A bunch of females getting together within a public space to discuss the issues currently affecting them is far from new, and very far from radical.
Yet, the idea that ‘Feminism 2020’ would dare to congregate at a venue on Massey’s Wellington campus saw a number of students stage a sit-in, which culminated in the handing over of a petition calling on the university to cancel the event.
What is so threatening about women coming together and talking? According to the protestors and petitioners, the organisers of the event – Speak Up for Women – are essentially devil incarnates.
Petition organiser Charlie Myer said the university shouldn’t be “facilitating this kind of discussion”. Feminism 2020 “could have [the event] anywhere” but it wasn’t appropriate for them to hold it at a university, which was supposed to support transgender students.”
Last time I looked universities were required to respect and uphold the quaint, old-fashioned tenet of free speech too. And Massey has, thus far, held out against the pressure of every thrown guilt trip known to mankind. You know, we don’t feel “safe”.
Myer also disputed the group was feminist and simply meeting to discuss women’s issues. “If your feminism isn’t intersectional, it isn’t feminism.”
My advice to parents is to beware Massey University!
There are warped Academics there and any vulnerable young people will be exposed to heavy Transgender indoctrination…. Be warned.
It is in such places that vulnerable youth are conditioned to become transgender under the sway of such movements… only later to regret having transitioned… now it is being reported that *thousands* of Trans Youth now are full of regret and are seeking help to *transition back* to the sex of their nativity…. and we can be certian that a great deal of these youths were indoctrinated and conditioned into becoming transgender by ideologically twisted academics in Universities where these contemptible SJW Liberals congregate… spreading their Toxic and perverse ideas about sexuality.

What has heavily impacted upon my ruminations of late has been *the far more mind blowing fact* that Jacinda Ardern and the Police have provided *no means* by which Gang members and Crims could hand in their illegal arms… *Even if they wanted to!*
This is a *Massive Flaw*… a gigantic stumbling block.. in achieving the desideratum these Power Trippers claim to be the fundamental purpose of the New Prohibitions… less guns in the wrong hands!
Far be it my desire to instruct the government on how to conduct their tyrannical ambitions, yet surely only fools cannot see the benefit of offering amnesty and Compensation for any illegally held firearms to be surrendered… no questions asked!
Not only can we be sure that this would remove *some guns* that are illegally held, but the Propaganda value of this move would be immense… and go a long way to quelling the angst of the law abiding Gun community that they alone have been target for disarmament!
One would think that every gun surrendered by criminals would be of much more significance in making New Zealand safer than any removed from the hands of the law abiding Citizenry … not only because it is the guns that are in criminal hands that are the greatest threat to both the police and the general public… yet especially because it is far more likely for would be future terrorists to gain their weapons on the black market… from this *this illegal cache* that is in the hands of Bad character types.
Any Fears that such an offer could generate a wave of new Gun thefts by criminals hoping to cash in on the Buy back scheme could be quashed by a caveat: that any guns handed in that were found to be stolen after the start of the gun buy back scheme would forfeit amnesty.
In reality the Draconian way the government and Police have acted in passing the new prohibitions, and their Bumbling and irrationally conceived ‘buy back’ scheme is guranteed to result in a minimum of compliance, and an even greater number of Firearms moving into Criminal hands and being available on the black market!

The Truth is that even the Australian Gun Buy back scheme when they outlawed semi-automatics after the Port Arthur Massacre only succeeded in removing and estimated 20% of the newly prohibited types, leaving a whopping 80% to be retained by Australians illegally, and many now changing hands on the black market.
I have read that there are 5 million plus illegally held firearms in Australia.

My leftist friends (as well as many ardent #NeverTrumpers) constantly ask me if I’m not bothered by Donald Trump’s lack of decorum. They ask if I don’t think his tweets are “beneath the dignity of the office.” Here’s my answer:
There could not have been a man of more quiet dignity than George W. Bush as he suffered the outrageous lies and politically motivated hatreds that undermined his presidency. Could there be another human being on this earth who so desperately prized “collegiality” as John McCain? Has there been a nicer human being ever than Mitt Romney? And the results were always the same.
This is because, while we were playing by the rules of dignity, collegiality and propriety, the left has been, for the past 60 years, engaged in a knife fight where the only rules are those of Saul Alinsky and the Chicago mob.
I don’t find anything “dignified,” “collegial” or “proper” about lying, as Obama did, about what went down on the streets of Ferguson, Mo., or lying about the deaths of four Americans in Benghazi and imprisoning an innocent filmmaker to cover your tracks. I don’t see anything “statesmanlike” in weaponizing the Internal Revenue Service to destroy your political opponents and stifle any dissent.
But while the left has been taking a knife to anyone who stands in its way, the right has continued to act with dignity, collegiality and propriety.
With Donald Trump, this all has come to an end. Trump is America’s first wartime president in the Culture War.
During wartime, things like “dignity” and “collegiality” simply aren’t the most essential qualities one looks for in their warriors. Ulysses Grant was a drinker whose behavior in peacetime might well have seen him drummed out of the Army for conduct unbecoming. Had Abraham Lincoln applied the peacetime rules of propriety and booted Grant, the Democrats might well still be holding their slaves today. Lincoln rightly recognized that, explaining to Grant’s critics: “I cannot spare this man. He fights.”
Trump is fighting. And not only is he fighting, he’s defeating the left using its own tactics.

Trump’s tweets may seem rash and unconsidered but, in reality, he is doing exactly what Alinsky suggested his followers do.
First, Trump isolated CNN. He made it personal. Then, just as Alinsky suggests, he employed ridicule, which Alinsky described as “the most powerful weapon of all.”
He has left CNN and its friends with two options: report the news accurately, or ratchet up the propaganda.
The problem is that, if they were to start honestly reporting the news, that would be the end of the Democratic Party they serve. It is nothing but the incessant use of fake news (i.e., propaganda) that keeps the left alive.
Imagine, for example, if CNN et al. had honestly and accurately conveyed the evils of the Obama administration’s weaponizing of the IRS to against its political opponents or his running of guns to the Mexican cartels or the truth about the murder of Ambassador Christopher Stevens and the Obama administration’s cover-up.
This leaves them no other option but to ratchet up the fake news, conjuring up the next “nothing burger” and devoting 24 hours a day to hysterical rants about how it’s “worse than Nixon.”
As they become more hysterical, they become more obvious. Each new effort only makes it more clear to any objective observer that Trump is and always has been right about the fake news media.
Do I wish we lived in a time when our president could be “collegial” and “dignified” and “proper”? Of course I do. These aren’t those times. This is war.
So, say anything you want about this president. I get it. He can be vulgar, he can be crude, he can be undignified at times. I don’t care. I can’t spare this man. He fights.

Due to Public outrage NZ Solicitor General Una Jagose KC has been forced to Withdraw her controversial guidelines she issued that instructed judges to create a two tier sentencing hierarchy which gives Maori lower sentences than non-Maori on the basis that they have ‘suffered colonisation’.

The inconvenience of being shut out of one of my main means of communication with my people, and the fact that there was no warning, rhyme, or valid reason for what they did has not stimulated me into being a more woke individual… the very opposite … hence the Classy Baboons Arse photoshop of the Zucc… made by my 8 year old son! 🙂

That this should have happened to me is no surprise… its happened to me before several times over the most petty reasons, and this type of lefty SJW ‘offence taking’ Prejudice, Bans and deplatforming has become so general and commonplace of Facebook that sadly it has become normal and worse… it has become *accepted*… even by many people who are supposed to be ruggard free thinkers.
I had however anticipated that I would get Zucced sometime in the near future and so like several of my Facebook friends and groups, I have set myself up an alternative Social media presence at MeWe.
Having a ban from Facebook for a month will have some beneficial consequences in that I have begun to aclimatise myself to the Mewe format, and have searched and found… much to my joy… several Libertarian personalities whose activism and insights I enjoy and admire… yet of course there is currently only a fraction of Libertarians and groups there compared to facebook… and that is the Power facebook holds… even over people who despise the the political bias and censorship that tyrannizes over all.
So many people submit to it because their families and friends are there… maybe they have a business presence there… and their favorite groups are there too.
Whatmore most of us have developed an unhealthy facebook addiction having assimilated facebook into our lives and routine… all these factors make the thought of migrating elsewhere to a platform that currently is comparatively lacking in content…. like a crack addict contemplating going cold turkey!
Yet This Blog post is an appeal to you facebook addicts who love freedom and who wish to remain in contact with some of the Best Freethinkers to at least create yourself a Mewe account and try to at least visit your meWe page daily… and to regularly encourage your Family, friends, and groups, to do the same.
It is this way that Mewe will start to become far more fun and a genuine alternative to the Gargantuan Facebook Beast.
I am of two minds as to what other actions I should take… Its my opinion that facebooks Left wing prejudices renders it dangerous to Freedom in society, and that is unworthy of our custom, and on that principle alone It makes sense to *Punish facebook* by withdrawing ourselves… and the more people who do so the better, yet again why should any Libertarian ‘Permanently ban themselves’ from such a powerful Social media site… esp when despite their heinous prejudices …there are still so many befits to be gained there?

One Kiwifruit Orchardist drove all the way from Te Puke to Te Awamutu tonight so that he might stare National Party MPs Barbara Kuriger and Chris Bishop in the eye and tell them how the New Arms legislation they helped enact has not only turned him into a criminal, but also has grievously impacted on his business… affecting his ability to deal with vermin… rabbits,possums, goats, deer and many other unwanted pests that attack his crop and dig holes that endanger his workers in the field.
The National party plan to run a series of meetings around the country to discuss ongoing Gun legislation, this meeting was held at the Te Awamutu RSA, and was attended by a large mob of highly pissed off gun owners looking for blood!
I would estimate there was 300 people in attendance… filling the RSA main hall (The Mps admitted they were only expecting to use a much smaller space) and 90% of the people made it clear they felt utterly betrayed by the National party’s shameful collusion with the Labour Party coalition to rob them of their Gun rights.
From the very start many made it clear they were not interested in hearing weasel excuses, and demanded the two Mps *listen to the people*
More than one Farmer stood up and repeated they suffer same problems about pest control as the guy from Te Puke, and were outraged!
Adding the fact that not only was loosing their AR Semiautomatics a matter affecting the humane dispatching of Pests, but that it is expensive and impracticable to hire Pest control experts..who were also represented at the meeting and bitter that they too are also heavily affected by the legislation and in danger of being shut down unless by some miracle the Police find it in their hearts to grant them an exemption.
One Pest control businessman warns Banning AR semiautomatics will result in a massive increase in pest numbers.
There were Sports shooters and collectors who tore strips off these two National Party Representatives for basically destroying the things they are passionate about.
The people were not impressed with the weak excuses and outright dishonesty they received in response.
Both Kuriger and Bishop tried in vain to shift the blame onto Jacinda Ardern for how the rushed enactment of the Arms (Prohibited Firearms, Magazines, and Parts) Amendment Bill was a farcical and contemptuous violation of Due Democratic process. They told lies that they had no way of either slowing down the Juggernaut, or any power to alter the scope of the Bill … All falsehoods… none of it believed by the people present.
The Crowd was seething about the disgusting Police raids that are afoot…. guns being pointed at children,etc and after many people had expressed how incensed about how their sports, hunting and businesses were directly impacted, Ex New Zealand First candidate for Northcote Kym Koloni tore strips off them saying “Nobody gives a shit what policies you are going to take into the next election, we care what you are going to do about this Right Now!”
“Grow some Balls!, and start acting like a real opposition party or you had better make sure your CV is up to date because you will soon be out of a Job!”
She finished off by calling NZ First Leader, current deputy Prime minister Winston Peters and his sidekick, and Minister of Defense Ron Mark Traitors.
The Public Grilling lasted for over two hours.
One person quoted Jacinda Ardern Pre- Christchurch Terror attack as having stated that “It would take a Port Arthur type event in New Zealand before heavier Gun restrictions could be passed”
So Australian Brenton Tarrant provided her with the perfect opportunity to strike at New Zealanders Gun rights.
Chris Bishop was on the Committee that was supposed to have read the 12000 written submissions and herd the mere 20 people who were allowed to deliver Oral submissions, and told the crowd that though he could not disclose the Committee conversations, he said that some of the National party committee members tried to get exemptions for sports shooters yet were ‘unable to sway Labours Minister of Police Stuart Nash.
Nobody present believed they tried very hard!
The two Mps tried to hide their personal complicity in voting for the bill by saying that as it was not a conscience vote…’They had little choice’ but to vote as a block for what their Party Caurcus deemed would be the party position on the bill… to which one of the people cried out that in doing so they betrayed their local constituencies who have voted for them to take care of their communities interest … not kowtowing to their own party interests!
Chris Bishop admitted the legislation has Flaws… yet National still decided to vote for it despite this fact…. The People called that a betrayal of their duty!
One guys stood up and said instead of Banning all these Guns and having to spend a billion dollars on the buy back scheme why didn’t parliament instead legislate to shift these guns into the ‘E’ category which entails higher security gun safes, and personal vetting? to which Chris Bishop admitted that was probably a much better approach… yet offered no reason why that obviously less severe… more fair option was not considered.
That is when I got the opportunity to stand up and explain the facts.
1. These two MPs are not telling the truth as they were party to the shameful episode in the house in which Trevour Mallard and Chris Hipkins deviously took advantage of David Seymours late arrival to agree to speeding up the enactment of this legislation… the whole national party had the opportunity to slow down this process by a simple ‘No’ vote to Hipkins petition to race this bill into Law.
2. I said the reason why the lesser path of moving these arms to E cat rather than the outright prohibition was never considered *was because this was never about taking a rational approach because the Police had wanted to get these guns outlawed for years… way before the Christchurch attack… *That was the point of this Bill as far as what the Police wanted*
And I reminded them that there was a Safeguard of democracy that was being violated by the Police writing the legislation they also enforce!
Ie The principle of the Separation of Powers!
That is why The farmers got no exemptions, why the Sports shooters got no Exemptions, and why the Collectors got no exemptions!
*The Police were only interested in getting what they wanted*… to hell with everyone elses rights!
It did not matter that the people who are loosing their guns have committed no crimes.
What mattered is that the Police got what they wanted, and Ardern got what she wanted.
And the National party were fully complicit in all of it!
To Chris Bishops credit he acknowledged what I said about excessive Police power and influence in the way the amendment was framed was true.
Chris and Barbara said they were taking all this criticism on board and would report back to their party the views and feelings expressed tonight and would do their best to try and get some easement… some exemptions for Sports people, Collectors, and for pest control when ‘Round two’ of Gun legislation begins shortly.
They also mentioned round two may involve the possibility of a Gun register, of a review of what defines ‘a fit and proper person’… which is a frightening possibility that New amendments and definitions may allow the Police the discretion to deny firearms licences to anyone who expresses opinions or criticisms that neither the Police of Government appreciate… under the pretext that contrary views entail evidence that a person is not fit.
We only need to contemplate the fact that during Kiwi gun blog’s Mike Loders oral submission opposing the new arms amendments, that Judith Colins questioned if he was a fit and proper person to hold a gun licence.
One Gun collector talked about the fact that she had bought her grandson an antique lever action rifle to celebrate him getting his gun license… but now with the new Arms act ammendments his Rife … a gift from his loving grandmother …has been rendered illegal because of its tube mag capacity!
*These are the sorts of Rights violations that have been perpetrated by Ardern, and Parliament against Law abiding New Zealanders!
Its corruption!

More was said on both sides yet what was clear to the people present was that National party had sold them out.
I think its easy to infer the event was a bust for the National Party, who were sent home with their tails between their legs.
They have been given notice of the depth of the Peoples contempt for what they have done.
One Name however shone like a spotlight throughout the evening… Acts David Seymour!
His name would have been spoken over a dozen times and how he carried himself with courage and principle …though out this anti-gun craze… while all the rest of Parliament *Laughed* in his face and showed utter disregard for sound principles of Law, and due process.
Howls of betrayal rang out at the mention of Winston Peters and Ron Mark.
Seymour was used as an exemplar … “Why did not you two do what David Seymour did????”
I think The Act Party are looking to get a serious boost of Support from the Gun owning community of New Zealand.
The National party may think twice about rolling out these meetings across the country now they have had a taste of the wrath of the people… who wont be fooled by lame excuses for their betrayal.
Another important thing this meeting taught me is that any well organised protest down at Wellington would be well attended.
The Gun community needs to rally!

One thing that has occurred to me with regards to one of the Police wish list for the second round of gun regulations they are lobbying for ie: for a revision of what defines ‘a fit and proper person’ to hold a Gun licence, is not only that they will seek greater discretionary powers to refuse licences to individuals on the basis of lawful comments made on Social media that they dont like… maybe criticism of the Police… maybe critisism of Government policy that the Police like… but they are also Cunningly setting up a whole avenue of excuses to absolve themselves from culpability with respect to the up and coming inquiry they are facing with respect to why they gave Brenton Tarrant a gun licence.
You see if they posit the Idea that the current definition has significant failings… they will be able to argue that they fulfilled their obligations *as the definition now stands*… and that it is *insufficient concept* of who is ‘a fit and proper person’ that is to blame and proof that the government needs to ‘make it broader’ … ie give the Police more power and grounds to refuse licences on their own discretion and judgement.
Remember the Government and Police are only interested in this process being a one way road… in their favour… more power to them, less rights … and even less people allowed to hold *any* firearms.
Do not hold any delusions about this process being fair… or reasonable… or Prudent… or has any concern for the Rights and Liberties of Lawful gun owners.
A redefinition on who is deemed to be a fit and proper person to hold a fire arms licence will also trigger a whole new wave of Police raids Raids and confiscations…
