant help but wonder if a few specific questions at the door could be informative as to which actual ‘internet conversations’ you engaged in ‘triggered’ them to schedule you for a visit.
We can already with confidence know that anyone they ‘visit’ like this is on their watch list and it is highly likely that your Internet associates are also under surveillance.
It is dangerous for you to engage them voluntarily, and even if you get arrested for some charge you still have the right to refuse to give a statement…

For all Her Post Christchurch Virtue Signalling about ‘making New Zealand safer’, New Zealand’s Woke Liberal Marxist PM Jacinda Ardern’s rushed Gun confiscations do exactly *nothing* to remove firearms from the hands of Gangs and Criminals… in fact suggestions that the Gun Buy back scheme should include a legal amnesty for guns which are illegally obtained and held was flatly rejected!

Take 5 and let that fact sink in!

As a Libertarian who believes in the right to bear arms in self defense, and who sees the New Arms Act amendments as patently unjust.. and nothing short of worst kind of oppressive political opportunism against a sector of New Zealand society she holds in contempt…framed under a cloak of Lofty Statesmanship and Beneficence by a dangerous power tripper to drive home an oppressive ideological policy for which she had harbored ambitions for a very long time… Yes… I make no secret of my personal angst for what has transpired… and it is a matter I ponder upon a great deal… and of late my thoughts have focused upon this… Gob smacking aspect of the charade…. that Ardern and her minions have expressly denied the means by which Criminals may hand in their illegal weapons!

That is a Staggering fact!

And it’s a weighty proof that this whole Arms Prohibition has zero to do with making New Zealand safer, but that what is really her ambition is the systematic dis-armament of the Innocent and Law abiding people of New Zealand.
Indeed *they are the only people* who are having their firearms confiscated under the threat of jail!

Now there was quite a stir caused among the general population recently when a Leader of one of New Zealand’s most notorious Gangs… The Mongrel Mob… openly admitted that His gang would not surrender any of their guns! (Read here)
New Zealanders were confronted by the reality that the Gun confiscations would not remove ‘weapons’ from Criminals whom are most responsible for Gun crimes… yet I dont know why anyone would be surprised by this Gang Leaders frank and honest declaration… only Idiots think that Laws prevent Outlaws from doing Illegal things!
What has heavily impacted upon my ruminations of late has been *the far more mind blowing fact* that Jacinda Ardern and the Police have provided *no means* by which Gang members and Crims could hand in their illegal arms… *Even if they wanted to!*

This is a *Massive Flaw*… a gigantic stumbling block.. in achieving the desideratum these Power Trippers claim to be the fundamental purpose of the New Prohibitions… less guns in the wrong hands!

Far be it my desire to instruct the government on how to conduct their tyrannical ambitions, yet surely only fools cannot see the benefit of offering amnesty and Compensation for any illegally held firearms to be surrendered… no questions asked!

Not only can we be sure that this would remove *some guns* that are illegally held, but the Propaganda value of this move would be immense… and go a long way to quelling the angst of the law abiding Gun community that they alone have been target for disarmament!
One would think that every gun surrendered by criminals would be of much more significance in making New Zealand safer than any removed from the hands of the law abiding Citizenry … not only because it is the guns that are in criminal hands that are the greatest threat to both the police and the general public… yet especially because it is far more likely for would be future terrorists to gain their weapons on the black market… from this *this illegal cache* that is in the hands of Bad character types.
Any Fears that such an offer could generate a wave of new Gun thefts by criminals hoping to cash in on the Buy back scheme could be quashed by a caveat: that any guns handed in that were found to be stolen after the start of the gun buy back scheme would forfeit amnesty.

In reality the Draconian way the government and Police have acted in passing the new prohibitions, and their Bumbling and irrationally conceived ‘buy back’ scheme is guranteed to result in a minimum of compliance, and an even greater number of Firearms moving into Criminal hands and being available on the black market!
Precisely as Act Party’s David Seymour has warned!

The Truth is that even the Australian Gun Buy back scheme when they outlawed semi-automatics after the Port Arthur Massacre only succeeded in removing and estimated 20% of the newly prohibited types, leaving a whopping 80% to be retained by Australians illegally, and many now changing hands on the black market.
I have read that there are 5 million plus illegally held firearms in Australia.
“In Australia it is estimated that only about 20% of all banned self-loading rifles have been given up to the authorities,” wrote Franz Csaszar, professor of criminology at the University of Vienna, after Australia’s 1996 compensated confiscation of firearms following a mass murder in Port Arthur, Tasmania. The article below which follows my commentary is very well worth reading (Or listening to on Leighton Smith Podcast 24)…. thank you Robin for sending me the link.

There is so much about this opinion piece that is weighty… esp the fact that the Left Bitch all day every day about Trumps manor when in truth he is practicing Street fighter rules… the very same ‘Urban warfare’ rules the left uses (yet cloak in PC Sheeps clothing) … and is beating the crap out of them!
*That is what Makes Trump Great*, and that is what the Left are crying about….
He is succeeding where preceding, Tamer, more congenial Men have utterly failed!
Appeasers, Compromisers, Sell outs, etc.
Only a Man with Gigantic Balls… and personal belief…. tenacity… would dare to pursue policies that would reverse the relentless drive of the globalist agenda on such fundamental things as Pandering to the UN, Climate change hysteria, and Mass Immigration.
And that is not Arrogance…. that is virtue.

Yet it amazes me how effective the incessant little whiny bitch complaints from the Global leftists are in conning such a substantial portion of the worlds population into enmity against Trump…. not because they can articulate reasoned and nuanced criticisms… but because they are so fickle… pompous.. and childish in their thinking… habitually judging things on their exterior forms… which is why people like Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, and Bernie Sanders find it so easy to maintain their Support.

As a Libertarian I cannot call myself a Bona fide Trump supporter, as he does many things I disagree with, yet I can say with 100% certainty that I am glad he defeated Clinton, and that he is the Man of the Hour… doing far more good than wrong, and I hope he wins in 2020 …. There is no one comparative to him in stature that can do such an effective job in putting the breaks on the Left/right Global Agenda. Trumps Arrogance is his virtue!
And as an ideological ‘Street fighting’ Non-PC activist myself, When I watch Trump I see a great man *who really does care* for his people, and for what is right… He’s genuine… he does not pull his punches… In Trump I see a kindred spirit.
Despite his failings (and there are many)…I like him… and watching as things have unfolded I have modified some of my own views… I was very critical of Trump when he was running for election.
Yet he has grown in my respect.
Fighting the Politically correctness that shields the evils and Tyranny of Lefty Liberalism, I know what its like to be down in the trenches getting dirty… Ideologically fighting the Zombies… hand to hand.
It is easy for adversaries to label me a crackpot or a ‘Savage’… or ‘an apologist for the Far right’.
I used to be quite concerned about such Ad hominem slander. yet now I realise that if you are going to fight the good fight, and not shy away from contentious issues simply to out of fear of being labeled ‘far right’.. that such cowardice is a victory for those who seek to silence your voice.

My leftist friends (as well as many ardent #NeverTrumpers) constantly ask me if I’m not bothered by Donald Trump’s lack of decorum. They ask if I don’t think his tweets are “beneath the dignity of the office.” Here’s my answer:

There could not have been a man of more quiet dignity than George W. Bush as he suffered the outrageous lies and politically motivated hatreds that undermined his presidency. Could there be another human being on this earth who so desperately prized “collegiality” as John McCain? Has there been a nicer human being ever than Mitt Romney? And the results were always the same.

This is because, while we were playing by the rules of dignity, collegiality and propriety, the left has been, for the past 60 years, engaged in a knife fight where the only rules are those of Saul Alinsky and the Chicago mob.

I don’t find anything “dignified,” “collegial” or “proper” about lying, as Obama did, about what went down on the streets of Ferguson, Mo., or lying about the deaths of four Americans in Benghazi and imprisoning an innocent filmmaker to cover your tracks. I don’t see anything “statesmanlike” in weaponizing the Internal Revenue Service to destroy your political opponents and stifle any dissent.

But while the left has been taking a knife to anyone who stands in its way, the right has continued to act with dignity, collegiality and propriety.

With Donald Trump, this all has come to an end. Trump is America’s first wartime president in the Culture War.

During wartime, things like “dignity” and “collegiality” simply aren’t the most essential qualities one looks for in their warriors. Ulysses Grant was a drinker whose behavior in peacetime might well have seen him drummed out of the Army for conduct unbecoming. Had Abraham Lincoln applied the peacetime rules of propriety and booted Grant, the Democrats might well still be holding their slaves today. Lincoln rightly recognized that, explaining to Grant’s critics: “I cannot spare this man. He fights.”

Trump is fighting. And not only is he fighting, he’s defeating the left using its own tactics.

Saul Alinsky’s “Rules for Radicals” is a book so essential to the liberals’ war against America that it was the playbook for the entire Obama administration and the subject of Hillary Clinton’s senior thesis.

Trump’s tweets may seem rash and unconsidered but, in reality, he is doing exactly what Alinsky suggested his followers do.

First, Trump isolated CNN. He made it personal. Then, just as Alinsky suggests, he employed ridicule, which Alinsky described as “the most powerful weapon of all.”

He has left CNN and its friends with two options: report the news accurately, or ratchet up the propaganda.

The problem is that, if they were to start honestly reporting the news, that would be the end of the Democratic Party they serve. It is nothing but the incessant use of fake news (i.e., propaganda) that keeps the left alive.

Imagine, for example, if CNN et al. had honestly and accurately conveyed the evils of the Obama administration’s weaponizing of the IRS to against its political opponents or his running of guns to the Mexican cartels or the truth about the murder of Ambassador Christopher Stevens and the Obama administration’s cover-up.

This leaves them no other option but to ratchet up the fake news, conjuring up the next “nothing burger” and devoting 24 hours a day to hysterical rants about how it’s “worse than Nixon.”

As they become more hysterical, they become more obvious. Each new effort only makes it more clear to any objective observer that Trump is and always has been right about the fake news media.

Do I wish we lived in a time when our president could be “collegial” and “dignified” and “proper”? Of course I do. These aren’t those times. This is war.

So, say anything you want about this president. I get it. He can be vulgar, he can be crude, he can be undignified at times. I don’t care. I can’t spare this man. He fights.
